Camilla Maria Strandberg 2008-04-27 until 2008-05-04	Koh Chang Kacha Resort and Spa, White Sand Beach Perfect hotel right on the nice White Sand Beach! I have been travelling a lot in Thailand and this is by far the nicest place I have stayed in for my kind of budget. We had a good deal at sawadee.com for a deluxe main building room. The room was very clean and welmaintained. Unfortunately we had the view of another building right in front of the balcony, so maybe I would ask for 3rd floor next time. But we just walked 20 steps down to the nice restaurant on the beach and watched the sunset from there instead. The poolarea was lovely! All in all a super nice hotel, especially for familys with kids!	As always very easy and well working!
Anders Karlsson 2008-04-20 until 2008-05-01	Koh Chang Kacha Resort and Spa, White Sand Beach Very good hotel in every way - we stayed in the Deluxe building, and the rooms were clean and fresh with excellent air conditioning - and the surroundings were delightfully quiet. Staff was friendly and helpful, even though the level of english could be improved somewhat. The pool and poolarea was great - clean and wellkept. Unfortunate with the typical scandinavian/european tradition of booking sunchairs at 6 a.m., but that is not the fault of the hotel in any way. Restaurant is good - food a bit bland at times, but that is probably just an adjustment to western tourist tastebuds. We definitely recommend this hotel to fellow travellers!!	Booking service worked great!! We will definitely use again...

Mycket nära till havet, så man kan simma i havet och poolen om vartannat. Bra standard på rummen. Nära till shopping. Vi rekommenderar även ett besök i hamnstaden Bang Bao för ännu mer shopping och även sea-food restauranger. Vi tog även ett par nätter på Koh Maak, mysigt. Det går aldeles utmärkt att boka direkt på plats (om det inte är någon stor helg, så att det är fullbokat). Vi var där över deras nyårsfirande (Songkran), ganska kul i början men lite jobbigt då de höll på i fyra dagar med att kasta vatten på folk. Det gick inte ens att åka taxi utan att bli genomblöt.	Vi bokade via nätet och det fungerade alldeles utmärkt.

White Sand is the beach offering the most variety in shopping, restaurant and bars and it is still a very small and relaxed place compared to the typical Thai vacation places. The resort offer the bext pool area at the beach, good but somewhat pricy restaturant and very clean and good standard rooms. If you are not on a tight budget a good stay.	Excellent

Nicola Whiteman 2008-02-18 until 2008-02-22	Koh Chang Kacha Resort and Spa, White Sand Beach The resort was great, couldn t really fault anything........except the fact you had to get up at 7am to get a sunbed was a pain!!! Luckily we had a seaview bungalow which we near the pool. The breakfast was good and the people really friendly. There wasn t much of a beach as the sea came right up to the resort decking...but the sunsets were fantastic.	I always book with Sawadee as they are really great and easy to use. Takes the hassel out of booking your holiday accommodation.

Contrary to other reports we did not find the area noisy even though we stayed in the main building backing onto the street in high season. Room was clean, well serviced and spacious. Restaurant was as good as any others along the beach and breakfast was plentiful although predictable. Staff courteous and always smiling and helpful.Would definitely recommend this resort	Everything went smoothly and perfectly as usual

Ac maskin wasVERY noisy and was outside the wall with the bed, so we couldent sleep good, i said that to the reception personal but they dident do anything.

The staff in reception is 100 % nice and give exellent service. The roomcleaning was perfect and almost everyday you get suprice by some nice thing in the room with thing dones by your towels etc. I have send email to Frontoffice Manager Khun Dream about big surprice for my girl..The hotel have full up the room with flowers, fruit, champagne and a lot off other nice things for cheap money. They also prepare bodytreatment in the wellness area and a nice dinner in the afternoon. So if you want to stay in paradis then take to Koh Chang is a wonderfull iceland and this hotel is a perfect base. The breakfast menu is perfect. The service in the restaurant for dinner is not always perfect - But the receptionstaff take good care if you complain about something. Use savdee.com and get good prices. Happy new year. The personel are very kind and solved all our questions, we booked trips and vans through the hotel and it worked out perfect. I can recommend this hotel to everyone.	Fast answers and easy to talk to over the phone.

You can even get a pool towel at 18.00 where as at another hotel I stayed in at White Sand Beach you could not get one at 09.30, All gone, all gone!	As usual, no problems.

The staff are really friendly and very helpful and will do anything for you. The pool area is lovely but i would recommend that if you want to use the beach just walk up a few yards on front of the Kacha Restraunt where there is no rocks in the water. On all my visits to Thailand this is my favourite Resort and perfect for familys.	The service from Sawadee is 100% perfect as always

Best vacation we have had for years	Perfect booking service. At first we had booked another hotel, but the swimmingpool were under renovation. No problem when we asked for another hotel with swimmingpool.
Susann Quoos 2007-07-18 until 2007-07-23	Koh Chang Kacha Resort and Spa, White Sand Beach Nice Hotel and well located. Staff was friendly. Breakfast buffet offered quite some varieties of food. The food at the restaurant is also not too bad from both the taste as well as the prices.The beach just in front of the resort was not so nice but just a few steps away you had all the White Sand Beach. We stayed in 2 Seaview Deluxe Rooms in the newer building - rooms were excellent. If we ever to back to Koh Chang we most likely will stay there again.	2nd time to use Sawadee and everything went very well and without any troubles.So will always come back to Sawadee.

Location is very convenient since it is right on beach. Employees not so nice and not so helpful if compare with another hote. The food in restaurant is very expensive. Room is clean. The pool is very busy and the beach is very dirty.

John Dunbar 2007-06-18 until 2007-06-20	Koh Chang Kacha Resort and Spa, White Sand Beach Well where do I begin! with the positive, the room was decorated veary nicely, hardwood floors were superb! The linens were so soft I wanted to buy them all. Loads of storage and drawers - you could stay for a month. Now on to the reception staff - very rude. When I checked in it was like they were doing me a favour - I asked for a quiet room and they guy said well you booked a standard room so what do you expect, it may be noisy - and it was. The reception staff continued to be rude throuhout my stay there. The air conditioner was very noisy and the faucent in the sink was just hanging there. I called reception asking to have it fixed, they sent up a guy, he tracked dirt all over the room, stuck a piece of rolled up paper behind the AC unit and proped up the faucet - of course as soon as he left the faucet fell and the AC made the same noise. I spoke with reception about this and they just laughed at me. So I went back up and with my travelling screw driver fixed the AC in 15 minutes. The smell in the bathroom was really bad, like living in a sewer, there was no P trap on the sink or the floor drain - but then I have stayed at 5 stars in Thailand and have the same problem, clearly they dont have any P traps to use here, or like the sewer smell??? Breakfast was adequate but no real fruit juice just the sugar stuff out of the big dispenser. Pool spectacular and the beach was very nice. I spoke with the Manager about this so maybe one day they will make some changes.	excellent, will use again

Breakfast was good. The only negative thing was the the service which were OK but the staff could be a bit more charming and not so arrogant as some of them were. It was not the friendly and nice treatment one has got used to in Thailand. Pool was great. We can recommend this hotel to others.	Very good and helpful as some in our party had to cancel bookings. Will use the site again.

Even if we had an extra bed in our room it was spacious. Nice and big balcony. The room was very nice over all but we especially liked the big bathroom with separate shower and bathtub. Very helpful staff. The resort is beautifully situated on the beach. Nice restaurant, but there are better places nearby. Very nice pool area. The children loved it, and so did we adults. I could certainly recommend this resort to families traveling with children and we will return if we ever should come back to Koh Chang again.	Perfect!

Breakfast are very satifying with a large amount of option for cold meal, hot meals, friut and bread. Pool area looks OK in the pictures, but are in fact much, much better with good cleaniness, good service and high quality sun chairs. And of cause a beautiful beach wit nice and clean water. A hotel to recommend to your best friends.	Smooth and fast. Very good.

Large clean and nice room with a lovely balcony facing the sea (2:nd floor). The pool was large and nice situated next to beach. Nice restaurants close by. Beach not as good as other places in Thanland (tide and narrow) but fair. Had two small children with us who loved the pool area. Would absolutely stay here again.	As always good and fast service. Helped us out with alternatives since most hotels were fully booked.

The beach is marginal at high water but the look and feel is nice and the beach white sand was nice in novemeber.( Recommend very much also the very introvert restaurant next door SEA BAR for dinner or lunch try the pad thai). The pool is one of the best on White sand beach. The room was large and nice, Breakfast was very good. Good location on white sand beach. The maid service was fenomenal. One day she had made a amazing work of art of the towels,a napkin an a few flowers, Extraordinary effort. maybe 40 Bath tip helped. Best 40 bath ever spent. Makes any holiday totally surreal!!. Would definitely reommend this hotel!. The towel thing was just an amazing thing to remeber.	worked without a hitch as usual

Uri Sela 2006-10-01 until 2006-10-07	Koh Chang Kacha Resort and Spa, White Sand Beach we had a very bad experience with the kacha resort. it started with the check-in, when they let us know that the swimming pool is demmaged and will be out of order for 2 weeks!!!, after 2 days they let us use another hotel pool, which was small and smelly, and 400 meters walking from the hotel. every time it was raining, we had a lake to cross to enter our room. the pathway to the room was dark and dengerous. every service request took a very long time (few hours). I would not recommend this hotel as it suppose to be a 4 or 5 stars but is acts like 2.	very smooth, very good.
Hanro 2006-08-14 until 2006-08-18	Koh Chang Kacha Resort and Spa, White Sand Beach We stayed in a deluxe room. The building has three floors and I would definately recommend the third floor. It has a lovely view of the ocean! Further, the rooms are exceptional. The resort has a lovely pool and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is also of a very high standard. I would definately recommend this resort.	This is a very efficient service.

Took deluxe room as older accommodation not so good - comment from friend. Very nice room, clean, roomy - even with extra bed. Staff helpful and friendly (can t see what previous people had to complain about - the staff understood my requests ok!). Breakfast buffet style - Asian and European cuisine. Swimming pool was also very nice and looked onto beach. Some guests, sadly, encouraged local dog into restaurant area which didn t suit everyone. Booked return minibus to airport at hotel which was easy and cheap.	Everything ran smoothly.

The hotel area is clean and comfortable and the pool is large. The hotel is located on a nice beach and the restaurant has great views to the sea. There are also other nice and affordable restaurants close to the hotel. Service at the hotel is very good and we absolutely enjoyed our stay.	Very good and reliable booking service.

Hotel staff was nice and very helpfull, and there was always english speaking people in reception. Breakfest was nice, but besides that, the restaurant was poor. They really boil the steaks ??, and food was never served at the same time, and it was low season...i cant imagine what it s like in high season; but there is good restaurant s in the area. If we ever go back to koh chang, we would stay there again.	Woorked perfect.
Tom Mayehara 2006-05-23 until 2006-05-26	Koh Chang Kacha Resort and Spa, White Sand Beach Located towards the south end of the White Sand Beach..(don t know why they call it that, didn t see any white sand on the beach)..after reading other reviews on this page, decided to stay in the deluxe room on the 2nd floor of the new building, which was quite nice, especially for the price. The building faced downtown White Sand Beach main road but both the town and the room was very quiet for restful nights. Best thing about the room was the bathroom, air-conditioner, and the balcony that faced the beach and the swimming pool. Few curtin hooks were missing and the door hinge on refrigerator cabinet was missing but really cannot complain about the room...very nice room for the price. The best thing about this hotel is the swimming pool, its fantastic, great for kids as well. Breakfast was ok but the dining area could use some fresh paint. We were bothered by a couple of dogs in the dining area. Nice dogs but brought in additional flies. Staff at the check in counter were all friendly and helpful but we were given mostly silent treatment from the staff in the dining area, maybe because they didn t speak much English, and they took away breakfast immediately after 10am. Oodies in town has a decent guitar player but plays mostly old rock music and again we were bothered by another pair of dogs in the restaurant there. Subay Bar has the only action in town. This is a nice quiet little town and I would difinitely recommend this hotel to anyone, but if you don t care for eating with the dogs, maybe you should avoid this place.	had to wait 24hours for confirmation but otherwise no problem
Christian Gnosspelius 2006-04-17 until 2006-04-20	Koh Chang Kacha Resort and Spa, White Sand Beach Koh Chang Kacha is an excellent resort for the family. The pool area is really great, fantastic view and something for everyone. We stayed there for three nights, 2 adults and a one-year old baby. Our baby loved the children’s pool and also the baby elephants using their trunks as waterfalls. We were lucky to stay there in the end of the high season, which means no pool race, and plenty of space everywhere. Our room was a “Superior Villa”, the top floor of one of the two-storey bungalows. The room was ok, some initial problems with the bathroom but they fixed it within an hour. Breakfast buffet was good, with both Thai and western dishes to choose from. The restaurant was ok too, but there are so many other places along the beach so take a nice walk and pick the perfect place. The staff was always very friendly and attentive, although sometimes forgetting things. This is a very professionally run resort and we would give it a 9 out of 10. If you are travelling with children this is definitely the place to stay in White Sand Beach.	Sawadee was always very helpful despite of our many changes in the reservation. There were no problems checking in with the pre-paid voucher. Don’t forget to bring a printout of the e-voucher they send you, though. If not you will probably have to take a walk across the street to the nearest internet café…
Louise Chan 2006-04-14 until 2006-04-18	Koh Chang Kacha Resort and Spa, White Sand Beach We booked the Deluxe building, which is pretty pricy compare among the other hotels, but it was good. It is a newly built complex and it is spacious, some of the details of the room still need to touch up thou. However think it could be better if it is not charge on the peak season price. The swimming pool is great but still need more sunbeds... The hotel is one of the best locations if you would like convenience and action. Restuarnt food quality is good and cheap as of in the hotel, but a few steps away also offer of other food store which offer very good food in cheaper prices. The Spa there is good as they are doing a promotion. Hotel Service is prompt but they miss out the privacy and Make Up Room tag so they lock the room at the wrong time for the clearing up. Overall i have a wonderful stay and i think i will go there again. :)	Serivces is prompt and quick and cheaper than the hotel. Sawadee always good anyway! The booking system of the hotel is not very good thou they tried and help. I already feedback to the hotel.

The restaurang was okey. The thaifood was really good but the farang-food was not that good. Nice staff. I absolutly recomend Kacha.	Easy and Reliable.

Specious rooms in main building with a big luxurous bathroom. The hotels pool-area huge and well visited. The sea is just 5 steps from the pool! Poolstowels for free. Restaurant and food OK - but you will find so many other nice restaurants nearby wich are worth to try. Over-all I should certainly go back there and that´s why I also can recommend the place to You. Hotel rooms newer than some of the bungalows, and the view is good from rooms i 2. and 3. floor.	No problems when booking at sawadee.com!
Peter Selemark 2006-02-18 until 2006-02-25	Koh Chang Kacha Resort and Spa, White Sand Beach We stayed in a Beach Front Villa which was niceley located by the beach aprox 20 meters from the new pool area. The villa was ok but will need to be renovated shortly; very noisy AC and pump for the sewage outside the house. It appears as if it has grow quickly and not all parts has been able to keep up; the water supply and AC equipment. The new wing incl the pool was very nice but packed with charter tourist; including the moorning towel race at 08.00 to secure a nice seat by the pool. If you can live with plastic ones you can wait until 10.00 :)	No worries...as always

We have order a superior bungalow, but it had been some problems with it. So we was upgraded to a de luxe room. The room and bathroom was super. The poolarea was very good. Except for the other tourist who has booked the sunchairs early in the morning. Maybe six a cloock. It´s a pity that the staf is so kind. They should remove the towels from the chairs. Other wise the staf was very helpful and the breakfast was very good. I will certanly recomend this hotel. And if I come back to Koh Chang I will stay at this hotel again.	Veru good and quick answers. We will use it again.

Its some sort of bungalow huts. The water was finish three or four times a day. The breakfast vas very good. The beach is very nice and also the swimmingpool, but the poolchair was occupied alredy at 9.00 in the morning.	Very good. But please Sawadee, make sure that your guest realy get twinbeds if they have ordered this.

The restaurant is good and the view is amazing. However, the rooms we ve tried were of different quality: some were ok but noisy, others had a persistent awful smell.	No major problem but we didn t get the twin rooms as requested for our first night.
Thomas Robin 2005-10-29 until 2005-11-01	Koh Chang Kacha Resort and Spa, White Sand Beach Very nice resort. Pool fantastic which it needed to be as the beach was poor. Clientele mostly German so it s the usual towels and loungers affair. Good accommodation and mostly quiet unless you have a downstairs bungalow with someone else above. Spacious and clean. Heat and power from the shower poor but this is a Thai island bungalow so expected. Location is good for amenities and pier but sure better parts for good beach. Nightlife best reached with a scooter.	Good price through sawadee. Nearly twice as much through resort in person. Service competant, reliable and at a good price. Couldn t ask for more.
Cheng Kian Hong 2005-10-24 until 2005-10-27	Koh Chang Kacha Resort and Spa, White Sand Beach Firstly, we have to wait for 30 minutes for our room after check in due to power failure. Then we were given a lousy room in the even though the staff knew about the room condition. The room s shower was not working. The toilet bowl make lots of noises. The a/c was leaking. The room s telephone have bad connection. The hair dryer s power point sparks fire. After several complaints, the staff was kind enough to upgrade us to a deluxe room. It was a brand new room, everything was fine except the water supply was cut from time to time. During our stayed (24-27 Oct), the pool surounding was noisy & messy due to new bungalors construction. Overall, it was a pleasant stay. An ok place if you only need a room & pool as the resort don t have other facility. No gym, sauna etc.	Good & efficient! Though I would suggest sawadee.com to mail the invoice/receipt to customer right after the payment got through. Or on the last day the customer check out the hotel. As some customer may need the invoice for travelling claim etc. As hotel do not issue invoice/reciept when customer book via online agent.
