Gareth Allen 2009-05-13	The Garden Lodge, Ban Tai Beach what a great place, i have travelled s/e asia alot, this was just a 2 week holiday in thailand, my girlfriend and i spent 10 days at the garden lodge and it was lovely. Frank is a good lad, helpful and rents motorbikes, the superior room is brilliant, to may reviews on this site are by people with no concept of thailand at all. for £30 a night you cant go wrong, huge bed, hot shower, good sports channels and films on the sky tv, sliding doors just 10 foot froom the pool,good air con and comfy seats, really private, no worries about peopke at the pool, even when full there is only 7 rooms and hey it s pang nang..everyones always out and about doing stuff, i fully recomend rzzing to had rin and back. if i find myself back on pang nang, i ll stay there again.. really nice..perfect for getting away from Chavs.
Katherine McGuane 2009-05-12	The Garden Lodge, Ban Tai Beach Lovely place to stay. Really near a stunning beach with a great bar for food or a quite drink. The guy running it is very nice & helpful & we ended up staying an extra night! It was great being able to rent his notebote for the night to book flights etc We stayed for the full moon party & it was close enough by taxi but far enough away so we had peace & quite too.
Roger Lantz 2009-04-02	The Garden Lodge, Ban Tai Beach Garden Lodge is a very beautiful and private resort, it s very clean and the staff is very helpful and so is the owner himself - everything is first class. We stayed at the villa which had everything you needed. The pool area and garden is very beautiful. The free coffee, tea and water was very much appreciated by us. We really recommend Garden Lodge as a first class place to stay in Koh Phangan.	This was the 2nd time we used Sawadee. Efficient, fast and helpful. We will continue to use Sawadee in the future.
Lizzy Faz 2009-03-13	The Garden Lodge, Ban Tai Beach Stayed at the Garden Villa. It was huge enough for the 4 of us. The Garden Logde is a very private setting and as there are only five (or six) villas in the whole resort, we were ensured with full privacy and safety. Even though there is no restaurant or breakfast, fear not, coz we found everything and anything at the nearby resorts and around Ban Tai. By the way, the kitchen is complete with microwave and toaster ovens. Full fridge and freezer to store all the booze!!!!! This is very hard to find in hotel rooms. Frank, the owner, personally took care of our personal needs. Really saves us the trouble of finding motorcycles, food, advice etc. The Garden Logde is a place to stay in Phangan as it made our vacation truly felt like home-stay. Thank you so much, Frank.	Really fast & efficient. Even got an instant confirmation thru SMS on my mobile. Thank you.
Sarah Sainato 2009-02-04	The Garden Lodge, Ban Tai Beach We originally booked a few nights here as we traveled to Koh Phangan for the half moon party which is situated closer to Baan Tai than Haad Rin. When we arrived to Koh Samui we discovered that the date of the half moon had been changed. This meant we had to amend our booking at the Garden Lodge and could only stay for one night. I emailed Frank, the owner, and he was very prompt in responding. I was able to amend the booking but had to pay a large cancellation fee for the nights that we did not stay. We were fine with this as the cancellation fees are stated when you book. The taxi driver dropped us at the top of the driveway and we needed to carry our luggage all the way down till we reached the lodge. We stayed in the Thai Garden Villa. This Villa was fantastic, there were a few ants in the bathroom but apart from that the kitchen has great facilities and there is plenty of space to move around. This place is perfect for families. Next time we travel to Koh Phangan we will stay in Haad Rin though, Baan Thai was a little to quiet for us. If your coming to Phangan to party I wouldn t bother with the half moon party unless you plan on attending the full moon party aswell. Phangan Beach resort is right next door. There a cute little bungalows here and there is also a great restaurant and bar. The beach is quite close by, beware of coral in the shallow water though. We were very happy with our stay here but suggest this place for couples, families and those who are after a more secluded beach.	No problems.

Enrico Stadler 2008-09-15	The Garden Lodge, Ban Tai Beach Garden Lodge is a very beautiful resort. For us as German it was very helpful that Frank owner is German, too. It was no problem that there was no breakfast, lunch or dinner, because you had have everything in Ban Tai.	Easily and without any problems!!! Perfect, everytime again!!!
Mélissa Pisler 2008-07-24	The Garden Lodge, Ban Tai Beach Very good, clean hotel, the service was really caring and the administrator is very kind and supportive for any kind of activities within the island. The hotel itself and the surroundings were just like we expected, and just like we got them presented on the pictures: superb landscapes and easy access to the beach and to pretty much anywhere within Koh Phangan! In short we enjoyed ourselves a lot, and are looking forward to come again!	Very good, effective service. Easy to understand.
Nick 2008-07-18 until 2008-07-21	The Garden Lodge, Ban Tai Beach I stayed in the Garden Lodge last Fullmoon. This place is an absolute recommendation. The suite room was really worth it and nice and clean. Also a plus is the swimmingpool which is nice as a substitute to the beach. The owner was also very flexible with the extra guest that we brought. Certainly worth coming back!	Perfect!
Christian Gareis 2008-05-17 until 2008-05-21	The Garden Lodge, Ban Tai Beach Great location to visit complete Phangan. Nice and clean rooms, very well equiped. Lovely garden and pool area. Beach restaurants and cool bar in walking distance (Two Rocks). Very good support by Frank, the German Owner and manager, helpfull staff. Scooter for rent and Jepp organised by Frank. No breakfast, but free coffee, tea and water. Fridge and hot-water-maker.	very good and easy

Very quiet and the German owner very friendly.There was no restaurant so you had to go out for breakfast - no big deal. This time of the year the tides are very low so the beach really wasn t suitable for swimming.	Very good and easy booking through Sawadee
Jack Wootton 2007-04-29 until 2007-05-02	The Garden Lodge, Ban Tai Beach We had a really nice stay at The Garden Lodge over the full moon period. It takes about 15 minutes on a taxi from the garden lodge to Haad Rin. The room was spacious and quiet and Frank (the owner) was really helpful. The DVD player was not working in the room but Frank had replaced it with his VCD player and gave us some of his movies to watch. The resort still has some building work to finish the pool and surrounding walkway but we were not disturbed by any noise during our stay.	Sawadee made the booking process really easy and even let us pay our deposit after the deadline as we were away from the internet for a few days

We had booked a family-room, but got upgraded to a Thai-villa....-wich is nice and spacy...-although it did not have warm water as promised, and the internet wasn t running as promised on the website. The owner Frank seems like a nice guy, but surpriced me when he charged an extra 500 baht for a friend of mine coming later. We HAD booked a room with space for 4 people, and the Thai-Villa could easily keep 6. I have no idea why he charged us that extra amount of money, seems pretty weird as we paid per room not per persons (i had a pretty bad fever at the time and didn t manage to argue with him). I think that s a bad way of making a business!	Superb as always!
