About the hotel:
Me and my girlfriend stayed at the Twin Tower hotel twice in the space of a week, first in a superior room and then in a standard room. I can only say we had an excellent experience thanks to the friendly and professional staff, the lovely girls from the spa center where we had 2 wonderful foot massages, the porters who took care of our luggage just upon arrival... to make it short, a superb hotel expecially considering the price of rooms, very competitive.
The location is great, only 5 minutes by tuk tuk from the main train station of Huan Lumpang (hope i spelt it right), there s a bus link from the airport for 150 bath, it s the express bus A4 if I remember correctly.
The hotel has a beautiful swimming pool, rooms are very large.
We never had breakfast but we tryed the ground floor restaurant, it was ok, nothing to dream of but clean, not expensive and very handy.

We stayed at this hotel for two days. We have chosen this hotel due to its suitable location and apparently good price for rather good class of the hotel. It it close to the main railway station (Hua Lumpong), within 5-7 min drive by car aside of traffic jams, also close to the River shopping center (starting point of river cruises), to station of Skytrain (National stadium) and Tesco Lotus shopping center. The hotel looks like respectable, lobby and rooms are large, breakfast was also good. But my experience with receptionists/cashiers of the hotel was negative. I have sent two e-mails before my arrival, but they did not reply. At the check-in, they required my card and blocked 3,000 baht for three rooms that we have booked. But after checking out this sum remained blocked on my card even 13 days after our departure. Attempts to solve the problem with the hotel personnel by e-mail conversations and telephone calls were not productive (they did not reply to e-mails and could not say anything definite by phone) until I managed to reach general manager of the hotel (with help of Thai people from another hotel), and only then got money back.

The hotel is located in a great place but for the money we have paid - it was not worth it.
a. there is bad smell in the hotel rooms and in the hollways.
b. there was no coffee and tea in the room just a mini bar.
c. all the services the hotel supplied were too expensive. (SPA, Internet, room service etc..)
d. at our last day, while we were planning to go on our flight there was not hot water
e. the equpment in the room was old and sometimes not clean. the bathroom towels were old and dirty
f. we were on a hight floor but yet there was no view.

Hotel is a little run down, old and shabby and though the service was efficient I cannot say it was service with a smile...more grumpy than cheerful.Its far from anywhere and to walk to the nearest station or MBK is a good 25 minute walk,along a very unpleasant route... certainly not safe at night. No free internet given though it clearly says so for a deluxe room...forget the basket of fruit/flowers!!! The free drop off to MBK or Siam cost 35bht almost the same as taxi fare. And prices at the restaurants were a rip off.Certainly not a value for money hotel.

Room is clean and big. My sons and I enjoyed stay there. however, The location of the hotel is a bit far from siam. Each time of outing, we have to take tuk-tuk.

A 800m de la gare centrale et proche de plusieurs lieux d intérêts. Il s agit d un très bon hôtel.
Je trouve simplement dommage, comme souvent dans de très bons hôtel, certains membres du personnel ce comportent de manière très hautaine. De plus les informations comme pour le transport sont données à leurs profits; par exemple, je demande un taxi: les officiels de Bankok m irraient très bien, mais en voici un de l hôtel qui demande 3 fois le tarif! Mise a part cela et connaissant la mentalité de la population de Bangkok qui n a rien à voir avec le reste de la thaïlande, cet hôtel si bien situé est un endroit tout à fait recommandable.

About the hotel:
We had a pleasant stay at this hotel with a very gentle and helpful staff. Room clean and functional, but not luxurious at all (superior room), free fresh fruits (check-in day) and free bottle water everyday. There are 4 - 5 restaurants and we have tried two of them: the poolside one and the one on the left when one enters the hotel lobby. The poolside restaurant is more expensive but have a higher class (service and food). Here it is possible to order children food from the other restaurants kitchen downstairs. The other restaurant serves more plain food (also not Thai food) and it is also possible to change ingredients in the dishes according to your own wishes. In the mornings breakfast is served here and we could find everything we wanted. There is Thai food, western food, vegetables, fruits, bread etc etc (but no cheese). Just outside this restaurant there is a coffee corner where they serve slices of pizza, croissants, lasagne, cakes and beverages. We ate there several times since it was good, cheap and with good service! The pool is ok, not the biggest one but clean. The hotel location is 10-15 min walk from MBK, but there is a Tuk-Tuk service so you easy can get to the MBK. The hotel is very near the Hua Lamphong railway station. Using the Internet in business area is very expensive comparing to do it for example at MBK. Storing luggage is no problem and free. There is a small agency for day trips in the lobby. The staff just outside the lobby can also get you a normal Taxi or Tuk-Tuk from the street if needed.

Good and fast but it does not seem to be possible to book anything that differs from the ”normal” and obtain a confirmation for that. Anyhow, we got what we wanted.
