About the hotel: I did not like the hotel because the room was very poor and requires rework!
Breakfast was also poor and too many musquitos. The staff are ok but as in most hotels in Thailand.
The location is good, close to night bazzar which is preety cool.
About the hotel: comfortable room in a very good location with reasonable price. The unstable wifi and lack of swimming pool are 2 main issues for concern.

About the hotel: Although it was an old hotel, but the room was spacious and clean. Only 3 minutes from the night bazaar and around 20 minutes from airport. I surely will stay in this hotel again for my next visitation to Chiang Mai
About the hotel: Old hotel in need of a good coat of paint! Staff were friendly. Internet was free for 20 minutes. Tea/Coffee in room is charged at B50 but if you go to the lobby you can have it for free. When booking tours check the price outside and negociate with the hotel tour company for best deal. The tour we went on to the highest peak was below our expection. The hotel is a short walk to night markets, be sure to get a map or check where you are going as you can get a little lost finding your way back. Overall you get what you pay for. We would probably spend a little more and try some place else next time.
About the reservation service: Easy to use and quick to reply. Would recommend. Suggest they include a bedding configuration option as we found were given twin beds and as the hotel was booked we couldn t get a double.
About the hotel: Good value for money, with good quality free WiFi if you use your owm computers. Very friendly and helpful staff from frontdesk, to cleaning ladies, to even the carpark attendents.

Safety Box big enough for small notebook, but forget their High Speed Wireless Internet, ... slower than a 56K modem ... if you got a chance to get connected. The staff just do a minimum, they don t care ... you come .. you go . Breakfast ... you better go outside . Location is good
About the hotel: We just stayed at The Star for the third time in two years, it s an honest place with large clean rooms, very helpful and PLEASANT staff. It’s within walking distance to just about everything.
You get what you pay for, yes it is a bit tired, but is undergoing renovations (no noise or problems), We consider it good value

About the hotel: The hotel is about the location. It is right downtown and close to everything. The breakfast is ok with a Thai and Farang selection, the room is a nice size with a good bathroom, and the staff is friendly. But nothing is great or over the top.
About the reservation service: Effective. It was hard to find a place as so many people are using Sawadee.
About the hotel: Convenient for night bazaar but in need of modernisation. Most of the staff look like they hate working there, rooms ok, bathroom dirty and out of date. Wouldnt stay again.
