Mango Bay Grand Resort is one of the most secluded places on the island of Ko Tao or Turtle Island. The bay is full of colorful fishes, coral reefs and granite rocks reaching from the mountains down into the sea, forming an unusual underwater world. It`s an ideal and safe place for snorkelers of all ages.
All our bungalows are located on the shady hillside, hidden in the jungle. At Mango Bay you can still find huge old trees and we try to maintain the natural surrounding to protect the nature. We offer fan rooms for the budget travelers and three different kinds of air-conditioned bungalows. Seaview Fan and Seaview AC rooms are similar, all have a double bed, wardrobe, dressing table and bathroom with hot shower (about 25 sqm).
About the hotel: The location is very convenient for diving or snookling. The surroundings is amazing. The room is fine. The only weakness is that we have to climb up to reach our room, it s not that easy for a person who lives in a city and does not do much exercises. The day we checked out,we had to climb up to almost the top of the mountain to wait for the car;but it s another exciting experience --- the car ran so fast and the road was so steep.

About the hotel: what a great place - we had the best time. mango bay is the place for underwater life and the resort is so beautifully located. the (a/c) bungalows were nice with the greatest view on mango bay, though a little dimly lit. the restaurant serves good food & drinks at reasonable prices. the nice owner arranges everything you might need effectively. we can really recommend this place and will come again.

About the hotel: Be prepared for many, many steps up to bungalow! Not recomended for more than 2 persons. Extra bed is a madrass 3cm thin. Many items on meny not available.

About the hotel: Amazing here, very beautiful scenery. The staff are very nice, the waiter- Film Star , boat driver- Iron horse , boss-Big, and really lovely genteel dog-Panda. About the hotel: we arrive at Koh Tao around 1 pm and we call to P NOi(Im not sure about her name) bcoz they have free transfer(long tail boat) to their bungalow.its take around 30 min to get there.the water so clear, my bf enjoy taking picture of that place so much. Its really nice place. we enjoyed it so much.i also love snorkelling there. This place is for a REAL VACATION...relax,joyful,memorable.and we have a plan to come back again.

About the hotel: The Mango Bay is a really nice resort, it s amazing to see how the Italian owner did all these nice bungalows in the middle of the jungle with the sea just right underneath you.
The place is really isolated though, if you are looking for a quiet place to stay this is perfect. There is a shuttle service going once in the morning once at midday, so if you want to come back in the evening, you won t have an other choice than getting a jeep to bring you there or get a quad, i wouldn t recomend to go there by scooter, the street is really jungle-like and you must be a good driver. There is no free water in the room, electricity switches on in the evening and off in the morning, which means no hot shower during day time.
I would recommend the place if you want to stay 2, 3 days but not longer, unless you really want to have to completly switch off for a while…

All our bungalows are located

wood, equipped with a fully tiled bathroom with western toilet, hot
