Thip Residence, is a new Boutique Hotel, situated in the most scenic part of Krabi, which is known as Ao Nammao , near Aonang and Railay.
We provide 22 rooms which are deluxe and superior rooms, both have seaview or garden view. All room are air conditioned and fully furnished. We have 10 Deluxe room (6 Seaview and 4 gardenview) 12 Superior rooms (6 Seaview and 6 garden view).
About the hotel: Positive:
The owner is very thoughtful and kind, free bike to use for tour nearby. Nice and easy during our 6 nights stay. Great pool, great food, convenient transportation. Room is clean and tidy, well equipped with mini bar, Vi-Fi internet access.
Negative:
Something upset:laundry took 3 days to come back and ruined one white shirt completely. Guests can actually take all the laundry items to town, can be collected within three hours, only cost TB40-60/kg.
About the hotel: the hotel was lovely, very clean, calm and with friendly and very helpful staff. one and only disadvantage: the hotel is not laying closed to the beach, what I ve been thinking because of the ocean view. the beach is 5 km far...

About the hotel: The Thip Residence has a good location away from Ao Nang it s about 5-6 km on a bus in to Ao Nang. We really liked the hotel and the owner s and the staff. They had really good food in their own resturant.
We would book a room here again if we are passing by.

Garden / pool was not ready (no info about this when we booked), since the beach is not useful for swimming this really take down the average rating of the hotel. have to take a tuk-tuk to Ao Nang for swimming or boat to East ray lee.
About the hotel: Perfect hotel. Thip Residence exceeded our expectaions in every aspect. The rooms were big, spacious, and spotlessly clean. The Mini bar was adequately stocked and was very cheap (only 40 Bhat for a can of beer). The rooms are tastefully done (Kohler bathroom fittings, soft lighting, balcony, flatscreen TV etc) and worth more than what you are paying for. Ju, the hotel manager and her staff went beyond their way to help us and make us feel at home. The Jasmine Rice, in house hotel was were we enjoyed our meals the most, more than the other hotels at Ao Nang. Excellent breakfast menu options. Would definetely stay at Thip Residence when we next visit Krabi.

About the hotel: No ability to swim close to the hotel! The beach close to the hotel is polluted from e nearby fish-farm, to get to a beach where you can swim you have to first cross the road, walk for a bit in dirty sand and then (during low tide) walk in really unpleasant mud. After that, a trip whit longtaile boat for about 15min, then you arrive to a really unpleasant beach where you have to walk a long way in a black, sticky soft mud filled whit small crabs and other insects. Then you have cross the land by foot to get to the other side (railley west) just a 10 walk, but not a nice aria. The hotel is far from everything and all the taxis had a hard time to find it. IMPORTANT to bring one of the “for taxi” notes you can get from the hotel. The food in the restaurant was not good. Between the hotel and the sea (no beach) is a trafficked road and some industrial buildings. No pool, but they were building one. But the rooms are great, really big, clean, high standard, beautiful, free WiFi. We liked the rooms but checked out sooner than paid for, due to lack of swinging possibilities and bad location.
About the hotel: Great Hotel with great staff... Room was absolutely clean, and furnished lovely. Three bottles of water from mini bar a day are already included. The restaurant delicious...
If we ll get back to Ao Namao we ll stay there again...

About the hotel: Ett mycket trevligt och fint hotell. Trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Hotellet hade en egen restaurang med mycket god mat.
Ett par hundra meter från hotellet avgick longtailbåtar till Railey. Stranden i nam mao är ingen bra badstrand utan åk istället väg med båt. Knappt några restauranger eller affärer i Nam mao men enkelt att ta en taxi eller buss in till Ao nang.
About the reservation service: Inga problem med bokningen. Bokade även taxi från flyget vilket inte var dyrare än att köpa resan på plats.

There are so many activities in Krabi area starting from the nearest
among our hotel , well known for its world famous rock climbing in Rai
Lay, Horse riding on Ao Nammao beach , value sight seeing at Krabi
Coastal Fishery and Development Center and shell Fossil beach. Other
popular tours including Phi Phi Island, Hong Island, Unseen Sand bank,
elephant trekking, sea kayak, emerald pool, hot water spring and more
are also could be arranged by our hotel.
Our guests
like to live a bit separated from the typical tourists place in a real
Thai ambience but at least close enough to enjoy all other options if
wanted. Our location is 3 km to shell fossil , 5km from Ao Nang, and
15 km from Krabi town, which can be reached from the hotel by a local
bus (song - taew) ,taxi, tuck tuck or motorbike. Krabi International
airport is 30 km away which can be reached by a taxi or an airport bus.
Our hotel is located directly on the seaside just separated by the road,
some hundred meters from Ao Nammao pier, the local exit point for the
well known long tail boats sailing to Rai Lay(15 minutes) and other
access to the worlds most beautiful white sand beaches islands such
as Hong Island, Chicken Island ,sand bank and many others close by.
