Ravi Rajapakse 2008-03-17 until 2008-03-21	Karon View Resort, Karon Beach I staed in this hotel from 17th to 21st March 2008. My comments on the hotel & its services are not positive at all. In fact there are lot of mosquios in the room & we had to take mosquito repelants to sleep in the room. The A/C was put to the maximun & there was no remote controler or control knob for that A/C unit. When complained they sent a totally unproffessional person to attend to the job who was one of the front office staff guys. There are no professional cleaning staff who knows about the subject. Rooms are very small & made of very cheap thin boards. In fact all the hotels do not offer the same rooms as shown in swadee.com , instead they have seperate set of low satandard rooms for those who come throught on-line booking. I have had the same issue with Agoda also.
ingemar tufvesson 2008-03-10 until 2008-03-18	Karon View Resort, Karon Beach We booked in at Karon View Resort not knowing anything about this hotel. Fortunately we were very happy with this choice. Very friendly personnel and very good service from all the staff. A ten minute walk to the beach and many shops to look at on the way. Our room was cleaned every day.It was worth the price which was very reasonable and we would not hesitate to return.	No problems at all. Everything worked perfectly and when we booked we received a reply straight away.
pekka pekkala 2008-03-03 until 2008-03-05	Karon View Resort, Karon Beach 1400 BHT for a night was quite expenive in my opinion. Across the street I was offered a room for less and a bit further on half price. And the room were better or equal plus had television and an aircon that you can adjust between off/supercold. If you can manage without breakfast in the hotel (there are dozens of places offering breakfast) and pool I would recommend to book somewhere else.

Basic small rooms, clean, nothing special but still ok (stayed in a bungalow ). Most of the staff were nice but not very good at English. Expensive laundryservice!	Great!

Very simple and boring room and in the bathroom the water from the shower ran all over the floor. The staff was very nice and tried to help us as much as they could.

Very friendly and warm. The room was simple & adequately comfortable, and the hotel situated very conveniently. The restaurant very nice and the food sumptuous.	Quite a convenience to use!

Really though with all of southern Thailand to choose from, this area is the worst by far - far too commercialised.	Sawadee service was very good.

Good breakfast (ABF) included. However cannot at this moment recommend this particular room, no 1220, as the bathroom not working properly with a very bad sewer both in toilet and shower. Plus aircon very noisy and not adjustable.	excellent bookingservice with quick replies

We were staying on Christmas time and have to say that it was very cheap comparing to other hotels in Karon Beach. Location was excellent. Only like 300 meters from the beach. Staff was nice and helpful. Room was a little small, but comfortable. Lot of mosquitos in hotel rooms. I suggest to get repellent from store. It will help.	Very easy to book and fast response for any questions!

Zara Henderson 2007-03-28 until 2007-04-01	Karon View Resort, Karon Beach The staff at this hotel are exceptional. we cannot praise them enough. however, the hotel itself is more like a backpackers. The standard rooms are very simple. No tv, our air conditioner was not very cooling and the shower was just a dribble.The hotel is in a good position, close to shops and to the beach. If you are going to stay here book an upgraded room.	as always...very efficient!

Robert Martin 2006-11-05 until 2006-11-17	Karon View Resort, Karon Beach We were given room1205 on arrival and after the initial shock we stayed there for 1 night. There was absolutely nothing about that room that made us want to stay any longer than 1 night and we were ready to count our losses and move to another hotel. After numerous showings of other rooms we decided that we would stay in a bungalow which is basically a similar room on ground level, next to the pool. We lost our hot water supply for three days and had to go to another room for showers/shaving, etc which was a bit of a pain. The staff were great at all levels and cannot be faulted in any way. Friendly and always wanting to do their best for guests. Breakfast was always an adventure thanks to the language barrier-we don t speak Thai and the staff, whilst speaking English, missed some our requests, things like Marmalde in place of jam, milk instead of Coffee Mate but it didn t matter too much in the end. We enjoyed ourselves tanks to such friendly staff but our next visit to Karon will be to another hotel with more facilities. If you are looking for clean, basic rooms then this hotel will suit you. If you want a few creature comforts you may have to spend a bit more. We booked this hotel on the strength of a couple of reviews, their website pictures and a given 3 star rating. The 3 star rating is more than generous-I would say it is 2 star at best. Roberts Bar nearby is a pain-loud music until the early hours (4am) can keep you awake.	No problems.

Breakfast in the morning was great. The hotel is situated ina nice little ally close to all amenities but away from the noise. Excellent Stay.	Excellent

The staff are really friendly and helpful. I booked for 1 week and have stayed for longer. It is also close to the beach and shops.	No problem.

A clean and quite hotel 2-3 min. walk from the beach. Friendly staff and good breakfast.	I can recommend my best freind!
