|Baan Talay Samran
consists of 39 individual villas and a condominium building
with 40 units, situated at a beach location only a few kilometers from
the Cha-am main town center. The estate is embraced by a lovely tropical
garden and three swimming pools. All units are individually owned. Some
owners live there themselves while others rent out their villas and
Cha-am located only 180 km south of Bangkok and 25 km north of Hua Hin. It is just a two and a half hour’s drive from Bangkok and Suvarnabhumi Airport on the newly upgraded highway.
You transport yourself into a different world of long, often empty, white sandy beaches, great seafood, blue skies & lazy days. Taxi to Cha-Am from Bangkok and Suvarnabhumi Airport
A taxi from Bangkok & Suvarnabhumi Airport is the quickest and easiest way of getting to Cha Am. The trip should take about 2 - 2,5 hours depending on traffic. Costs should be in the range 2000 - 2800 Baht.
If you require a taxi from Bangkok International Airport (Suvarnabhumi) there is an official taxi stand just outside the arrivals hall (look for the sign Public Taxi). The limousine services available are more expensive than an ordinary taxi.
Minibus to Cha-Am from Bangkok
Minibuses (or minivans) to Cha am and Hua Hin start from Victory Monument in the center of Bangkok. Catch the BTS Sky train to Victory Monument. Make sure you take exit #2 and look for the Century shopping center and the minibuses are just down the stairs on the left hand side.
The fare is only 180 Baht and takes 2 and a half hours, dropping you off at the top of arathip road ( the main road down to the beach). Minibuses run from 06.00 until 19.00 and depart every 30 minutes or earlier when full.
The space available for luggage is quite small, so if you have big suitcases it's not convenient (you can also be charged - 100 baht per piece of luggage).
To Cha-Am and Hua Hin by Train
Trains departure from Bangkok’s Hua Lamphong and Bang Sue railway stations several times daily. Most trains stop to Hua Hin while only two trains stop at Cha-Am.
