Sarikantang Resort and Spa, Seekantang Beach Excellent resort right on the beach front on quiet leela beach. we stayed in the deluxe seaview room which was very well equipped and excellent value for money. we have spent over eight months in thaland over the past nine years and i would have to say this was one of the best resorts with some of the best, most helpful and friendly staff we have seen. our only gripe was the large number of israeli people who were there at that time. They are often rude and inconsiderate, this is no fault of the hotel. |

Excellente prestation. Chouchoute le chaland. |

Sarikantang Resort and Spa, Seekantang Beach Sarikantang was a fantastic place to say. It offered enough privacy away from the craziness of Had Rin Nai, but a close enough proximity to easily walk there. The hotel restaurant provided delicious meals and the hotel amenities like spa, internet and hotel services was top notch. Above all the service provided by the staff was incredibly polite and helpful. I would have no hesitation in staying at the Sarikantang again in the future. |

Sarikantang Resort and Spa, Seekantang Beach The resort was great the facilites were wonderful the pool was however small and there were no phones or clocks in the rooms so it was difficult to know what time it was when we woke as we didn t bring phones. The geckos and toads/frogs that came into the bungalows got me a little sqeamish. We stayed in the hilltop deluxe oceanview first which was quite a climb to get to and had to change as it was becoming an ordeal getting up and down especially first thing in the morning or after a few drinks. We moved to one of the bungalows opposite the pool. Just as the first bungalow they had big gaps in the bathrooms so all kinds of creepy crawlies were able to get in. Something to bear in mind if you or your partner are anti-creepy crawly. The mosquitos are about alot and so I would definitely recommend taking some repellant and get some of those coil things from the town they re like incense that the repel the bloodsuckers! The town is interesting alot of restaurant/bars with huge tv s so that you can watch movies and series like friends & family guy to a few drinks etc. One place had bean bags and you could lay there on the floor which was super chilled out fo sho ! The food eveywhere was absolutely fantastic the Pad Thai was a big favourite and the burgers were great too! If you were looking for a little more relaxation the kind that Thailand and Amsterdam can offer there is a place called the Reggae Reggae bar that offers a little sumthin sumthin for all you Marley fans! Funny thing there was a kind of sign outside the bar with Bob Marley chilling out with a fat J someone had swiped it apparently some people who had had a few too many and made off with it to the Full moon party!! The Full moon party was a sight to see but I would keep your wits about you as there alot of people out there trying to make a quick Baht and rip off the many drunken full mooners! The restaurant at the resort was without a doubt the most friendly and relaxed place we d ever been. The staff were mostly Burmese and they all gave us great advise on where to go in town and one of the waitresses even took us to a great seafood grill was very sweet. I would seriously resommend you visit but be weary of Mossie and his many bloodsucking pals. |

Sarikantang Resort and Spa, Seekantang Beach A little bit of paradise tucked away in a quiet spot. Absolutely loved it. We had a first row deluxe, which was a few metres away from the pool, restaurant and beach. Food at restaurant was really good and reasonably priced, staff were always helpful and friendly and I would definitely stay there again. |
No problems, very helpful, everything went smoothly. |

Sarikantang Resort and Spa, Seekantang Beach We stayed for 3 nights during our honeymoon -beach front suite. This was lovely; huge bath and outside deck with private beach area with sunbeds, 4 metres from the sea! Good service and food. Quieter than Sunset Beach side which was perfect and its only a 5 min walk when you want the nightlife. |
I has slight problems with my card but the communicaton was excellant and they solved the problem quickly. |

Sarikantang Resort and Spa, Seekantang Beach Good hotel. Not a great beach for swimming but very nice. Hotel staff and the spa is fabulous. Beachfront suite is nice but a little overpriced. Overall we had a wonderful vacation and would return to Sarikantang! |
good but took a little while to get replies. |

Sarikantang Resort and Spa, Seekantang Beach Location is great. It s about a 10 minute walk to where the Full Moon Party is located. The Hotel itself is a very nice layout. Rooms are OK as well. The beach was rocky and dirty, but I think that was because of the time of year with the low tide. However, the beach view was great. My biggest concern was the lack of genuine interest the front desk showed. My power in bungalow 25 kept going out (4 times) everyday for 2 days. At night trying to sleep in the heat was unbearable. I realized it was the breakers and fixed the problem myself instead of going to the desk every time. However, the front didn t seem to care at all or even offer an apology. That left a bitter taste in my mouth and I probably want to heading to the place again with so many other better viable options in the area. Overall, this place gets a B minus for the amount I payed and the service received. |

Sarikantang Resort and Spa, Seekantang Beach The hotel itself is very beautiful and impressive. The hotel is situated on a very nice beach, but the rooms have no hot water and the hotel is totally isolated from the rest of the island. It takes around 20 minutes to get to the center of the island. |
Web Sawadee is a very easy and helpful system to use. |

Sarikantang Resort and Spa, Seekantang Beach AMAZING. One of the best beach hotels I have ever stayed in. Beautifully clean. Terrace swing. In-built huge bath facing ocean. Four-poster bed. £2 thai food. I want to go back! |

Sarikantang Resort and Spa, Seekantang Beach The nicest place I have stayed since I ve been on my travels. Perfect! Right on Leela Beach (which is lovely and not at all busy. Much nice that Haad Rin beach), lovely pool, great staff, really nice food in the restaurant, great little movie room, lovely rooms with balconies & hammocks, fabulous spa (I recommend the Aroma massage). Only a 10 minute (if that) easy walk in to Haad Rin where all the bars and restaurants are, so close enough to get to but far enough to get away from and relax. Such a great little place, so relaxing and I will definitely be returning. |
Very good |

Sarikantang Resort and Spa, Seekantang Beach Stay at Sarikantang was nice and great like always! The people there are very friendly and even recognized me, although it has been almost 2 years since my last stay. The rooms are nice but could be kept a little nicer (it shows that they are some years old).... but after all: very nice resort, very quiet and very nice people |

Sarikantang Resort and Spa, Seekantang Beach Sarikantang is perfect for couples!! It lays on the edge of the beach (witch is one of the best beaches in K.P! We had the bungalow 52 and 53 witch we can recommend. Its a little bit behind the beach houses but the view is amazing!! and the bungalows are seperate from the others. Nice room with good standard, shower and bath is in the bungalow but outside . Nice cleaning and good service on the rooms with water, soda, beer, brezzer, candy. The service in the reception is also very good, a little bit slow but the girls are really friendly. We was not at the pool but looked at it and it was very nice. Alot of sunbeds. At the beach the have real good place and its not so much people. You can also rent waterscooter nearby. The restaurant has really good food but the service dont go along with the rest of the resort. Its slow, people getting the wrong food, drinks at the table (easy to ajust but a little bit sad) If you dont like dogs dont live hear! The resort has 4-5 dogs that guards the resort from beach salesman and other not wanted dogs. But to the guest the dogs are very friendly and dont bather. We highly recommend Sarikantang and hope for better service in the restaurant. |

Sarikantang Resort and Spa, Seekantang Beach Very Nice. We had a beach view room. Good location too. Walking distance to the city without all the noise at night. The beach restaurant was also good. Beach was beautiful. |

Sarikantang Resort and Spa, Seekantang Beach It is within 5 min.walk from Haad rin fullmoon party beach and the town, but the resort is located in a relatively quiet area along the beautiful sunset beach. The ocean view suite we stayed in is spacious and nicely decorated, however, some of the fittings needs repair ( e.g. front door jammed, ants on the windowsill, shower head etc). The ocean front Spa offers great massage and treatments at a reasonable price, and the staff were nice and friendly. |

Sarikantang Resort and Spa, Seekantang Beach Great place nice pool right one the beach. There was an ant problem in our bathroom but they seemed to clean it out everyday although that might gross some people out. The only complaint I really have is with the restaurant...the service was lacking the food took ages but if you aren t in any sort of hurry or can eat somewhere else (there are lots of other places it s a 7 minute walk from the main town) it s a nice place to stay, far enough away so you can get some sleep at night but close enough to be in the action every night. |
No complaints, simple, straight forward and everything was set for when I got there. The only problem was we had to book for 7 nights due to the full moon party. Some people may not want to stay that long. |

Sarikantang Resort and Spa, Seekantang Beach We booked the beach front bungalow and the place is really lovely (it s the best room in the hotel, only 15 meters to the beach). The bungalow had a big terrace and we enjoyed relaxing there. Room is spacious, also the pretty bathroom with tub + shower, only the pressure of the water could be better. The service is fine and helpful, but the bungalow was only cleaned when presenting key at the reception. The beach is clean and partly sandy, but also with rocks in the water(for swimmers it s not really a paradise). The restaurant offers breakfast and food, but both is not really innovative(slightly boring and the menu card is similiar to a fast food restaurant). Party is behind the hills (10 minutes walk) and at this place you hear nothing of the partying crowd.Overall comment: Accommodation is nice and a recommendation. |
Good service, everything was perfect! Go ahead in his way |

Sarikantang Resort and Spa, Seekantang Beach Hotel was OK (if you are sharing the cost with someone). About 10 mins walk from haad rin township. Most staff were OK. Security guard at night was a bonus. The beach is right on the doorstep of the restaurant (making for some amazing sunsets) and the sand on the beach was good (but when in the water a bit rough underfoot). Would probably stay here again |
No probs |

Sarikantang Resort and Spa, Seekantang Beach ABSOLUTLEY PERFECT!! Nothing at all wrong with this resort, I stayed in a 1,500BHT a night air-con room, cleaned every day if you want. Lovely pool, own very near private beach, actual sea near by rocky just under the water & some sea slugs but its the same every where else on the island. Not missed as the pools so great. Best place to eat on the island, always busy, quick, clean & cheap. Relaxed atmosphere, allowed to pick their DVD s & watch in restaurant with guests, DVD to hire, internet area very useful. Slight hill to get to central nightlife but only takes 7 mins walk, could be tricky for older people, prams etc. I WANT TO MOVE IN!! Staff VERY VERY friendly & helpful. |
Sawadee.com is BRILLIANT. Always works & spot on. |

Sarikantang Resort and Spa, Seekantang Beach This hotel was great. The location was excellent on a nice little beach right behind the main sunrise beach. YOu just had to walk a few minutes to town and the parties on the main beach. Yet it was over a hill so very quiet. Ocean Deluxe room was great, with an outdoors shower and a little garden - very cool. Only downside was the junk and burnt rubbish all over the road on the track up to the hotel. However this is an issue with Haad Rin town - not the hotel specifically. Also the safe in our room was broken (it had been left locked) so we couldnt use it. The staff didn t seem interested in resolving the issue so instead we had to use the safety deposit boxes at reception. This annoyed us at first but really wasnt a big deal in the end. |
Great, worked fine :) |

Sarikantang Resort and Spa, Seekantang Beach Hi there! What can I say we absolutely loved every minute of our stay here at Sarikantang Resort! The location is fantasic as it is close to a nice, quiet beach and is close to town. Our standard bungalow was great, and was cleaned every day. The restaurant had awesome food and we always had great service! There is even a spa here and is right on the beach. The pick up service is great as well. We came back here 3 times during our stay in Thailand, 4 weeks in total. Everyone here is so friendly and helpful. Sarikantang Resort really is a home away from home. Thanks guys, we miss you heaps!!! Vee & Mel. |
Fast, efficient and easy to use. Thank you! |

Sarikantang Resort and Spa, Seekantang Beach great resort, we took the superior room which was nice, shower was outdoors from the room and it was great!!, resort is only 5 minutes walk from haadrin& the beach. the resort has swimming pool and private beach(layla) so you can relax without leaving. nice restaurant in the resort.friendly staff. we stayed for 5 nights and will come back again. |
very good and fast. |

Sarikantang Resort, Seekantang Beach Everything has been as we expected, we got a wonderfull bungalow along the beach and pool directly beside. The meal was great and our room has been cleaned up each day perfectly. If possible we would like to come around the place again. |

Sarikantang Resort, Seekantang Beach Sarikantang Resort could be rated more as a guest house rather than as a resort. The web site shows too little details of the place and what you see in the website is not what you get when you check in. Accomodations were very basic and our standard bungalow was considerably mouldy and not smelling nice as well. In a nutshell: it could be much much better than it was. Result: we stayed 2 nights instead of the week planned. |
Quick and efficient. No problems at all. |
| Martin Hansi & Sabrina Tucek 2005-09-10 until 2005-09-14 |
Sarikantang Resort, Seekantang Beach there were + and - things about this resort. first the positive things: the staff was nice and helpful. the beach (leela or sarikantang beach) was great and closest to the resort. white sandy beach but not good for snorkeling. very close to haad rin and the sunrise beach (where the fullmoon parties take place). by foot about 3 min. food was good and satisfying, great selection. negative things: after our arrival we discovered sperm in our bed although the room should have been cleaned. two dogs (each with only one eye) accompanied us every meal we had in the restaurant, this was not pleasant at all. on the first day we ve been told that our towels will be changed just every three days, because of the lack of water, we stayed for 4 days and this never happened. also our wooden bungalow had never been cleaned whilst our stay. if you want to get some sleep during stormy nights, dont book the wooden bungalow because trees are crashing into the roof the whole night. all in all for budget travellers ok! |
very good |

Sarikantang Resort, Seekantang Beach Nice people, our oceanview Suite was fantastic, clean place and restaurant. The food was ok but boring. The pool was fine but the beach was no good. The beach 10 min. away was good especially when travelling with kids. Quite place close to party. Our best recommendation. Hope to come back |
worked fine |
