Terms and Conditions
The travel portal Sawadee.com is operated by Web Sawasdee Plc incorporated under Thai Jurisdiction and will be referred to as 'we', 'our' or WSD hereafter.
■ Reservation
All reservations are subject to availability at the time of transaction.

When an instant payment is processed you will receive an e-Voucher to present at the hotel upon arrival (along with a valid ID). In case of delayed payment you will receive payment instructions via email.

In either case, at the time of booking you MUST ensure that the email address is valid and reachable. If you do not receive any reply from us within 12 hours, please notify us immediately.

It is your responsibility to verify the accuracy of all reservation details, WSD cannot be held responsible for delays, losses or 3rd party claims resulting from incomplete or wrong details in your reservation. This includes when access to some remote areas as well as islands is limited to daylight hours, WSD cannot be held responsible from any issues / claims resulting from delays due to the flight schedule.

In case the chosen accommodation has become unavailable between the time of booking and the payment is received, WSD will do all possible to provide an alternative of similar or better standard.
■ Room Occupancy
If not mentioned otherwise, the room occupancy is as follows :
  1. Single room = 1 adult (incl. breakfast for 1 person if applicable)
  2. Double or Twin room = 2 adults (incl. breakfast for 2 people if applicable)
  3. Triple room = 3 adults (incl. breakfast for 3 people if applicable)

Larger units may be able to accommodate more guests and the rates displayed specify how many guests are allowed per room. Additional (Extra) Beds are in general a rollaway or transformed daybeds / sofas. For any additional guests brought to a hotel room after original check-in, the hotel's terms and conditions do apply locally.

■ Check In / Check Out time
The arrival and departure times depends on the hotel's own policies. Generally check-out time is 12:00 PM (twelve noon) and check-in time after 2:00 PM. The hotels reserve the right to charge for periods when the room is occupied outside of their normal check-in / check-out time.
■ Payment / Arrival confirmation
Making an online payment through our payment gateway or using any of the alternative payment options (including bank transfers and PayPal) shall be regarded as your firm confirmation of arrival. Should you fail to fulfill your booking, for all circumstances, the no-show and cancellation policy is applicable as described below.
■ Amendment
Any amendments to your original reservation must be made through WSD and not with the hotel directly. This applies to change of arrival and departure dates, extension of stay, early departure, delay of arrival or partial (or full) cancellation. Any problems or questions about your reservation prior to arrival or during your stay at the hotel should be directed to WSD and not the hotel itself.
■ Cancellation / No-show
Some room rates are restricted in case of cancellation and no shows. The terms are clearly indicated upon entering your booking information, as well as in the reservation correspondence. In case of any cancellations WSD will levy a handling fee of 500 Thai Baht per reservation.

All cancellations have to be done in writing, quoting our booking reference. Cancellations are only effective when we have confirmed them by email. Note that proof of sending of a message will not be regarded as proof of delivery. We must be notified of any cancellation within our normal office hours 8:00 am to 8:00 pm daily (GMT+7).

If you fail to show up at the hotel and a cancellation has not been received at our office and confirmed by email, then no refund will be made.
■ Shortening of Stay
The shortening of stay including, but not limited to, early check-outs, reduction of number of rooms or people are considered as partial cancellation which is subject to our Cancellation / No-show policy.
■ Refund
Following the Cancellation / No-show policy above, any applicable refund will only be made towards the same mean of payment originally used and only in Thai Baht. All refunds will be done in a timely manner, depending on the payment system used.
■ Credit card
The credit card used for payment may be requested by the hotel upon check-in for verification purposes. The cardholder who has paid for the accommodation should be present at the time of check-in at the hotel. The hotel may request an imprint of a credit card or require a deposit in cash to cover any incidental expenses not covered by your hotel booking agreement (such as internet, mini bar or any other expenses incurred during your stay). In some remote locations, credit cards may not be accepted and deposit / payments have to be done in cash only.
■ Safety
The hotel booking form and the payment system ensure safe use of your credit card information for the booking payment as well as confidentiality of your personal data. We do not store credit card information and may need you to enter the card details separately for different payments. The credit card information can be provided to us either through our secure (SSL) payment gateway or directly by phone to our officers or in person at any of our contact points. WSD reserves the right to request additional information or copy of ID and credit card if necessary.
■ Data Privacy
Our privacy policy is available in detail and it will be enforced as stated.
■ Claims
You should contact us immediately if you face any issues with the services you have purchased from us, both upon arrival or during your stay. Any claims must be documented in writing and placed during the period of stay, so that we can take remedial actions. Only if such a claim has been lodged, WSD will investigate and act with the supplier of the services. Should you fail to report to us the problems or claims within 12 hours from its time of occurrence, it shall be deemed that you agree to release WSD from any damages incurred therefrom.
■ Website content
The content and information provided on the Website may change before or during your stay. WSD endeavors that all information displayed is accurate at the time of publishing, but can accept no responsibility for inaccuracy, or truth of statements made. All information and material displayed on the website is proprietary and falls under copyright. While we make every effort to work with hotels that provide an acceptable standard of service and accommodation for the price paid, we hereby expressly disclaim any representation, warranty or undertaking in relation to the quality or the adequacy of any hotels listed on our site(s).
■ Hotel
We have taken every reasonable precaution to ensure that the information (pictures and text) is fair and correct at the time of publishing as well as regularly updated. However as we do not own or control the accommodation, we exclude liability for subsequent alterations and the withdrawal or amendment of facilities.

Pictures displayed on the hotel pages as well as illustrations and maps are for promotion purposes only. They do not represent any benefit that will be included in any room booking made.
■ Modifications
WSD may at any given time modify these terms and conditions and your continued use of the site(s) will be conditioned upon the terms and conditions in force at the time of your use.
