Koh Kwang Resort is the small family run resort. A peaceful place and away from crowd. The bungalows sit in lush natural garden with views of surrounding hillside. We offer 5 different rooms types to choose from, all with air-condition exept our 2 fan rooms.
All bungalows are are ocated across the road, just 1 minute from the beach.
About the hotel: This is a budget hotel and good value for the money. Matthew and Sea looked after us very well and cooked us good breakfasts. Our room was small and basic but comfortable and clean.Only one electric socket and that is behind the TV. Koh Kwang is a bit out of the way and you need transport to get to Ao Nang, the nearest town. It would be quiet if the lorries were not chugging up and down but that does stop at night. Very close to the beach (just cross the road). There are no English speaking programmes on the TV in the rooms unless you count about 40 mins of the news in English every morning! Matthew and Sea will cook dinner for you and there are several places to eat that are very close. They will also book any excursions or arrange car/motor scooter hire.

About the hotel: A very friendly hotel and a nice area but the huts are very basic but set in a nice garden. The loudspeaker calling people to prayer is annoying especially at 5.30am. Breakfast could be better. You need to like eggs.
About the hotel: The hotel was clean and nice, Cold showers mean it s best to shower in the afternoon as the sun is going down. Very pretty area, good food, good prices and Matt and Si were very nice and helpful people.
Very close to the beach and Koh Kwang town.
Scooter hire on site, the scooter was brand new and better than the others in the area at a very reasonable price.
I strongly recommend this hotel.

About the hotel: The hotel was good.It was a little bungalow.2 minutes to the beach easy to get a longtailboat.
Breakfast was very bad but the staff was good and helpful.

About the hotel: the resort is better than I expected. A bit remote from Ao Nang but it pays to rent a scooter and make the distance 15 km with 20 minutes, although there are number of nice as well around the resort.

About the hotel: We enjoyed this family run resort very much. The food was very good. The owner and the staff were very friendly and the Thai hospitality was great at this resort. Matthew, the owner, gave us great tips on the places to visit. We had a great time exploring the area on our rented motorcycle. We loved the little chalet that we stayed in.The beach was very near to the resort and there was a a great jamaican bar on the beachfront. Overall, it was an excellent and enjoyable trip. I would recommend this resort and we would definitely stay there again on our next trip.
About the reservation service: We had no problem with the efficiency of the booking service as well as the transfers to and from the resort. Everything was carried out smoothly and we didnt have to worry once we touched down at Krabi airport.
