John Spittal 2009-02-20	Coconut Beach Bungalows, Haad Khom Bay I consider my wife and I to be very adaptable travellers, BUT Coconut Beach Bungalows were stinky, disappointing service, mediocre food at the restaurant. The owner refused to get up from laying down and instead barked out orders to her staff! And she tried to charge more for our room that we had already paid for online. There was no free pick up as advertised, and there was only electricity during the night time. A total disappointment.	wonderful!
Gordon Findlay 2009-02-03	Coconut Beach Bungalows, Haad Khom Bay Lovely family run bungalow resort on what we though was the nicest beach on the island. Great snorkeling with coral reef close to the beach and very peaceful during the day - no constant music! Very mellow night life with good food, nice music, games available and even movies on DVD if you want. Staff will arrange taxis to nearby towns if more nightlife needed!While isolated, easy to get around on a scooter which you d probably want wherever you stayed	Good
E.A.Terlouw 2009-01-22	Coconut Beach Bungalows, Haad Khom Bay When we came they didn t expect us (they did not note our reservation) Our room was given away.The next day we became our beachroom. Very basic.They do not clean the room, you have to ask for fresh towels and sheets. The hotel is out-of-the-way, when you like to visit an other place you need a scooter.You can hire a scooter at the hotel. Not the European standard of basic.	No problems, very quick.
Katharina 2009-01-12	Coconut Beach Bungalows, Haad Khom Bay Nice bungalows and terrace, but - no pick-up (although written in the description) - no internet access (although written in the description) - only few, broken and dirty snorkeling equipment (although written in the description) - no housekeeping!!! Moreover we had a waiter who was most of the time stoned and annoying. Only the cook was very friendly, however the food was expensive for its qualitiy. Last but not least we had cold and windy weather and the beach was flooded. That s why we had to rent a car to go to the south. Taxi prices are incredible high. We will come back because we like Koh Phangan, but we will book something in the south and no more coconut beach bungalows!!!	Owner on site first didn t know that we had booked and had paid a deposit.
rebecca galvan 2009-01-02	Coconut Beach Bungalows, Haad Khom Bay Overall, this place was just OK. It s quite far from any civilization, and takes a good 15 minute motor bike ride to get anywhere. FABULOUS if it s sunny the whole time but might be worth changing plans if it rains.There are only 2 beach front bungalows. Worth it to book them early.	Very helpful. Hotel, however, tried to claim I hadn t paid.
Daniel Russell 2008-12-25	Coconut Beach Bungalows, Haad Khom Bay Stay away! There are so many wonderful, up-and-coming, unique places to stay on the island that this place is both a waste of time and money. The rooms are small, smelly, dank holes.	Efficient!
John 2008-06-30 until 2008-07-02	Coconut Beach Bungalows, Haad Khom Bay These bungalows are exactly what I was hoping for, and more! The staff are the sweetest people you ll ever meet, and we re always very responsive to our needs. Staying here is sort of like going camping. Sure, there s no hot water (you don t really need it though because of the hot humid weather), and the electricity is off from about 7AM to 3PM every day. That s not the fault of coconut beach however, it s simply the norm for almost every place on Koh Pha-Ngan. However, it s a great motivator to get out of your bungalow and actually see the rest of the island (you know...the whole reason your on vacation in the first place). We actually extended our stay here for another 3 days. Simple accommodations, amazing scenery...highly recommended!
Filipa 2008-06-13 until 2008-06-19	Coconut Beach Bungalows, Haad Khom Bay Quiet and beautiful beach, friendly staff. Nice bungalows if you don t mind the cold water and cleaning yourself everyday the bungalow. To stay here it s recommended to rent a 4 wheel motorbike.	GREAT
Konstanze Gabriel 2008-06-08 until 2008-06-12	Coconut Beach Bungalows, Haad Khom Bay perfect place at the end of the world with no electricity during the day time, nice neat bungalows, no need for electricity, current residents are slightly crazed out travellers who are the main entertainment at Coconut Beach Resort in Had Khom, fantastic stay altogether, one improvemehnt suggestion would be to sort out room service.
Stroeckens 2008-03-15 until 2008-03-21	Coconut Beach Bungalows, Haad Khom Bay a very lovely place with nice people, good thai food and a beach like in paradise! the bungalows are ok, with fan, but only cold water, but this is no problem because of the air temperature! if you want to relax the best place where you can go to!

However, it is quite secluded and difficult to get to anywhere else on the island. To get to the resort you have to travel approximately 15 minutes up an unpaved rocky mountain. Not recommended for anyone looking for a place in the middle of all the action, but definitely a great place for someone looking for a quieter trip.	Quick and easy

The resort is run by laid back, friendly Thai family who do whatever required to make your stay comfortable. If you fancy something not on the menu, they will try to get it for you on the daily trip to Thong Sala. The snorkelling equipment was also free for guests to use. The bungalow was clean. This place is suitable for people with children, and those wanting to get away from crowds. I would definitely stay here again.	Brilliant and efficient service. Would definitely recommend
Carl Foley 2006-01-26 until 2006-02-01	Coconut Beach Bungalows, Haad Khom Bay Friendly staff with a good social feeling. Bit out of the way but they have a daily service for town. The beach is nice and quiet and the water is very clear. There are two other resorts on the same bay so there is some variety on where to eat.	We have used it several times. Good and efficient but maybe they could have first and second choices when choosing accommodation. No alternatives were suggested despite asking for them on the booking form.
