Mango Bay Grand Resort is one of the most secluded places on the island of Ko Tao or Turtle Island. The bay is full of colorful fishes, coral reefs and granite rocks reaching from the mountains down into the sea, forming an unusual underwater world. It`s an ideal and safe place for snorkelers of all ages.
All our bungalows are located on the shady hillside, hidden in the jungle. At Mango Bay you can still find huge old trees and we try to maintain the natural surrounding to protect the nature. We offer fan rooms for the budget travelers and three different kinds of air-conditioned bungalows. Seaview Fan and Seaview AC rooms are similar, all have a double bed, wardrobe, dressing table and bathroom with hot shower (about 25 sqm).
About the hotel: Mango Bay is an idillic location. The resort is well run and family owned. The whole vibe of the place is relaxing and welcoming. You can dive almost from your bunglaow in to beautiful fish filled bright blue waters. If you enjoy snorkelling, scuba diving or just peace and quiet this place is the best!
About the hotel: The perfect location to go for snorkeling, room was clean and tidy, although we thought it was a little over priced for what you get. Would not of wanted to stay for more than the 2 nights we did as there is nothing else to do and no easy way to get into town - especially at night.

About the hotel: Lovely scenery and that is about it. The owner is a nice guy who has put his heart and soul into the place over the last 15 years, but Mango Bay still lacks many basic amenities that would be expected be Western travelers. If you don t expect to leave the resort during your stay and you re looking for an extremely remote location this could be a good spot. It is extremely difficult to reach by car and requires climbing many stairs.
About the hotel: The location is very convenient for diving or snookling. The surroundings is amazing. The room is fine. The only weakness is that we have to climb up to reach our room, it s not that easy for a person who lives in a city and does not do much exercises. The day we checked out,we had to climb up to almost the top of the mountain to wait for the car;but it s another exciting experience --- the car ran so fast and the road was so steep.

About the hotel: what a great place - we had the best time. mango bay is the place for underwater life and the resort is so beautifully located. the (a/c) bungalows were nice with the greatest view on mango bay, though a little dimly lit. the restaurant serves good food & drinks at reasonable prices. the nice owner arranges everything you might need effectively. we can really recommend this place and will come again.

About the hotel: Be prepared for many, many steps up to bungalow! Not recomended for more than 2 persons. Extra bed is a madrass 3cm thin. Many items on meny not available.

Transfer
The resort can only be reached by boat, scheduled transfer 2 times daily and free of charge
- Departure from Mae Haad pier: 10:30 hrs and 15:00 or 15:30 hrs
- Departure from Mango Bay Grand Resort: 8:00 hrs and 12:00 hrs
However in case of strong wind (Dec - Jan only) the transfer will be arranged by jeep and includes
a walk for about 10min downhill from the parking of the resort Please advise your arrival time at least 48 hrs before arrival! In case you cannot find the
driver, please contact the "Dive Point" about 20 meters from Lompraya pier
Electricity is available from 6pm to 10.00am
Extra bed is mattress 500 Baht and 100 Baht for child 1-11 year old (including breakfast)

guarantying your privacy. All but one of the bungalows are built from
wood, equipped with a fully tiled bathroom with western toilet, hot
water and a balcony.
