The River of Kings" in times gone by was the focal point of Thai lifestyle. As it was in the past, so it is today. Silom Road was originally a tree-lined canal, one of many in old Bangkok which once was called "The Venice of the East". Thai riverside life is still celebrated and nowhere better than the Centre Point Silom Executive Serviced Apartments situated on the bank of the Chao Phraya River.
Doing business around town is a breeze as you are in the hub of business activity as well as the jewelry trade district, leading hotels, department stores, restaurants and entertainment venues. Best of all, you can travel quickly and easily throughout the city by taking the Saphan-Taksin Skytrain stations.
About the hotel: The Studio we stayed in was large, clean and comfortable. The location was perfect for us as we wanted close proximity to a Sky Train station as well as the Chao Phraya Express. However, it may seem a bit far from the action for those who want to be near shopping complexes, restaurants and entertainment. Breakfast was good.
About the reservation service: Fast, efficient and reliable service.
About the hotel: This is my second stay in Centre Point network (the last time it was CP Petchaburi) and actually the hotels are pretty much the same.
The rooms are quite spacious, the bath appliances are new (and they have both the tube and the shower!), the furniture is in good condition. There is a refrigerator, a microwave, and the inroom safe is so large that you can even put a 17 laptop inside. That was not mentioned at Sawadee booking page, but they also have free wifi.
The breakfast is probably better than average however I wasn t fully satisfied. They have lots of types of meat but no good rice or noodle or any other garnish. The American Breakfast is fine though.
Overall I liked my stay and I don t have any complaints which would prevent me from staying there again.

About the hotel: Great room, great location, and great price. The room was large and clean and looks just like their posted picture. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast had a large selection with several different dishes each day. It s less than a 5 minute walk to the sky train or river taxi and the attached department/grocery store is very convenient. Only minor complaint is lack of restaurants in the area otherwise a perfect stay.
About the hotel: Just returned from a 3 nights stay at the centre point which was a repeat visit and I am pleased to say that it was just as good as the first time. Had a 1 bedroom suite which was a real home from home. Spacious, well equipped to a high standard. Room was on the 20th floor which would be a a problem if you wanted to stay in your room during the day as they are doing a modernisation programme on the floors above and this can be very noisy. Lower floors do not have the same problem.
The pool area is large and pool very clean. Breakfast was excellent and staff very friendly. Great value for money.

About the hotel: We stayed here two times during our holiday in Bangkok. This is definatly the best hotel I have stayed at in Bangkok (and I am no newbie). 2200 bath for a studio is a bargain. Both rooms we had were big, and with a very nice view over the river. The room had everything we needed, the whole hotel seemed very well maintained. Big pool and good breakfast spread.
My new favourite in Bangkok!

About the hotel: I do not understand why this service apartments hotel is rated three stars in this web, as it deserves 5 stars using european standards.
Everything was absolutely great, room, view from the room, hotel facilities, breakfast (excellent and varied cooking), staff was extremely gentle, always smiling and helping all the time.
I will come back without hesitating, and probably with my children too, as the hotel is fantastic in all possible ways.
We are spanish, by the way, and this is our second visit to thailand.

En español os diré que este hotel es mejor que cualquier Meliá de España que hayamos usado mi mujer o yo, y conocemos unos cuantos, y el precio es un auténtico regalo, hemos pagado por un estudio de 43 metros con cocina, lavadora, secadora, etc y desayuno buffet espléndido la cantidad de 45 euros al día ... impresionante, usadlo, no os arrepentiréis, y la situación es perfecta para el transporte público, parada central de barcos y skytrain, ambos en la puerta del hotel, el metro lo tenéis a dos paradas en skytrain, y la salida hacia el aeropuerto está ahí mismo por autovía. Insisto, perfecto.
About the reservation service: Excellent price, saved 1050 bahts per day compared with hotel internet fares. Although it would have been even better to have similar advantages with superior rooms. It would be nice too if confirmation came quicker.
I will use it again, no doubt.
