About the hotel:
It s a warm welcome boutique hotel where is located in the residence area with the mountains view behind,the facilities will be shared with the resident. It s 20-25mins from Chiang Mai City or nigh bazaar, if you prefer quite/relaxing trip/enjoy reading books - this place is recommended.
Room - we stayed at deluxe room, like the decoration - thai contemporary, high ceiling, big shower room. There re Free hi speed internet - wireless access if you need its. Also a small pantry/meeting room for 5-6persons if you prefer having private breakfast/dinner/meeting. the Coffee is one of my favorite here.
Staff are very friendly, but you have to ask more details in one task! e.g. we arrived early morning and asked for breakfast room or restaurant if they may have (did not expect huge breakfast room like normal hotels), the manager Aoy advised walking to the main restaurant of resort where is located out side at the Club House of this residence, we went there and have been told by staffs - there will open 11am onwards, we walked back, the manager again advised that we hv to tell staff that we were hotel guests and have to walk back there again - no bother going back and foth, i asked if they could provide breakfast in the breakfast room here in the hotel and we realise the additional cost adn the answer is yes - was wondering why can t she advised in the first place!
The hotel has Car Rental services but they do not advert or provide any info or flyers until they saw one of the car rental deliverered to hotel, then the manager (again) offererd the lower rates than market rates(AVIS, Bugdet, Hertz and etc), since a bit hectic of breakfast,we afraid to ask more and we ve already booked up with corp.rate anyway.
Spa - is a luxury and wellness atmosphere, if you are a fan of the original hard thai massage, this place is not yr choice, recommended others around night bazaar (decent).
The restaurant Saen Kum at Club house - is very nice, provided organic foods (my favorite), reasonable prices, friendly staffs, with mountains view, plus the pianist and the singer on Fri-Sat nights.
The hotel is convenient to airport and easy accesses to the other attractions e.g. water falls, the hot spring and the Caves.

We just wanted to send our review of Baan Saen Doi Resort. It has been a marvelous home away from home with excellent service in all respects, beautiful accommodations, and delicious food. The staff were most helpful in arranging our activities. They were very efficient and helpful. The free pick up and drop off at the airport has also been very much appreciated. Suerbe hotel, très classe! Le restaurant offre un excellent choix de mets, tous bien présentés. Le petit-déjeuner était excellent! Hotel loin de la ville mais près de l aéroport ce qui a justifié notre choix!

One word sums this resort up, Breath-taking. Definately for homeymooners. It s a little distance away from town centre. This place though has all you would need to stay amused and away from noise. Very peaceful and tranqil. The view from the pool deck was amazing. Would definatelty recommend and stay again. Do a day spa, worth the little bit extra!

บรรยากาศ : สบายดีค่ะ อยู่ในหมู่บ้าน ให้ความรู้สึกเหมือนอยู่บ้านค่ะ
การเดินทาง : สะดวก ประมาณ 10 นาทีจากสนามบิน และประมาณ 15-20 นาทีเพื่อเข้าเมือง แต่ถ้าไม่มีรถก็ลำบากนิดนึงนะคะ ไม่ใช่ทางผ่านของรถแดงค่ะ
ห้อง : พนักงานน่ารักค่ะ มีการโทรมาถามว่า จะเอาเตียงใหญ่ไหม ก็บอกว่าเอา.. เวลาไปถึงเป็นเตียงเดี่ยว 2 เตียงชนกันค่ะ.. อยากใหญ่อีกมะ เดี๋ยวเอา 3 เตียงชนกันให้อีก เอา 4 เตียงมะ เอา 5 เตียงมะ ฮ่ะ ๆๆๆๆ
facility : ไม่ได้บอกตอนจองน๊า.. ว่าสระว่ายน้ำเป็นสระหมู่บ้าน และ fitness เป็น fitness หมู่บ้านน่ะ มี SPA ด้วยแต่ไม่ได้ใช้บริการ
บริการ : พนักงานสุภาพมาก ๆๆๆ ถึงมากที่สุดค่ะ พอใจสุด ๆ ค่ะ
อาหารเช้า : เป็นแบบสั่งเอาค่ะ เอาแบบไทยกินโจ๊ก หรือแบบฝรั่ง ก็ได้ book เวลา.. จะตื่นมากินตอนแปดโมง แปดโมงครึ่ง ไปจนถึงสิบโมงครึ่ง.. ปัญหาคือ book ได้ แต่ตื่นไม่ทันค่ะ ^O^
ราคา : reasonable price ค่ะ ไม่ถูกไม่แพง
ความพอใจ : ถ้าเต็ม 5 ให้ 3.5 ค่ะ
ซื้อซ้ำหรือไม่ : ซื้อซ้ำค่ะ เวลาที่อยากไปเที่ยวอย่างสงบ ถ้าอยากแสงสี ต้องเลือกโรงแรมในเมืองค่ะ

About the hotel:
We experienced a very peaceful holiday in this resort with its traditional Lanna-style building and furnishings. The examples of Northern Thai pottery, the beautiful entrance gate and other art works inside and outside in the terraced areas were an added bonus. The staff were very helpful and always pleasant. Our room was very clean and quiet, with efficient air-conditioning and a comfortable bed. The only aspect that could really be improved would be the provision of an iron for use in guest rooms. Our breakfast was delicious and served with excellent personal attention. We had a number of good meals at the adjacent Resort restaurant where the view of the attached organic rice fields and the mountains was an added attraction. Perhaps not everybody would want to be staying about 20 minutes distance from the main city centre but it suited us well because it was away from the hustle and bustle.Transport by taxi or by local mini-bus was easily arranged. Overall, a very pleasant stay with friendly and efficient staff in a secure and attractive setting.

This hotel was an absolute gem, I would recommend it to all! We had the suite which was furnished beautifully, was spotlessly clean and had a marvellous room to lounge in next to the spacious two bedrooms.The staff were very friendly, helpful and interested in their guests which made you feel really welcome.Pool area and restaurant was just as good as were the spa staff.Breakfast was Thai or continental and was served personally which was a treat too. Don t let the fact that this hotel is a little way out of the city to put you off, it cost between 250/300 bahts by taxi which the staff sort for you whenever you want. We loved everything about this hotel and would love to spend more time there in the future - thanks to all the staff from the three of us.

We enjoyed everything about the hotel and loved our stay at Baan Saen Doi extremely. Great ambiance, warm & lovely decor, beautiful garden, very hospitable & friendly staff who went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and very much at home. We will recommend to all our friends and family to stay at Baan Saen Doi if they are going to Chiang Mai. We would suggest to consider fire detection and fire fighting installation in the rooms as well as the rest of the hotel for the safety of the guests and staff.

Baan Saen Doi –A quiet oasis just 10 minutes from downtown Chiang Mai. I give it 5 stars. From the moment you slip off your shoes and step onto the cool tile floor of the entryway to the main house, you know that you have come to a place where you can relax and feel perfectly at home with a knowledgeable and friendly staff whose goal is to make your stay a perfect holiday.
The suites are perfectly appointed with spa tubs, dual sinks, a separate roomy shower, a cozy sitting area, a king size bed, and your own private terrace. The lush, landscaped views from the room invite you outside to stroll through the garden and relax in the outside sitting area. You can also enjoy the peaceful interior of the main house in the roomy front room sitting area, to read a book or magazine and be perfectly at ease.
The spa is just a short walk around the corner and is in the same style as the main house, quiet and luxurious. They offer a complete array of spa treatments including a body scrub with black sesame seeds, reflexology, aroma massage, facial, manicure, pedicure and much, much more with a friendly and professional staff to pamper you.
The onsite restaurant serves traditional Thai dishes, and the pool, and exercise room add to the resort’s excellent amenities.
When you are ready to go into town, the staff can arrange a taxi to pick you up and take you into Chiang Mai to wander through the Sunday Walking Market (open after 6:00 p.m. on Sundays), or the night market and which will also wait for you to bring you back to the resort. They can also recommend other things to do and see including the temples in and around Chiang Mai or arrange a guided visit to an elephant camp to see the elephants in action, ride up the mountain on an elephant, and take a bamboo raft down the river.
Baan Saen Doi is a perfect jumping off point for all you want to do in and around Chiang Mai and also offers the quiet rest you need at the end of a long day.
