Maddie Latimer 2009-02-12	Drop In Club Resort & Spa, Haad Rin Nok Hill As we arrived we were greeted, however walking through the construction work to get to our rooms wasn t pleasent. We had 3 rooms booked for 5 nights, in one of them there was mould in the room which you could smell, and also blood stains on the sheets. Another room had a powerpuf girl shower curtain. Our rooms looked out to a hallway and the windows on the other side were blocked off with wood so you couldn t see the construction work which was literally just behind it. The hotel looked absolutely nothing like it did on the internet, as the pictures made it look pretty good. We left within half an hour and we were extremely disapointed.
sarah de Man 2009-01-27	Drop In Club Resort & Spa, Haad Rin Nok Hill really nice place, away from the hectic main beach but close enough to stager home from it. the only word of caution is this place is under-construction at the moment, we were upgraded to a deluxe room to move us away from the construction noise, but you could still hear it!! when this place is finished it will be great just check the progress and see if there is still major construction going on when you want to come..	perfect
Donna Blake 2009-01-07	Drop In Club Resort & Spa, Haad Rin Nok Hill Good location as hotel is central between sunset and sunrise beach. A 5 min walk to either. Major construction going on in resort. We booked for standard wing but because of construction we were given a free upgrade to a deluxe suite. Room was great, very large and clean with a safe deposit box. Pool was a bit of a dissapointment but handy enough if you don t want to walk down to the beach. Free shuttle bus to the beaches or pier. Staff very friendly and helpful.	Fast and effective...thanks!

Damien Zuch 2009-01-03	Drop In Club Resort & Spa, Haad Rin Nok Hill I was looking forward to this hotel the most while staying in Thailand. Turned out to be the worst hotel I stayed in while in Thailand. The list of problems were endless. Broken telephone, no hot water, no water at all at times, shower pressure, TV fuzzy, few english channels on TV, power turning off, pool water didnt look clean therefore didnt swim and constuction next door basically 24 a day. The laundry service was the only positive. Management did credit us 1 night for our problems. Wait until the new hotel next door is finished!	No complaints.
Terri Day 2009-01-03	Drop In Club Resort & Spa, Haad Rin Nok Hill Awful, pool was dirty and not cleaned for the 5 days we were there, not enough sunbeds around the pool and very small. Staff were friendly and helpful, we had an executive suite and it definately wasn t! I accidently broke an ashtray and was charged for this (200 bhat) when we were paying in excess of 5,000 bhat per night. Wouldn t recommend this hotel at all.	Good

Daniel Bell 2009-01-02	Drop In Club Resort & Spa, Haad Rin Nok Hill Terrible resort, terrible service, terrible everything. They charged us an arm and a leg for a room overlooking a construction site, where work was on-going 18 hours a day. They charged us $1500 BHT for a new years dinner for some of the worst thai food I ve ever had. My rented moped went missing the day i was checking out, this despite the fact my key was locked in my safe. The hotel accused me of driving off drunk somewhere in the middle of the night and forgetting it somewhere. They even showed me footage on their security camera of someone driving off on a scooter at 5am. Unfortunately for them this person was bald and 40 and I m neither. When I asked to review the security video from the previous day the hotel informed me that it alone, of all days in the previous week, had been accidentaly deleted. They then took me to the police department to file a complaint where the police chief threatened to throw me in prison for lying to him. After several more hours of yelling with hotel staff, my scooter magically popped up right where it should ve been. I m convinced to this day the hotel staff attempted to steal the bike but later returned only because I made such a scene and because I had a bar tab of 5000 BHT that I refused to pay until my bike showed back up. And believe me, once it showed back up they were all over me paying that bill. It was probably the worst accomodation experience I ve ever had in all my years of travel.
Andreetta Ada 2008-12-23	Drop In Club Resort & Spa, Haad Rin Nok Hill Ottimo hotel belle camere pulite, grandi confortevoli e con ogni tipo di comodità ad un prezzo interessante.Si trova un po in alto rispetto al centro e si raggiungono i locali e la spiaggia in 15 min a piedi.L hotel ha una piscina poco invitante e un ristorante discutibile ma le camere sono le migliori che abbia trovato in thailand.L hotel dispone di un servizio navetta gratuita per la spiaggia.Quando ci sono stata io c era un ala di hotel in costruzione circa il 70% in più quindi all impatto iniziale di cantiere in costruzione poi vi ho trovato un ottima struttura.	perfetto

Miss Sarah Frances hancock 2008-12-13	Drop In Club Resort & Spa, Haad Rin Nok Hill we arrived at the hotel very excited because it was the most exensive hotel we had stayed in our whole travels so expected good things. we arrived to find the place looking like a building site, we couldnt use the pool because there were builders everywhere, at breakfast they were welding so sparks were literally flying everywhere, we were woken up at 8am from the noise of the building and it carried on till 11pm at night. we were really so disappointed and would not recommend anyone to go to this hotel, i cant believe we were not informed by sawasdee before we went, really was discraceful.

No warmwater at all. After only 2 days it begun to smell from the bathroom. Dirty pool without a cleaningmechanism. /Jacob	no problems.
Ali 2008-05-22	Drop In Club Resort & Spa, Haad Rin Nok Hill This hotel was greatbut more so because of the atmosphere than anything else. We met some amazing people around the pool (which was a bit dodgy but we didn t care) whilst sipping on cocktails and laying on our lie-lows. The hotel is set a bit out of the way on a hill in Haad Rin - it s easy to walk up and walk down though so don t be turned off by that. The rooms are exactly what you need - comfortable beds, clean rooms, clean bathrooms, hot water, bar fridge and aircon. The restaurant at the hotel is very ordinary and with all the different places to choose from to eat at in Haad Rin, I d definitely do that as opposed to eating at the restaurant. I don t think I managed to wake up in time or get home in time for one breakfast either but I heard from the people we met that it wasn t too great but I m not one to judge a hotel/resort by their food. I m more abotu the price and the rooms and these were both fantastic and hard to beat. We had a standard room but the people we met had poolside rooms which were huge and really nice too. Bathrooms were so good that I ended up using their bathrooms instead of our own!!! So perhaps I m still a bit of a princess when backpacking!!! The staff are really friendly and fun and whilst the hotel isn t party central like Coral Bunaglows had turned out to be, I think this hotel is a much better option these days as you re a bit away from it all but still very central and still able to have a good time but not be woken up if sleeping is what you plan to do a bit of in Koh Phangan. Would definitely recommend this place for backpackers, people looking for a cheap alterantive with all the trimmings and great value for money, and for people who are looking to be a bit removed from the full on a party scene that can sometimes be Koh Phangan. Perfect for relaxing days around the pool sipping on cocktails and meeting people whilst preparing yourselves for a rather large night on Sunrise beach!	Absolutely brilliant! Great rates and great service - had a few issues (because of me not because of the system) and staff were very helpful in clearing it up and communicating with me about it. Can t fault this site at all!

The hotel has a tradition of holding the largest pre full moon pool party and it gets messy. The pool was out of use for the duration of our stay. The was a huge disappointment. Trying to explain this to the reception staff was extremely difficult and they were very unhelpful. On a plus the rooms are great and fully equipped and the hotel is in a perfect location.	Cannot fault
Mr Anders Andersson 2007-07-11 until 2007-07-18	Drop In Club Resort & Spa, Haad Rin Nok Hill We stayed in Deluxeroom and it was very big and spacy. Bathroom with both shower and bathtub all nice and clean. The pool is smaller then it looks on pictures but nice with a jacuzzi part. But after 3-4 days the water became very dirty so non of the guests used it, we all went to the beach instead! We never saw anyone clean the pool during the 7 nights we stayed there! Breakfast was quite poor,not much to choose. Nice and friendly staff but they hardly speak any english. A bit overpriced but still a nice hotel.	No problem at all!!

Steve Grey 2006-10-06 until 2006-10-09	Drop In Club Resort & Spa, Haad Rin Nok Hill Lovely place, great location if you want to be close to the busy beaches for full moon parties but away from the noise (the resport is situated on a hill between the sunset and sunrise beach (Had Rin). Lovely pool, very clean room (we had a deluxe). Can t recommend enough. But do ensure you hire a scooter and get arpound the island as that is the real phangan and the full moon party was full of lunatics dancing till 10am. This is fine if you like techno and very fast trance but we d have liked some nice house grooves/chill out but there wasn t any bars offerinhg this - although the mountain bar and Rock bar are the best. Enjoy!	Perfect as usual
HEATHER EVES 2006-08-11 until 2006-08-17	Drop In Club Resort & Spa, Haad Rin Nok Hill The drop in is in an excellent location ,but that is about all that is good . the hotel is in SERIOUS need of up-dating the rooms are dirty and tatty with dirty sheets and smelly bathrooms. The pool area is very cramped and shabby looking . The staff were o.k , not bad , but not terribly friendly . During our stay we used the breakfast facility twice , choosing instead to go to the town and pay .BE AWARE THE CLUB/BAR IS NOT IN THE SAME LOCATION AS THE HOTEL .For the younger generation who want to party the island is an excellent place however you would find better accomadation closer to the beach and at a better price , out of 10 would rate the area 7 and the DROP INN 2 .	ABSOLUTY WONDERFUL BOOKING SERVICE , QUICK , EASY AND EXTREMLY PROFESSINAL
Deborah Miller 2006-07-23 until 2006-07-27	Drop In Club Resort & Spa, Haad Rin Nok Hill We were on our honeymoon, and unfortunatly, were quite disappointed with this hotel, especially after having read the sawadee reviews before booking. Location: central, about a 5 mins walk to the beach.. not on the beach. And, about a 5 mins walk to the town. This is the only positive factor. Food: Breakfast included w/ the hotel was limited. We had to leave the hotel to go for breakfast somewhere else. The chef however, for dinner was quite good and the food for dinner that you pay for, was great. But! Cats everywhere when eating makes it quite unpleasant day and night. Room: we had an ocean view which was beautiful. The rooms however, are old, the towels and sheets were brown in color, as well as the water in the sink and shower. We stayed 4 nights - the service that cleans the rooms do not really clean the room except for making your bed! Also, they were not very organized at check out, it took a long time for the hotel to get a staff member to check our room while we waited at the front desk, even though we called the front desk to inform them we were checking out 1 hour prior. Service: Front desk staff very helpful, but everywhere else there is a language barrier, so, it takes longer to ask or receive any type of service. Facilities: The pool is nicely located, however, it did not look very clean. Overall: Good location, however, if you are going to spend your money on a nice hotel, consider others in the area.	the service was easy to use and we had no problems. we would highly recommend sawadee and have already told others going to thailand about this site.

You get what you pay for in this world and i would rather pay extra and get something like the Drop in every time. The staff are very friendly and young i noticed but that means the service is quick and with a smile. You even get your own personal tuk tuk to take you to the port or beach for free. The rooms are lovely and i will be staying at the Drop in again in the near future.	Sawadee first class.

The staff was friendly... but none of them spoke English. A one minute conversation always turned into a ten to fifteen minute negociation. I hope the hotel eventually hires people that understand English.	Booking was easy, and there was never any problem with the hotels once we got there.

It was huge but full of ants, also the food isnt the best, apart from that good fun on the island and as it was full moon time the price was probably good for that time.	vey good took a while to get back to me but very easy to use

A Similar room on samui would be lucky to get 1200 a night. We checked in bathroom smelled bad,told them and they said its ok. In the morning toilet overflowed....not pleasant. Finally shifted us to another room. Hard to find a quality hotel on phangan...prob because its mainly drunken partyers on the island and they are young and not too fussy	excellent

CHRIS EMERY 2005-03-22 until 2005-03-25	Drop In Club Resort & Spa, Haad Rin Nok Hill The resort was far from cheap. I spent nearly £70 GBP per night and have never had worse value-for-money. The resort is NOT finished by any stretch of the imagination. The decor leaves much to be desired. I had a cockroach in the bathroom when i arrived and complained. THe water smells terrible and is brown (both in the pool and the sinks). Clearly someone is laughing that people are paying the money for such a poor resort. My advice - forget this resort and the bottom of Pha Ngan - head to the north.	No problems whatsoever with sawadee, just the resort

Knud Peters 2005-02-11 until 2005-02-16	Drop In Club Resort & Spa, Haad Rin Nok Hill Compared to the perfect published internet site, the first view disappoints a little bit. Nevertheless after you get used to the difference between the internet site and the real view, this hotel is quite nice. The staff is very friendly, the breakfast was over average good and the way to the beach was okay (when you get out of the hotel, go straight ahead to the beach and not right through the city), especially because they offer a transfer to the beach. The pool was not very clear through maintanance work next to the hotel, but it was clean and they checked the quality of the water often. The room maids changed everything, even the bed, every day. we booked a less expensive room and the view from the balcony is not very nice. But you have the possibility to look from the main door of your room to the sea. Perfect, quiete place to be on Koh Phangan, close to ferry to Koh Samui. Close to the centre, laundry just opposite to the hotel. I can really recommend this hotel.
Paloma 2005-01-23 until 2005-01-26	Drop In Club Resort & Spa, Haad Rin Nok Hill Fab hotel - rooms are spacious and nicely decorated. The pool area is lovely (we particularly enjoyed the pool bar!). The location is great, a short walk to the beach and all the action (this is particularly good if you are staying on the full moon night - you are very close, but it remains quite peaceful up there!). All in all, I can t wait to go back and can t recommend it enough!!	Excellent - thanks for all your assistance
Katie Grennall 2004-10-27 until 2004-10-30	Drop In Club Resort & Spa, Haad Rin Nok Hill Im sorry to say but it was the worst place we stayed all holiday.... the room was dirty for a start and very shabby, the airconditioning did not work and after a very hot night we were moved to a different room. When we booked up we booked a room with a sea view but that wasnt what we got... we had a view of the restaurant....and when i brought it up with owner he said his was the only room with a seaview so that was that. we had arranged with the hotel to pick us up but know one turned up and when we mentioned it at reception they just pretented they didnt understand. A shame really as it looked so good on your site. i wouldnt recomend it to anyone and it certainly is not a 4 star more like a 2.	Fantastic service but needs to check the grading on the hotels.

There is everything you need and it is only a short way from all the bars and shops. The facilities at Drop In are first class. The rooms are well equipped.	Fantastic service from Sawadee.com. No problems at all with bookings or payments.
