We are a family run resort on the Chaopau Hill, at the beautiful Haad Chaopau Beach, with a spectacular view over the marine national park. All our bungalows are situated on the rock over a small private beach. From beach bungalow you have a view to the mostly breathtaking sunset on this side of island. We speak German and English.

About the hotel: It was nice place all around, but no hot water and just a squat toliet. We also had a few spiders in the bathroom but thats to be expected. The private beach is a bit rocky and your better to go to the left to the longer beach which has white sand, but you may feel the sea lice biting you!
The staff were nice, they forgot to pick us up from the pier so we ended up renting a bike. But they made it up by giving us a free lift to thongsala when we left. The food in the restaurant is a bit pricey, and be prepared.... lots of stairs!!
About the hotel: I had booked this hotel via Internet from res24.com which is affiliated with sawadee.com because both web sites showing hotels are the same.When i called the resort for free pick up (as they mention on website) from the pier they say that we are not able to pick u from pier.So i reach the peir and travel to the far away place of koh phangan which is called haad chao pao.When i reached the so called resort there were no one to entertain or show me where do i booked for as i was so much tired after so much long journey and that time was near to evening.After a long time wait one lady arived with his hunbend.They charged me money and stamped the recipt with no refund... They send some one with me to show me the place of staying .and also a dog who is so much agressive on me.It was deep dark on the way which was going steep and steep and steep on rockey muddy unpaved way.After five minutes downway marathon where i was just near to fell down reached the box type rundown old looking only a paper sheet covered hut.After open the front door i thought my all holliday excitment charm is gone right away.This online reservation turned into a big time scam. Because this was not which was mentioned in the web site of so called resort which isn t a resort.Oh good no light on the way to the hut from the top and feels like am in the sea because that hut was right on the cove and the terreble noise of sea make me a lot afraid. when i got into wash room there was nothing to wash your self after having shit. when i checked the sink it was no water there.When i was so much depressed i finaly turned the blanket oof damn there was a spider, after that there is no way to stay there any more . I packed up my backpack walk up hill for five minutes and reached the top. I checked for the reciption there were no one .. because they were top class scamers. How i was destoryed my holliday in the middle of night is another story because that was near new year time ..and there were no place. All and all Rock Garden Resort and House is really a top class scamers . Stay away from this place if u don t want to destory your hollidays.And i also request www.sawadee.com to don t sell this type of top class scamers rooms and huts and don t advertise them.
About the reservation service: Booking servise was great for sumai but in koh phangan my whole holliday is gone to hell because of rock garken resort and house.
About the hotel: The place was inexpensive, but looked it. Bugs in the rooms. Big gaps in the floor with clear tape trying to plug it up.
Nice beach a short walk away. I stayed here to go to the Full Moon Party. Most hotels require 5 night stay during that time. Rock Garden only wanted 3, which was good since I only stayed 1.
