Located on the beautiful and peaceful Thong Nai Pan beach on Koh Phagnan Island, just a hop away from Koh Samui Island in the amazing Golf of Thailand. Boasting 30 bungalows built from natural stone and wood the tranquil resort blends in with the surrounding nature. The only locally owned resort on the beach, established for 16 years.
We offer 6 different room types, natural wooden built bungalows equipped with air condition, hot water, mosquito screened windows and private bathroom up to our most popular room type, well appointed concrete rooms , a stone throw away from Tongnaipan Noi Beach.

About the hotel:
The bungalow was fine. A little far from the sea. the way to the bungalow was a bit hard to climb with at three year old child. But the room was fine and the personel were helpsome and very sweet. But if you need a place that is super clean, don t pick Thongtapan Resort. We didn t have our bathroom cleaned for 8 days! Tongtapan is placed very nicely on the end of the beach, and has one of the beachs best restaurants. The big palm trees made a perfect shade on the beach in the afternoon. Tongtapan is all in all a very good choise of accommodation in Koh Pang Nan

About the hotel:
The hotel is very good, staff is helpfull and the beach is one of the best I ve ever seen. The only thing which made me to change the location prematurely was absence of fresh seasonal fruits in the hotel area. Even coconuts were low quality and overpriced. But if fruits and nightlife are not your aims for the holiday this hotel is one of the best places. Special thanks to staff of the restaurant located in front of the hotel reception. I didn t like the restaurant on the left side of the beach because of not very good smell there.

The bungalow was perfect for a 4 person family (kids 8+5 yrs). Beach and restaurant close to heaven. We´ll be back.

About the hotel:
We stayed in a superior garden bungalo, very comfortable and close to the beautiful beach and restaurant. Our only suggestion would be that the owners consider equiping the rooms with a fridge. We had a wonderfully relaxing few days at this resort.

About the hotel:
This beach used to be the best and most beautiful in Koh Phangan. But it isn´t anymore! It´s because of the new big uncharming resort, and because everything specially the resorts have been totaly overprized for the last 4 years. We stayed in Thongtapan Resort before. The restaurant is still the best on the beach, because the staff is absolutly fantastic, sweet, helpful and kind. And the food is always good taste But the resort is too expensive. We stayed in the family bungalow, which is dark, smelling and old. So - sorry to say it, but we have found a new winner beach on Koh Phangan

This is the resort largest room it features a stone wall which the bungalow built beside. A few steps away from the beach,

A villa with 2 separate bedrooms, one has a deluxe king-sized bed and another has 2 single - sized beds. The best suites for family with 5 - 14 years old.

Krua Tapan Restaurant: Our Krua Tapan Restaurant serves a wide range of breakfasts including continental breakfast. We highly recommend our fresh seasonal fruit with muesli and yogurt. For brunch / lunch & dinner we serve authentic Thai food. Fresh seafood menu changes according to daily catch.


Also a selection of pasta and soups are available. Baan Tapan Noi Restaurant is open daily from 7am until late. Dinner is served from 6pm till late.
