This is my second visit to this resort. Again I only stayed one night as it is so convenient to the airport on Samui and for onward travel to Koh Phangan. The room I had was great as was the breakfast. Staff also very friendly and helpful,
Once again I found the Sawadee website very easy to use and very efficient,

Very original and spacious rooms, but the hotel has definitivt seen better days, very dark rooms, everything old and worn. Not good value. Very close to airport

Very close to airport (5mins) but thankfully no air traffic at night. Room was a little bit tired but air con was very effective and our room was right at the front only a metre or so back from the beach. The more expensive rooms did not appear to have sea views though
No problems

this is our 3rd visit.. brought my sister and bro this time as probably my last visit to the island... nara gardens has not changed at all past 10 years... as usual dead quiet this time of year and nobody else in hotel first week... great.. if you want action chaweng not far away... peaceful, right on the beach, very friendly staff (although what you order might not be what you get... good fun at breakfast), rooms adequate good beds, pool clean... for the price very good... close to airport so planes fly low overhead.. no problem though.. prefer short transfer when arriving/leaving.... rest of samui changing quickly but still a good visit... wishing nara gardens all the best ... geoff and maggie
tried to book thru asiahotels initially who emailed me to urge me to book quickly because hotel very busy....I don t think so!!... then remembered Sawadee and booked through them... very straightforward and no mess... rooms booked OK and xfers to and from airport sorted and waiting.... recommended and thanks again

Generally ok for the price except the bathrooms are in need of renovating. Service is very good although breakfast is poor. There are better hotels in the area for the same money.
No problems. Excellent

Too close to the Airport. Whenever a plane is arriving or departuring , you will hear a very loud noise. Poor breakfast. Staff had almost no english. Nice, big, clean rooms. Good swimming pool. 10 minuts from downtown. Good place, but not good the amount we payed...

Excellant hotel, very clean and tidy. Good size rooms, a minute walk from the beach which was very quiet and very clean. Take a taxi from the airport but don t pay more than 200bht. A great start to a fantastic holiday.
No fault at all it was reasurring to have our hotels booked and deposit s paid. We will use this again next year. Thank you

Fine. Bungalows were more beautiful than I expected. Restaurant service and staff in general were adequate, not particularly helpful.
Easy to use. Would use it again!

The hotel is VERY clouse to the airport but very nice and clean. The front desk staff is not knowing about weather, timetables or other things, but smiling as all Thais are. We will say that is not a hotel that we will come back to. But if you are in a hurry and need quick acces to the airport you will find this hotel perfect.
No problems with the booking

Nice and simple hotel away from the buzzling Samui Night life. The rooms are clean, pool is nice and the breakfast is great. Staff is very helpful and friendly. However, the hotel needs renovation. Cracks in the rooms and roten wood reelings notes years of neglet to the property. That should be taken care of, else the hotel will fall apart.
The airport transfer to the hotel for 400 Baht is outrageous! A cab to the airport from the hotel costs 150 Baht Max. Public Transport would get you there for 50 Baht. The ride to the hotel is no more than 10 min. If from downtwon bangkok to the Airport it costs around 250 Baht...how can one pay 400 Baht in Samui. That needs to be fixed! Otherwise service good.

Hotel was nice - reservation desk was very helpful and friendly. Check-in was fast. Service at restaurant/bar at the afternoon was very slow. Chairs at the pool and beach as well as the bathroom could get renovated.
booking service via agent was very smooth

This is a good place to stay on Koh Samui if you want to be away from the noise of places like Chaweng with it s crowded streets and nightlife. The hotel is clean and the staff are friendly and most of them can speak enough English to make themselves understood. The breakfasts may be limited and planes fly overhead during the day but apart from that there is nothing wrong with it. I would have no problems in staying there a 3rd time.

We ve stayed at Nara Garden several times and it remains a relaxed and peaceful oasis away from the crowds of an increasingly busy and commercial Samui. The staff are consistantly friendly, creating a fantastic atmosphere.
Have booked lots of accommodation through sawadee.com and find it consistantly reliable and excelllent value.

This was a very nice, quiet resort. There are plenty of shady areas to relax by the pool or on the beach. The rooms were a little dark but spacious. Because it is situated close to the airport, there is quite a bit of noise with planes landing but they don t start too early or end too late, and I even enjoyed watching them. The beach is ok and the water is very calm, nice to float around in, and the resort has showers as you come up off the beach to rinse off the salt.
Very easy and fast.

Clean hotel but staff at the bar and restaurant didn t understand enough english, even to understand simply orders. Breakfast was very boring like every day strawberry jam.

Have stayed here on several occasions now. This is a fantastic resort, quiet, private and in a lovely setting. The staff are all truely outstanding. They are attentive, welcoming and very friendly. This is the ideal antidote to the busy, noisy and mad Chaweng. I will be back.
