Villa La Kosta has been recently transformed in a beautiful holiday resort that keeps his intimate and comfortable aspect. The villa is located on an idyllic hillside, that offers breathtaking views of the natural tropical splendor and cooling sea-breezes in 12 spacious and comfortable guest rooms and suites. The rooms are all large and bright. Each one is decorated by an Italian designer who made every room unique using materials inspired by the island`s natural beauty.
The villa rebranded in February 2010 from Al Lacosta to Villa La Kosta.

About the hotel:
Unfortunately we only stayed at Ko Samui/Al Lacosta for 2 days. Al Lacosta is a peacefull and beautiful place and everything was better than one could hope for. Kitty the manager is a very nice and friendly person and gives you a topprofessional service (and she makes an excellent cooking!). The same you can expect from the entire staff. You will find a relaxed atmosphere and almost feel like being home. It was a stay we will remember, worth coming back to, what we absolutely will and for a longer stay. We strongly recomend Al Lacosta and its staff!

About the hotel:
I felt like I hit the jackpot with the Al Lacosta Villa. So beautiful and peaceful and Kitty and her staff all treated me like family. I couldn t have asked for a more relaxing visit to Samui and I will return!!!!!!!!

About the reservation service:
There was a glitch with my reservation and deposit going to another hotel, but the owner of Al Lacosta got it all worked out. I m glad I had e-mails from sawadee.com to confirm my reservation. Everything turned out great.

About the hotel:
it is really a good place to stay. kitty the manager is very kind and did all the cooking and other things so we felt really at home. it has a beautiful view and it has a relaxed atmosphere. rent a motorbike and you can go where ever you want to be. try it and you will like it.

About the hotel:
I was planning a special wedding anniversary celebration for my wife and found this hotel in the internet to be very unique. So I decided to book the honeymoon suite for our stay there. The resort was very beautiful with a quiet and peaceful environment. We really felt at home and Kitty and staff were very friendly. On our wedding anniversary night, Kitty prepared a delicious meal for us which my wife and I enjoyed very much. Her staff decorated our bed with petals of flowers and our room was so romantic. They had prepared a very romantic night for just two of us. My wife was so glad that I had chosen Al Lacosta and we will always remember our romantic night. We hope to return to Al Lacosta to enjoy the beautiful and peaceful environment which cannot find in any hotels in Koh Samui.

About the hotel:
This is the peaceful side of the island and this is as relaxing a place as you will find. The management team is very friendly and efficient. Lots of pleasant surprises. Like ordering dinner at breakfast - no menu - just what would you like for dinner and at what time ? Dinner is definately the best part of this hotel. You cannot walk away hungry. The hotel/rooms are not without their charm. Clean, open and airy. This place is not like a normal hotel. It s more like staying at your best friends house. 3 Star at best but I would rather stay here than a 5 Star in Chaweng. Not near the beach. Rental car a must.

About the hotel:
Situated away from the busy beaches, we found it very quiet and restful. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and we had only to ask for anything and it was cheerfully done for us, including transportation anywhere on the island! More like a bed and breakfast than a regular hotel, we had free use of the house, grounds and pool and could take any meals there we liked. We truly felt like guests. Our teenagers said It s like we live here and have lots of servants. I highly recommend Tenuta La Costa to anyone looking to enjoy Samui from off the beaten track. We enjoyed our stay immensely and would choose to stay there again if we returned to Samui.

About the hotel:
THE perfect place to stay if you don t want to be in the noisy, touristy areas. Tenuta La Costa is delightful. Its set in an area of coconut plantations and is isolated from almost everything. All you can hear is the wildlife. Mario (owner) and Kitty (hotel manager) are the two most hospitable people we have ever met - nothing is too much effort. We were dropped off and collected from the airport and also to/from town. The bungalow we stayed in was scrupulously clean, the mossie screens 100% effective and the hot water was hot. Everything worked as it was supposed to including the wireless internet - which stretched out to our bungalow. The cost of staying here is modest but the service/facilities and all other aspects are outstanding. I have no hesitation in recommending Tenuta La Costa to anyone including those with children - our son Jasper was doted upon from start to finish. Thanks Mario and Kitty.

Cottage Flower Suite
It is composed by two communicating rooms the ideal for groups or family.
A bit far from the main building and on the swimming pool it is the perfect place to stay relaxed.
(2 people - one king size bed in each room possibility to add a single bed for children).

Sunset Suite
The best condition to enjoy sunset view.
Soft colours that bright the external light, savie and private veranda with chaise longue.
Romantic and suggestive. (2 people - one king size bed in each room).

Superior Suite
A large room with a loft with another bed. The best accommodation for more than two people or a family.
A large panoramic veranda with chaise longue from where enjoying the sea breeze and jungle view.
(3-4 people one king size bed and one queen size bed).

Honeymoon Suite
Located on the top floor of the building it is the ideal place for honeymooning. Totally independent from the other rooms, with private access and private
veranda with chaise longue from which enjoying the best view from the villa. It is composed by a room with a king size bed and a smaller room
with queen size bed to chill out. The designer played with colours, pillows and mirrors to remind exotical atmospheres of passion.
