X2 Samui Villas by Design, Launched in 2007, X2 (pronounced "cross-to") is Thailands first chain of design resorts and hotels. It caters to a cosmopolitan group of creative and stylish guests that enjoy living life and want a first class, private resort without the formal environment of traditional luxury hotels. For those guests that want something different, the resort allows them to cross to (X2) a whole new dimension of luxury by design, and experience life as it should be. The Resort accommodation are available as as bungalow, pool villa, suite pool villa and owners' villa, all of which offer state of the art luxuries including satellite LCD TV, mini bar and internet access.

X2 Resort Samui
The general area is underdeveloped and peaceful with the only a few high-end residential villa projects sharing the beach. The resort occupies 5 acres (12 Rai) of land, with 27 villas. Most have private swimming pools, and outside areas.

The 100 meter beachfront and 50 year old trees help provide the X2 atmosphere the owners were striving to achieve, and gave designers the background on which to recreate the resort. The resort has a unique spa, and impressive outdoor massage pavilion.

The Pavilion houses only two beds and is situated on 30 meters of beachfront. This extravagant use of prime land provides an unbelievable sense of space and freedom so typical of X2.

All X2 resorts have their signature 4K restaurant (pronounced "fork" and bar. The menu is a mix of eastern and western dishes and the best of fusion. Local products in season tend to dominate the menu, which is prepared by our international chef. Great food and wine is a hallmark at X2 so guests can be assured that their stay will also be a culinary delight.
