Holiday Inn Resort Regent Beach located close to the Cha am where Hua Hin Night Markets and golf courses within 40 minutes drive. The resort vicinity is only 5 minutes walk to a nice small village with selection of restaurants and shops.
Recreational facilities are available in the form of 2 swimming pools with kids pool, an outdoor Jacuzzi, tennis courts, squash courts, table tennis, snooker room, bicycling, etc.
About the hotel: The staf in service facilities are kind but they did not give a personal service. They smile but do´nt do the little extra which would be expected in a 4-stars hotel
About the reservation service: I have special asked many times for a room WITH sea view, without palms to take the sight. The hotel has not been contacted about our wishes and we changed room 3 times when we arrived before we get a satisfacty room.
About the hotel: Very nice hotel, pool and beach but with only a few sun chairs? which is a petty as the beach is really perfect!
Minor issues:
Breakfast buffet was super nice, but yoy have to stand in line to get a table and the person who is in charge of this is in total lack of organisation skills;-(
If you go here, you should visit the small village only 5 mins. walk from the hotel, with lots of restaurents and shops, which wasn t mentioned anywhere?

hotel is between Cha Am and Hua Hin with a small village close by but if you do not have a car it s getting boring.

Beach is good (wind mainly from west so the garbage went out to the sea) but beware of jelly fish.
the last day was beginning of a long Thai holiday weekend. The breakfast area is quite small for such a big hotel so it became chaotic. Either you went to a makeshift breakfast aerea 100 m away from the normal breakfast but it ran out of food and coffee quite quickly or you were queuing up at the main breakfast area.
Recommended for people who want to enjoy a quiet holiday at the pool but then avoid public holidays!
About the hotel: The hotel is very nice with the great location. We lived in superior room in the main wing. Breakfast is excellent and the staff (especially security guard) very friendly. Beautiful hotel,lovely garden,great beach and pool. We hope to go back.
About the hotel: very good hotel with all services you can ask. Too isolated place if you want to go and eat out somewhere. Excellent breakfast and friendly staff. Good place for older people and families with young children.

About the hotel: Public spaces are gorgeous and the pool for the main wing was great. The basic rooms in the main wing were adequate. The decor looked a little dated, but I think they are in the process of some rennovations. Breakfast buffet was good and early morning walks on the beach were fantastic! There were a few jellyfish washed up so you had to keep your eyes open. The beach area was well kept right in front of the hotel areas but got a little dirty further away. The higher priced areas (Regency Wing and little chalet type accommodations) looked great if you have the extra money. The shuttles into Hua Hin are not that useful though since they don t go that often and the times between drop off and pick up don t coordinate well. You can arrange for taxis (around 200 baht I think). And for food -there is a little place on the beach just to the left of the main wing that has great food (I think the name is Bestfood restaurant). The food at the hotel is mediocre and a little overpriced, but service was good. NOTE - if you are coming from Bangkok airport - search out the regular metered taxi if you are only 1 - 3 people, it was a flat fee of 2200 baht as opposed to the 3900 baht the limo taxi wanted to charge or even 2500 some of the entrepeneur drivers were trying to charge as you come out of the arrivals area.

About the hotel: We stayed at the chalet´s, the room was nice and the cleaning was the best. Very peacefull surroundings and great for kids. You really get value for money on this hotel. But a little tip. You can really save some money by eating outside the hotel.

About the hotel: Hotel under going change of ownership so some things were slipping a little. Major renovations to main lobby causing noise problems for some guests - others that asked to be moved were. The place was almost empty so there were not too many problems with people getting up at dawn to reserve pool side loungers. Check out the village that is 150m down the lane past the conference centre (reasonable restaurants and bars at a fraction of the proce of the hotel eateries) - but don t ask the staff about the village -they denied it s existence.
Great place for a mid week stay.
About the hotel: A lovely hotel right on the beach. Ideal for couples, families and the elderly. All the restaurants were good and reasonably priced. The staff were all very attentive. We stayed in a standard room which was excellent and very clean!! The chalets in the grounds looked really lovely and I would like the opportunity to stay in one of these another time. There was a shuttle bus taking guests into either Hua Hin or Cha Am. We had a lovely holiday and would definitely recommend it to anyone.
