Jana Strupp August 2008	Haad Yao Bayview Resort, Haad Yao Beach This hotel ist fantastic! The stuff is so friendly, so kind! My sister had an accident and they cared so lovely for us. The owner himself helped her walking. The room was perfectly cleaned everyday. The restaurant is very clean and has seaview from every seat. They have a car rental service which I used twice. Down the beach are really good restaurants if you need a little variation although the hotel restaurant is great! You can snorkle right at the beach in front of the hotel. Great coloured fish! On the street up the hill (5-10 Minutes walk) are several ATM, NExt to the hotel are 3 shops where aou can buy second hand books in english, german etc, soda, clothes, telephonecards, sknokleequipment and what else you need. If you don´t want to you don´t need to go to Tongsala, the city. You can buy everything here. From the balcony you have a perfect view on the sea with breathtaking sunsets!!!I love to come again and again and again!!! Thank you for the oh so nice stay we had because of you!	great! No problem for one night or 3 or whatever you want
Nitsan Kollet 2009-06-28	Haad Yao Bayview Resort, Haad Yao Beach Strange... There is a potential but it s not quite there. The rooms are beautiful and specious, but the service is too minimal. Things like stained table covers, not enough smiles at the reception, very minimal spa, the face that not even once they asked us if we enjoy our stay etc. made us feel that we want to spend our money elswhere. Plus it was our honeymoon and they didn t even say anything, not to mention fruit basket, flowers or anything like that.	Smooth and easy.

Madeleine Broglia 2009-04-15	Haad Yao Bayview Resort, Haad Yao Beach Beautiful hotel if you get what you asked for. We booked 7 months ahead of our trip having requested a beachfront bungalow, which we were told we had, and although the room was directly on the water it was nothing like the other beachfront bungalows. More like a hotel room.Room 4. We also requested a baby cot, and were told we would have one in our room, and upon arrival were told they had no baby cots left. Beware of promises made by the resort. Front desk staff could hardly bring a smile to their faces when asked anything. Really not helpful or friendly at all. Food ok although make sure you order kids meals way ahead of time, as takes way too long for food to arrive. Pool beautiful, but don t swallow any of the water as will give you the runs . Not at all child friendly as huge steps and drop offs. Great island, pity about customer service and broken promises.	Very quick to respond to inquiry, but lots of promises broken.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was good. Haad Yao is a bit boring, but beautiful. I can recommend it.	What can I say, as always perfekt. Thank you again.
Carol Stewart 2009-02-10	Haad Yao Bayview Resort, Haad Yao Beach Really fantastic hotel - lovely rooms, lovely setting and on one of the most beautiful beaches on the island. Well priced for what you are getting. No beach towels provided, though, so bring your own. Staff were helpful, although restaurant service was at times a bit slow. Access to a small supermarket next door, providing laundry services, motorbike hire, towel hire and basic necessities. Would definitely recommend to anyone travelling to Koh Phangan.	Helpful and useful as usual

The food at the restaurant was super. The beach is beautiful and the best on koh Phangan.	Easy and safe

The view from the balcony was spectacular and the room was very big and spacious. The hotel staff were always helpful and friendly. We really enjoyed staying here and definitely recommend it to others.	Information on hotels was great. Very efficient and responsive service when I had questions. The payment for the hotel worked very well.

Vicky 2008-08-15 until 2008-08-18	Haad Yao Bayview Resort, Haad Yao Beach Went to Koh Phangan for obviously the FMP and due to the short period of time staying on the island we could only get accommodation compatible in the northern area which meant a very fast and mostly scary ride back and forth in a large tuk tuk...something I dont recommend! The resort itself was heaven and right on the beach sharing it with only one other resort close by so you really do feel secluded and deserted! We had a deluxe seaview and it was everything it promised and at a great value too...staff are friendly but service is a little slow so expect to be constantly on thai time (ie; plate of chips took 40 minutes...and don t get me started on the tuna salad!!)Make sure you visit the Reggae Bar round the corner if you like a bit of Bob Marley. Leider war das Hotelpersonal sehr unprofessionell und absolut unfreundlich. Die Reinigung des Zimmers war ok, das Bad wurde allerdings nicht gut geputzt. Es gibt bessere Anlagen am Haad Yao!!!!	Der Buchungsservice war sehr gut.
Carry 2008-05-28 until 2008-05-31	Haad Yao Bayview Resort, Haad Yao Beach This was the BEST hotel on our trip. Everything is new and clean. We stayed in a deluxe room and it was huge and a we had a fantastic sea view. The hotel staff is very friendly and funny. The hotel is directly on the beach, but it also has a nice pool overlooking the whole bay. The area where the hotel is situated is rather quiet(although there are a few other hotels, restaurants and bars on the beach), so it is great for relaxing! All in all we can really recommend Haad Yao Bayview Resort and would definitely stay there again.

In the evenings on the beach there were a lot of little restaurants doing excellent fish BBQ. Only bad thing was that due to the tides we could not swim in the sea.	fast and uncomplicated

Only downside: Path through hotel is very, very slippery, when wet. Yes, construction works are not finished yet, but the hotel rooms in the upper floor can be lived in. And the rooms are comfortable and nice. The upper floor rooms have nice views. Some other rooms have to be finished yet, but it should not take more than a couple of weeks, before it s done. I would not hesitate to book a hotel room however right now. There is constuction work for a seperate building for the employees. This will take some time but guests of the hotel not really notice that. - Reception: friendly - Breakfast:not very tastful - Evening fish BBQ at Beach nice. Don t walk to find an alternative BBQ. It s about the same along the beach. -Transfer Service available (reconfirm with Sawadee.com a couple days before arrival) - Pool: clean, warm, nice but no sun beds -Beach: nice, we walked to middle of beach for good place to go swimming. - Would we go back to the hotel and the beach? James Brown 2008-02-21 until 2008-02-24	Haad Yao Bayview Resort, Haad Yao Beach Not happy. The price was a lot higher than our other island accommodation and it didn t give anything different. The service was poor - on returning a loaned scooter my passport had been misplaced and caused me a large amount of dismay before it was located. Our follow on travel meant leaving the hotel at 6am the following day and we were told that we would have to stay in our rooms the night before as there was no key drop box, nobody available for early check out or key deposit refund. Only after a long argument were we able to arrange something at our suggestion. Food and drinks weren t great - breakfasts finished at ten am and we weren t offered alternatives despite having only one breakfast but paying for three with our hotel payments. Clean rooms and nice views, no more than other places we stayed though. 4/10	No problems

The room was tidy and had a superior view. Really enjoyed the jacuzzi at the balcony, only small downside was that the jets were so powerful that the water was blown out of the bath.	A bit confusing through the website, and it was not clear if there was a pick-up service (which there wasn t).
Villella 2007-12-26 until 2007-12-29	Haad Yao Bayview Resort, Haad Yao Beach I’ve stayed 3 nights at this Hotel with my wife and my 10years old son and I found it too expensive for what it has to offer. Our Superior Seaview (5400Bath) was clean and spacious, with very nice views over the beach and the sunset from the balcony but the bath very plain without any rail to hang the towels or shelves to put soaps. I have to say that the staff, constantly monitored by a bossy owner, really tried to please us and they seem authentically nice people. However this resort is still under constructions and when you arrive you will have to go trough scaffolding and debris which is very discouraging. There’s lots of hammering and drilling noises from early hours in the morning to late afternoon not to mention the enormous steps that make this Hotel totally unsuitable for children, prams, disabled or elderly people. Thai food is good but do not eat Pizza. The only 6 wooden loungers by the swimming pool do not have any padding and are very hard and uncomfortable. The Hotel is situated in the worst part of the bay because during High Tide (most of the day in December) does not have his own beach and and if you want to lay in the sand you have to walk to neighbouring resorts in the middle of the bay. Maybe when the work is completed this hotel will look like a 3 star but at present i would rate it only 2 and good for young couples only. If I will ever return to Haad Yao Beach I would choose “ Long Bay Resort “ Be aware loud music is played in some bars on the beach until late night.	Good and reliable
Mr Randy Napenas 2007-11-22 until 2007-11-24	Haad Yao Bayview Resort, Haad Yao Beach This hotel was the best resort we stayed in throughout our holiday in Thailand (we stayed in 7 places in total) - the room is clean and spacious, and the beach is so close and as its pretty small, there are no hawkers selling their wares while you sunbathe. Most importantly, the staff are lovely and genuine, and they offer a convenient taxi service too. We will be returning to Haad Yao Bayview Resort, I m sure after the construction work it would be even more amazing.	Sawadee service was very good. No problems.
Yu Kwan Ho 2007-09-11 until 2007-09-15	Haad Yao Bayview Resort, Haad Yao Beach I stay at Haad Yao Bayview Reort for 4 nights. The resort is build beside the beach, just 1 minutes walk can reach the sea. The resort is new, everything is new. My villa equip with air con. the toilet is very plan ,clean but no facility. the water is weak. Since all villa build at a small hill just beside the beach, you can lay at balcony to see the whole beach view and the beautiful sun set every night. The swimming pool is with good view but a bit small. Food is just average. Breakfast not much choice, but the taste is ok. Western style dinner is good, but Thai food is really bad. So i choice to take meal at the resort just beside. the food is much better and cheaper. The most bad thing is , the hotel is still under construction, there is a few building just behide those villa is constructing. It is very very noice in the moring , even you lay down on the beach. The view is good, the villa is good but i think it will be much better after its construction work complete.	Very smooth and fast response. Sawadee.com confirm me the booking within 24 hours.
