About the hotel:
This is old hotel. Rooms are not good. The swimming pool has many brokens at the bottom. The swimming pool treatment pump never switched on. That means water has no treatment. Water is not clear as normal. Breakfast is so so. No beach for swimming because of many rocks.
I recommend strongly you have to stay the other resorts,

About the hotel:
We stayed 5 nights, up to April 20th 2008. The hotel is located at the quieter end of Lamai beach so we fortunately avoided the heavy sales persons walking the beach. The nightlife in Lamai town is 5 minutes in a taxi (Bht200). The hotel was once picturesque but is in need of renovation (cracked pool tiles, weathered paintwork, neglected feel). Reception staff were good, breakfast poor as was availability of choice from pool bar & restaurant (no ice, no ice cream for 5 days!). Had to play dodge the debris in the swimming pool.
About the reservation service:
The booking service worked very well for both the hotel and the transportation service. We would use it again.

1. Unfortunately we did not stay at Samui Park Hotel due to some damaged of the room you booked for us. According to the manager of the hotel, there were 2 x rooms free but the ceiling were fall down by unforseen reason and could not be repaired in time.No other available room due to group booking.
2. The mananger of said hotel transferred us to Thai Grand House hotel , according to the manager the room rate of this new hotelis expensive than Samui Park Resort.
3. I could say, Thai Grand House, is smaller than Samui Park Hotel but its a new hotel recently construct one year.
4. Originally, we request for 3 x beds but at Thai Grand house could provide only double and extra beds. The reason we request for 3 x beds due to I could say, I am snoring so it would distrub my boy if we share double bed and its true, my boy complaint whilst my daugther who got seperate bed said good for her to have seperate bed , but not a big deal for us.
5. Allow me to share some experiences for improvement, I found the traffic sign look a bit confusing to us, we hired the car and drive along the road and could not find the place we would likt to visit but could not reach to the destination due to the traffic signs are not convenience, let say, the sign said, Nah Muange Waterfall, we believed it would be around 50 metres after the sign but it seemd once we found the sign, we have to immediate take action such as turn right or left with its quite dangerous for the visitor etc.
6. The food, well well, its rather expensive for local people, in some place there was night market, local food, we found it is very popular for the foriengner but the place arranged is not enough both foriegner and Thai tourist.
From the above comment and conversation with Hotel manager, if we look from the other angle, we could think that the original hotel we booked may have some hidden issues such as, there was no room available for the group so they transferred us to the other hotel. I could say this is not negative thinking but it could be. The hotel need to aware more on these kind of issues.

I could say, it is very convenience for the booking through on-line, especially through relaxzy.com, wonder if the charges is immediately charges to our account or it will depends on the credit card cycle. If immediately charges, believed you need to re-consider to have it krab.

It is a great location, the pool and the beach are wonderful, breakfast is ok. Next time I will stay there again.

About the hotel:
Not a good choice for us. We arrived on Koh Samui and booked into the hotel. They were very friendly and showed us our room. We were going to stay for 30 days and our room was overlooking the very busy noisy road. We said this was unacceptable and wanted to cancel our booking. They then showed another room on the other side, a better room but still not acceptable. They told me I had to call Sawadee to cancel and I did, while I was on the phone to Sawadee they showed my husband another room overlooking the pool and it was better but by now were definitely not staying there. We didn t understand why it would take 3 tries to get the better room. We didn t stay there and found a much better place down the road. The pictures on the net look way better than the resort actually is.

About the hotel:
We were a group of 5 persons which stayed at Samui Park for 14 days...
And I have only good things to say about the hotel, nice peoples that works there, the cleaningladies, the people at the restaurant and the reception were all nice people. And they made our stay there to å trip we will remember.... The beach at the hotel is the only thing I can complain about, but we had Lamai beach nearby(10 min) walking...
Iwould highly reccomend this hotel for other people.

About the hotel:
It is actually a hotel with a lot of potential. They are renovating it, and that s really neccessary. At the moment it s noisy there. There is a new Management. Lets see what they ll change. Pool is very nice. Beach nice but not for swimming because of the corals. People are very friendly.

About the hotel:
Big clean room with all amenities, fridge, good a/c, mirrors. lights, hairdryer, TV, etc. All linen and towels changed daily. 2 bottles of water free per day, which is a trick they have learned from the dearer hotels. Bathroom OK, but hot water erratic, and no hot to sink, and no plug to sink, which my hubby says makes shaving impossible. Balcony disgusting, all mouldy and no furniture out there anyway, but this might be part of the ongoing refurbishment programme which is going on around you, but not really intrusive. Breakfast was very poor, but as the week went on it got better, you could have what ever you asked for, and the staff are all absolutely lovely, very helpful. Pool area lovely, sun beds/pool towels, view onto beach stunning. All very clean and nice.Parking and free internet available. all in all, I would thoroughly recommend and will use again. Excellent value for money.

First rate, all acknowledged without a hitch, e-voucher received etc. Taxi waiting at Airport as usual.

The staff was friendly, and the lobby was beautiful. we had booked the villas and they needed renovation, but they vere clean and large. the breakfast was OK
