Sergio Ponce de Leon 2009-03-13	Rungarun Resort, Ban Tai Beach It was a little expensive, but a very nice place. I think they start dropping the price if you stay for at least 4 nights. Pan (sp?) was such a warm and friendly manager/owner (?) of the place. Lot s of cats and dogs running around. Nice pool, OK beach front (but you can always walk up and down this beach [Ban Tai] to find other beaches during the day and bungalow bars at night). Good food, although if you order eggs for breakfast tell them not to cook too long! Close enough to Haad Rin and very close to Thongsala (I really like the location in between the two). You can easily rent motorbikes (they will call someone for you) to drive around the rest of the island, but be careful of some of the hilly roads especially heading towards Haad Rin. They will also book ferry s for you. Not a lot of night action at this particular bungalow, but again, you can always walk up and down the beach at night to find a bar or just taxi to Haad Rin. 2009-03-03	Rungarun Resort, Ban Tai Beach For anyone looking for peace and quiet: this is the perfect spot. Comfortable bungalows, lovely well kept gardens, a nice little swimming pool. Friendly and helpful staff. Two minor things: the restaurant food is a bit disappointing, and there is not enough shade on the beach; large umbrellas would solve this problem. A lovely place to relax.	Very efficient

We are so glad we chose this resort.The beachfront bungalow R02 lived up to more than our expectations. Great clean swimming pool and very well kept gardens.The private beach was the best beach in Ban Tai and cleaned and raked each morning to make it look immaculate. The Bungalow was clean and well apointed it even had a bath tub,everything worked and was clean and modern.The staff were great and helpful as was the owner who went out of her way to make sure everything was just right. Food was good quality very cheap and quick which we didnt expect after previose comments on time taken to prepare food. Dont expect a party as this resort is quiet and relaxing. If you dont choose the Rungarun when staying in Ban Tai then you are making a mistake and will miss out on perhaps the best place to stay between Tongsala and haad Rin. I will be back for sure and didnt want to leave. Everything was perfect for us which is hard to get when booking on line,the photos dont do this place justice. Thanks to Pan and staff for a great holiday on Koh Phangan.	Always good with no problems at all
Breanne 2008-04-22	Rungarun Resort, Ban Tai Beach Excellent place to stay! Very clean and spacious rooms with a friendly and (extremely) helpful staff!! A quiet place to stay, which is nice after a long night on the beach. Good variety of food available and beautiful pool to lounge around.

Anna Andersson 2008-02-07 until 2008-02-11	Rungarun Resort, Ban Tai Beach Just a few Bungalows and we had the pool and the beach almost for ourselves. The staff were great but they do everything and you have to wait a little bit to long for food. Very clean place and very peaceful.

The staff are very friendly and helpful and it is situated on a very attractive stretch of beach. I highly recommend this resort.	Booking service was easy and efficient.

We had our 2 year old daughter with us this time and found that the place had become very popular with families. Very clean well kept resort and the pool is a great addition. Highly Recommended,	no problems
Rebecca Smith 2007-11-22 until 2007-11-26	Rungarun Resort, Ban Tai Beach Our stay at the resort was fantastic. The bungalows were modern, clean and spacious and were cleaned each day. The staff were very friendly, especially Pan, who runs the resort. We were assisted with enquiries with regards to further travelling, scooter hire and location of landmarks on the island. The food in the restaurant was fabulous and reasonably priced. The resort is located far enough away from Haad Rin to escape the noise and the crowds but not so far away that it was a big inconvenience. The beach is pretty, though not always great for swimming as it is quite shallow some of the time. I would thoroughly recommend Rungarun.	Fast and efficient.

The restuarant slowly. Did take time to eat. Pool very nice.	Very good but sometimes the pictures on hotel dont fit with the real.

Lauren 2007-01-31 until 2007-02-04	Rungarun Resort, Ban Tai Beach Hi all, I stayed at Rungarun Resort for 4 nights, jan-feb 2007. I found this place fantastic!! Great value, friendly service and quiet location. It s only 15 minutes in a Tuk Tuk to Haad Rin the main town on Koh Phangan where the full moon party is. Food service is quite slow - but apart from that a great place to stay!! Right on the beach as well!!
REBECCA HARRADENCE 2006-12-30 until 2007-01-08	Rungarun Resort, Ban Tai Beach Beautiful resort in a great location. It s situated on Ban Tai beach which is about 15min taxi ride from Haad Rin and all the main nightlife. The bungalows are clean, neat and tidy, with aircon, fridge, complimentary water and great views if you get a seafront one! The staff at Rungarun are friendly and will do anything to help you. It has a real family feel about it. Unfortunately the weather was quite bad when we stayed there so it did put a dampener on things, but we still enjoyed our time there. My only comment would be that it is very very quiet at Rungarun. Some of the neighbouring resorts had music playing during the day, and films in the evening , which would have been nice at times. If you want total peace and quiet though, this is for you.	No problems

Caroline Deakin 2006-09-04 until 2006-09-08	Rungarun Resort, Ban Tai Beach Myself and 5 friends stayed at Rungarun for 5 nights in Sept 06 and this was the best accomodation of our trip! The location is really beautiful and our huts led straight onto the beach which is clean and well kept by the owners (who also provide deck chairs). It had just been re-opened after renovation and the rooms were of a really good standard with air con. The gardens are really well kept and have a swimming pool which is really rare and a fantastic extra as you can t swim in the sea as it is too shallow near the shore. The only criticism I could make of this accomodation is the service in the resturant can be very slow - with us sometimes waiting up to an hour for them to cook our cocktails! When food/ drinks do arrive however they are fabulous and the owners really are so lovely and will do anything to help you out and make your stay enjoyable. Highly recommended!!!!

You have the beach to yourself, although you can not swim in it. But they were building a pool when we were there that will make it great. The Bunglows were really clean, ac d and comfortable. The staff was wonderful and very helpful in determining your days activities. Would definitly recommend and stay there again.	Easily and Realiable
Christopher 2006-02-14 until 2006-02-16	Rungarun Resort, Ban Tai Beach This hotel was amazing. My bungalow was on the beach with beautiful views and couldnt have been better. Rooms were modern and safe with A/C and a large fridge. However it was the staff that will bring me back. For example, my second day I caught the flu and had a hard time walking around so the OWNER of the resort went to the pharmacy for me to get medicine. This is just one example of the hospitatlity that will bring me back again and again.
