Mango Bay Grand Resort is one of the most secluded places on the island of Ko Tao or Turtle Island. The bay is full of colorful fishes, coral reefs and granite rocks reaching from the mountains down into the sea, forming an unusual underwater world. It`s an ideal and safe place for snorkelers of all ages.
All our bungalows are located on the shady hillside, hidden in the jungle. At Mango Bay you can still find huge old trees and we try to maintain the natural surrounding to protect the nature. We offer fan rooms for the budget travelers and three different kinds of air-conditioned bungalows. Seaview Fan and Seaview AC rooms are similar, all have a double bed, wardrobe, dressing table and bathroom with hot shower (about 25 sqm).
About the hotel: The resort is really wonderful! It s far away from the town center, but this makes quite quiet. Mango Bay is a great place for snorkeling or diving, because the world under the water here is wonderful, and you can easily be in this world just walking down from the Mango Bay Grand Resort.
About the hotel: Amongst the business of the majority of beaches on ko tao, this is a gem. Food is very good, the service is good and the facility is remote. In many ways we were pleased with how removed it was and the struggles with power were annoying at times...this is thailand.
About the hotel: 酒店比08年有了一点的变化，部分设施做了翻新，老板好像换了，服务态度还是很好的，就是不像原来那样大度了，很多东西要收费，但是商量一下还是可以免费提供给客人的。房间还是可以接受的，毕竟是个偏远的mango bay，资源还是有限的。与08年不同的就是厨师的手艺和菜单花样有很大提高，味道很好，价格也还是可以接受的。海域的景色依旧，水下的景观依旧那么美妙，很多的鱼、活的珊瑚礁。不足的地方就是在码头免费接人的船总是不守时，我观察了一下，基本上比规定的出发时间要晚上一个小时，不过也就无所谓了，来这里又不是赶时间来的，就是来懒散休闲的，也就不计较了。总体来说还是很不错，有喜欢与世隔绝的朋友选择这里是明智的，绝对修心养性。希望还能回来！谢谢酒店所有的员工，尤其会说中文的小伙子，非常热情！

About the hotel: Mango Bay is an idillic location. The resort is well run and family owned. The whole vibe of the place is relaxing and welcoming. You can dive almost from your bunglaow in to beautiful fish filled bright blue waters. If you enjoy snorkelling, scuba diving or just peace and quiet this place is the best!
About the hotel: The perfect location to go for snorkeling, room was clean and tidy, although we thought it was a little over priced for what you get. Would not of wanted to stay for more than the 2 nights we did as there is nothing else to do and no easy way to get into town - especially at night.
About the reservation service: Booking was easy and staff very helpfull
About the hotel: Lovely scenery and that is about it. The owner is a nice guy who has put his heart and soul into the place over the last 15 years, but Mango Bay still lacks many basic amenities that would be expected be Western travelers. If you don t expect to leave the resort during your stay and you re looking for an extremely remote location this could be a good spot. It is extremely difficult to reach by car and requires climbing many stairs.

Transfer
The resort can only be reached by boat, scheduled transfer 2 times daily and free of charge
- Departure from Mae Haad pier: 10:30 hrs and 15:00 or 15:30 hrs
- Departure from Mango Bay Grand Resort: 8:00 hrs and 12:00 hrs
However in case of strong wind (Dec - Jan only) the transfer will be arranged by jeep and includes
a walk for about 10min downhill from the parking of the resort Please advise your arrival time at least 48 hrs before arrival! In case you cannot find the
driver, please contact the "Dive Point" about 20 meters from Lompraya pier
Electricity is available from 6pm to 10.00am
Extra bed is mattress 500 Baht and 100 Baht for child 1-11 year old (including breakfast)

wood, equipped with a fully tiled bathroom with western toilet, hot
