Lush gardens, clean and inviting swimming pool areas, lovely beach bar and restaurant serving very reasonably priced and enticing food but most of all clean and spacious bungalows and villas. The room was lovely and there were no problem to sleep three in the big bed. The staff was very good - especially the staff in the restaurant. Very polite and eager to serve well! The location is probably the best in Bophut area - very close to the beach and Fisherman Village. We will definitely return to Smile House if we revisit Bophut.	Excellent as usual. This is a booking service you really can trust.

Rooms were really clean and comfortable, staff very helpful, gardens a tropical paradise and both pools in excellent condition. It was very quiet - no trolleys rolling down the path or noisy vacuum cleaners when staff doing the cleaning. We loved eating at the restaurant with beautiful views straight out over the ocean - we plan to return to Smile House again.	Booking service was quick and efficient and would definitely use them again.

We stayed in a big bungalow with two bedrooms and two bathrooms! We stayed in SM 15 but our friends stayed in SM 16 wich had a big terrace. The restaurant and pool was excellent. The whole village was nice and cosy, not like hectic Chaweng! If we come back to Samui, we will definately stay at Smile house!	Very good!
Miss Claire Smart 2008-02-18 until 2008-02-19	Smile House Resort, Bophut Beach Really pretty hotel. We only stayed for 1 night before heading to Koh P. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast which was in the price was delicious. We loved the place and it was a shame we didn t stay longer. The gardens were pretty and the swimming pool gorgeous :) I can t say much about the area as we only stayed as a stop over until we got the ferry the following morning. One thing I would say is that the receptionist that checked us in was very pushy about getting us to book our taxi and ferry with her to Koh Phangan and became quite abrupt when we said we can do it ourselves.....commission maybe? Apart from that, lovely, enjoy your stay :)	fine :)

We stayed in room SM 16, (2 bedroom, 2 bathroom and a rather large veranda) which was very comfortable for us with 2 young kids. The beach is not the best of Samui, but OK for us. Resort has a nice and good beach restaurant in the evening. Bophut is a nice village for a stay of several days with enough shops and restaurants. Beautiful garden with 2 pools, however I hate the behaviour of claiming a chair with towels before breakfast, and just use it later that day.... I would recommend this resort to everybody.	very good, fast respons

Some noise from the jazzuci infront of our room. And some heavy nigth party with loud music from danish students staying at the resort.A little too bad as we clould not enjoy the nice warm evenings on our terrase, because of the party going on next door. I would recoment Smile house to tell guests that this has turned into a heighschool.We might as well have stayed in the heart of Cherweng beach.	Good as always.

The manager gave us complementary meal coupon(breakfast) while we were waiting for check-in time. We were staying at SM1 which was very well-maintained and very clean.	very efficient. It was a perfect location - Smile is even nicer in reality than in the pictures, has superb staff, spacious clean comfortable rooms, a fantastic pool, great breakfasts, and the sea is lapping on your doorstep. Bo Phut is the perfect base for a holiday and Smile is just at the end of the village, so all in all this hotel excellent, great value for money, and highly recommended by us. On an added note, one of our group was badly injured in a boating accident and could not travel for some weeks - Smile went beyond the call of duty to help during a stressful time.	No problems at all.

Superior bungalow fully kitted out - would recommend....even came with resident furry cat to smooth on the veranda!	No problems - very straight forwards as always.

We stayed at Smile House for a week - our daughter had her wedding at Anantara Resort and most of the guests stayed at Smile House We were very impressed with Smile House and very happy to recommend them to anyone wanting a great place to stay at very resanable rates. The whole complex from rooms to grounds, pools and restaurant were of a high standard and staff friendly and accommodating when a relative was injured and needed extra assistance. I would have no hesitation in recommeding a stay at Smile House whether for a group, family or couple.	Booking were simple and accurate through their booking service
Kerry Kakahi 2008-01-24 until 2008-01-31	Smile House Resort, Bophut Beach When I first arrived my first thought when I walked into our room was that it didn t quite look like how I remembered it in the photos on the internet. However it didn t take long to appreciate what a great place it is to stay at. Firstly I found the staff incredibly helpful and friendly and they kept the entire place, gardens and pool included, immaculate. It was just on the edge of the main shops in Bo Phut, so a very short walk to the local restaurants and shops. The beach was just across the road if you wanted to take a dip in the sea but with 2 gorgeous pools at the Resort we found we swam in the pools instead. Smile House have a restaurant also where breakfast is served as a buffet and the cost of breakfast is included in the cost of the room which is fantastic. The staff at the restaurant were always welcoming and provided fantastic service every time that we ate and drank there. I would highly recommend Smile House Resort as a place to stay.	Fantastic service, so prompt with advising when bookings were complete and thank you for arranging the transfers too...made things very simple.

Both pools were excellent with beach across the road. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. Excellent location with shops restuarants and bars of Fishermans village on the doorstep. Would reccommend Frog and Gecko with good food and friendly staff. The beach as Bohput is OK but worth going to Chewang as the beach there is far superior and lively approx 15 mins by taxi. Overall would highly recommend this resort.	Excellent service and easy to book.

The bungalows were clean, spacious,well appointed and perfect for a chill out. The gardens are superb and we found the staff to be happy and very helpful. We recommend the breakfast in the restaurant and had several excellent evening meals in there. Mr Chow and the staff there were great fun and very friendly. Overall the Smile House is excellent value for money and better than some hotels we have stayed on Samui that are several times the price! In the words of the Terminator We will be back!	Splendid also trouble free and reliable. Made our holiday so easy to arrange.

Great value... beautiful bungalows with lovely bathrooms, comfortable beds and heaps of space! Pool is wonderful with heaps of sun loungers... Restaurant is amazing... right on the beach. Beautiful landscaped gardens, quiet setting. Staff were extremely friendly and we will definatley be staying here again. Its not in the hustle bustle of Koh Samui but we loved Bophut and Fishermans Village. Highly reccomend this place	great! no issues!

A bit pricey but the location was beautiful and the food was good. Hotel is right across the street from the beach so it s convenient for an ocean swim	worked great

Our family terrece bungalo was at the end of the garden, so the rooms are a bit dark, maybe because the roof is dark wood? Couple lamps in the room would help though. Anyway we enjoyed our stay, our 4 year old daughter had great fun at the pools.	Very good.
Anne Sauer 2007-08-08 until 2007-08-17	Smile House Resort, Bophut Beach Fantastic! Enjoyed 8 days in this lovely resort. Arrangement of the chalets within a beautiful garden environment made for a very pleasing and secluded location. It was constantly maintained by friendly, polite staff who also managed to be unimposing. Reception staff were always welcoming and helpful. I’d booked a 2 bedroom luxury terrace (for family of 4) but we also had 2 bathrooms which I hadn’t expected. Space was ample and the interior was of a good standard inc. efficient air con. Chalet was made up daily with clean sheets and towels (bath and pool). Only two points for improvement: we were in a corner terrace and so the ‘lounge’ room and balcony were very dark (brighter light bulbs would have helped but didn’t think to ask!), also the ‘lounge’ area was just that – there was a TV, fridge and facilities for making tea and coffee (you need to provide your own) but no sink! so you have to go to the bathroom to rinse cups, wash fruit etc - only 3 bed chalets have a kitchenette Smile House restaurant is just across a small road, overlooking a beautiful beach. Breakfast offered a wide choice and usually got us through the day with no need for anything else substantial before an evening meal. During our stay we ate there twice in the evening, enjoying the beautiful beach location. Prices were middle of the range and I thought the food was better than the ‘Happy Elephant’. I’d also recommend the ‘Blue Samui’ (turn left out of Smile and follow beach road up to main road) and one of the two indian restaurants (turn right out of Smile, then on the right towards end of the village). There’s also a great pancake maker at the junction where the entry road meets the beach road! The general Bophut area suited us well. There were plenty of other holiday makers but it easily managed to seem quiet and relaxed. We would definitely go to Bophut and Smile House again!	Great!

We stayed in a deluxe bungalow which was perfect. We were a couple and there were lots of kids about which can be noisy at times. Smile is in a great spot, just on edge of Bophut fishermans village where there are pubs,restaurants, shops etc, but not noisy from them. Beach good for us as deep to swim in but may not be great for kids. plenty of other ones nearby though. Staff friendly, good taxi service to airport at 4.45 am. Restaurant a little expensive though, but so is most food on Samui. All in all very happy	Very easy and efficient.
Henk Eertink 2007-07-28 until 2007-08-07	Smile House Resort, Bophut Beach We hebben een erg ontspannen verblijf gehad in Smile House Resort; het is een park dat vlak aan zee ligt, met een stuk of veertig verschillende soorten huisjes in een mooie tropische tuin, waar ook 2 zwembaden in liggen. Wij hadden zo n grote met 3 slaapkamers (3 tieners met hun ouders); prima service; goed ontbijt; badhanddoeken werden zelfs elke dag vervangen. Het park ligt ook erg prettig, aan de rand van Bo Phut. Als je rechts het resort uit loopt, zit je direct in een gezellige straat met tientallen cafés en restaurants, en het park zelf is stil. Super gewoon. Er waren in deze periode franse, engelstalige, nederlandse en een paar duitse gasten.	Excellent service.

We had two: one for the kids with two bedrooms (bathroom each) and living room and one for us: bedroom and bathroom. Both bungalows have a nice terrace. Airco is working well. Garden is beautiful and the bungalows are situated in this garden. Sea not far. Two small swimming pools. Restaurant OK. Breakfast OK, but no oriental breakfast however. Cindy McKellar 2007-06-30 until 2007-07-13	Smile House Resort, Bophut Beach Great resort so close to the fishermans village. The rooms were cleaned daily by very friendly staff. We stayed in a 2 bedroom 2 bath terrace and it was more than adequate for us. The breakfast was basic buffet style, and provided everything that our family needed. The location of the resort was fabulous, Bo Phut is perfect for families, couples or people just wanting to take a break from the hussle and bustle, yet action is only 10 mins down the road by bus or taxi. There is also a great selection of restaurants both Thai and Western and massage parlours both on the beach and air conditioned everywhere. The beach was not all that great but once again 10-15 mins down the road are some lovely beaches - which was great for a morning out. We got very little hassle from sellers on the beach in Po Phut but in Chaewang they won t leave you alone. 2 pools to choose from (one of whcih was being retiled for most of the time we were there). Lots of other children at the resort to help entertain our kids. I would thoroughly recommend this resort to anyone wanting to relax while on holiday on Koh Samui!!	Great service - no problems what so ever.
Anders Velander 2007-06-24 until 2007-07-08	Smile House Resort, Bophut Beach A very good resort with a fantastic staff (reception,cleaners, gardeners,restaurant,tour desk, etc ). The bungalows are well kept and clean and so are the 2 pools aswell. A fine garden, good breakfast, well situated in Bophut (Fisherman Village) close to other restarants and bars. We booked a Family chalet (5 persons)with 2 bedrooms & baths and 1 livingroom. Air-condition in all rooms and a fan outside on the terrace keept us cool all the time, perfect. Bophut is a more quit and calm place if you compare with Chaweng but it takes only 15 minutes with taxi if you want to go there. We strongly recommend this resort and we will resturn for sure if we go back to Samui again.	No problems at all with booking or payment. We will use Sawadee again.

We were a family of 6 persons, 2 adult and 4 children between 6 and 18 years old, from Norway. We came a bit out of season - there were not many guests the first week. We rented a luxary family bungalow. This was next to the pool, which both children and adults found praktical. There was water in just one of the pools, the other was under rehab. The staff was very helpful and frendly. The breakfast was god enough, and the restaurant was ok. We didnt find any better place than Bohput and Smile House to stay for us. We would like to come back to Smile House when and if we come back to Koh Samui.	Wery god, no problems. Quick and helpful booking.

Excellent restaurant / cafe attached to hotel with really lovely breakfasts and fabulous views across the water. Very peaceful. The gardens, and pool are brilliant at Smile House - only downside was one of the pools was closed just after I arrived to be retiled. Would definitely stay again. Really lovely township and not frenetic.	Great booking service. Confirmed arrangements within 24 hours. Very easy to use and user friendly.

The facilities were great. All of the staff was friendly. Enough of the staff spoke enough English that there was no problems with understanding or being understood. The service was excellent and we had no complaints. The food at the Smile House Restaurant was also excellent. We will not hesitate to spend another vacation on Koh Samui at the Smile House.	Sawadee s service was fast and accurate. The overall experience was excellent.

Its close to the village + the beach is across the quiet road. The room was clean and well presented. The pool area + gardens were first class. Breakfast is served in the restaurant across the road near the sea, which wasn’t a problem. Would stay there again as it is very handy for catching ferries to Phangan and Tao. The Fisherman’s village is quiet + relaxing, might be boring for anyone wanting nightlife; but we loved it. One important point, reception is not 24hour, closes about 11pm. We had an early flight [6am],the place was deserted, however, the taxi turned up ok + we had no problems.	Booking service was fast, easy and efficient, as always!!!!
