Hacienda Beach is nestled down in the northern coast of Samui, fringed by the sparking white sand and verdant green palm groves. Maenam Beach is usually much less crowded than Lamai, and not as noisy compared to Chaweng. Secluded with serenity, this is ideal for those seeking for the peaceful holiday, yet not too far from the fun if needed. Merely 10 minutes away from the nightlife scene, located nearby is also various small chic shops, restaurants, book stores, art shops, to name a few. The resort is a fine collection of tastefully designed chalets fully equipped with modern amenities and internet access. In-house facilities include beachfront restaurant and cocktail bar, car & motorbike rentals, and travel and tour advice.

При бронировании выбрали бунгало Garden View, которое чуть дальше от моря (на 50м, буквально через небольшую дорожку перейти), чем бунгало Seaside View за ту же цену. Но при этом Garden View больше размером и более уединённое – можно не закрывать занавески, не опасаясь при этом, что за тобой набюдают. В то время как мимо бунгал Seaside View постоянно ходили гости отеля.
Остались довольны и выбором бунгало и самим отелем. Бунгало удобное и красивое, с большой верандой. В номере кондиционер и вентилятор. Минус - кондиционер висит прямо над изголовием кровати, поэтому на ночь его приходилось выключать, иначе бы продуло. Убирались и меняли бельё каждый день, пока нас не было. До моря пол-минуты. У отеля свой отдельный пляж с лежаками и зонтиками. Пляж каждое утро убирается, чистится. Народу на пляже совсем нет. Купались каждое утро с 8 до 11 – кроме нас почти никогда никого не было. Удивительное ощущение, когда плаваешь в море один :)) Назойливых пляжных торговцев тоже очень мало. Позавтракать можно в кафе отеля прямо с видом на море. Еда приличная. Но мы предпочитали для разнообразия есть в других местах деревни, а на ужин ездили на другие пляжи. Пляж очень красивый – пальмы и жёлтый песок с мелкими камушками, который приятно массирует ноги, ходить совсем не больно. Напротив вид на соседний остров Phangan. Фото привезли буквально как с открытки! :)) Вход в воду хороший – песчаный и глубина нарастает довольно быстро, за счёт чего совсем не чувствовались отливы (как и везде на пляже Maenam, в отличие от других пляжей острова). Купались даже ночью. Волн совсем нет.
В целом Hacienda Beach - очень приятное хорошее место. Думаю больше подойдёт для тех, кто не любит весь день находиться в отеле, а предпочитает совмещать купание с поездками. Т.к. в деревне Maenam в общем-то делать нечего :))
Единственная сложность – пару лет назад у отеля сменились собственник и название. Под новым именем он пока мало известен таксистам и экскурсионным бюро. Лучше оперировать прошлым названием – MaenamBuri Resort. "

Welcome to. . . Hacienda Beach - Maenam Beach, Koh Samui.
Maenam bay is located at the centre of the North Coast Koh Samui near the main fresh water source on the island, skirted with sandy beaches and lush green palm groves and it offers spectacular views of Koh Pha Ngan to the North, and the Ang Thong National Marine Park to the East.

The warm quiet waters make it ideal for swimming and playing in safety
for all the family. The beach itself is Pha Ngan Island sheltered from
the wind and waves. It is narrow and sloping with warm and gently
lapping waves, here you can play in the water and on the beach. Maenam
is usually much less crowded than Lamai and not too noisy like Chaweng.
Maenam has a larger native community, than Chaweng or Lamai. If you are looking for relaxed holiday, Maenam Beach will be the best answer.
Local market, convenience stores, and temples this can be found along Main Street. Nowadays, Maenam is a venue of many small simple-but-artistic shops: restaurant, book stores, souvenir shops, and art shops.
