About the hotel: The hotel and pool were great. Only complaint is getting on-line. They advertize wifi - and it only intermittantly works. 3 of the 4 computers in the restaurant don t work. They were broken during my last visit 2 years ago! If you don t need to get online much - this is a good place to stay.
About the reservation service: Sawadee is a great way to book - never a problem.
About the hotel: Booked two rooms, stayed 3 nights with a group of friends (3guys & 3girls) few days ago. Room size is OK for 3 person in each room, bed a little hard but clean enough, no amenities in bathroom but there s hot shower. A small pool but the water is milky. Quiet location with a min walk to the nightlife, shopping and restaurants, 5mins to the beach.
Hotel reception and people around are friendly, but 2 weird incidents on the 1st day we checked in, the guys were being told to stay on the 2nd floor while my female friends were told to stay on the 3rd floor, I don t know why!! And 10mins after we settled down, we (the guys) were told to change to the room next door, the staff said they have given us tthe wrong room.. (I don t see any difference between this two rooms)..
Other than this experience, It was a nice pleasant stay. Recconmend for those who just need a room to sleep in, value for money.

About the hotel: We were 2 couples and stayed for 3 nights at the Expat Hotel.Although, the hotel was in the midst of renovations, our stay was not affected by the work.It is a small,quaint place & very peaceful, especially, when it is situated so close to Soi Bangla.We enjoyed our stay and the food.The decor is very villa like & cheerful. Very non-intrusive.
However, the service at the reception was not good.The receptionist was reluctant to take the payment by credit card and gave all sorts of silly excuses.She was also rude at time.She did not check the rooms on time to ascertain the charges for the mini bar and at the last moment asked us to pay for it BY CASH!!She went on to suggest that we take the money from the taxi driver and later pay him.But, we did not want any such complications and after a lot of insistence she agreed to let me pay by credit card.
Otherwise our stay was pleasant & inspite of this incident I would recommend this place to all tourists.Thanks you!

We like the hotell very much, peace and quiet.There was a little trubble when we comes whit wrong rooms and some other small problems. But after that we have a lovely time. The hotels locations is perfekt. Close to everything.I can recomend it!!

About the hotel: The Expat Hotel is a great hotel. I stayed in the Super Deluxe room which was large, clean and well equiped with a nice tv, air-con, wet room shower and a nice bed. Staff were very friendly and polite. Located was brilliant being right next to Bangla Road but was far enough to not be kept awake by the music. Will certainly visit again.

About the hotel: Excellent location for nightlife, shopping and generally taking it easy. Staff at reception & coffee shop were extremely pleasant and organised. Can\ t wait to get back there.
About the hotel: This is a smashing little hotel that is both convenient for the centre of town and far enough up a side street to be quiet and relaxed. Staff are fantastic, the rooms clean and tidy along with the pool. I couldn t fault it and will be booking again for my next trip.
