Shreyans Dugar 2009-06-24	Kanok Buri Resort, Lipa Noi Beach The hotel was in a great location in a very isolated beach... it was neat and clean and rooms were also well kept. The service of the hotel staff was courteous and they helped me out on whatever issues we had. The only challenge I had was on vegetarian food, the options for which were limited.	The booking process we seamless and vouchers were received on time. No issues faced during the booking and the staff were able to clarify all doubts over email.
Dmitry Balashov 2009-04-04	Kanok Buri Resort, Lipa Noi Beach fintastic hotel, they gave us fo free a better villa, i loved asia, it was my first treep, take a safari or rent a car take a look around. Many Budda oriented placeis to visit. Hotel had a wonderfull restaraunt pulla service, everything on A_ But not for ravers this is total chillout, quiet and peace.	AAA+++
Loh Valerie Teh Fen 2008-07-09	Kanok Buri Resort, Lipa Noi Beach It is a small, simple and charming hotel. But above all, staff is very kind and very helpful. The beach is beautiful and you have a kind of alone in the world feeling . I highly recommand this hotel as it is a very good value for money option in a preserved environment, far from tourism spots.	Smooth and safe. Good.
Menkoe 2008-05-16 until 2008-05-21	Kanok Buri Resort, Lipa Noi Beach very nice small 4 star hotel on Samui s probably last quiet beach. We enjoyed our stay in one of the pool villas tremendously, the villas are modern and clean and the private pool just big enough for a late night dip – standard in the villas: big LCD screen, DVD player and a shower from starship enterprise? The reservation staff where extremely friendly and helpful. The food at the restaurant is slightly overpriced but ok . Breakfast was unfortunately a let down; we would have preferred a small buffet. No jet skies or hawkers to be seen on this long beach . – Rent a scooter and Nathon is a mere 5 minutes away.	fast and efficient

CHRISTIAN MITATY 2008-05-15 until 2008-05-23	Kanok Buri Resort, Lipa Noi Beach The Kanok Buri Resort in Koh-Samui is a perfect place to rest: beautifully appointed and very clean room (we had a pool villa for 8 nights) with a good bed if you like a firm matress like we do,nice indoor/outdoor restaurant(and a choice of 5 different breakfasts,good enough to our standards,despite some other negative comments),very kind and helpful service (special thanks to Ms Kung!), manicured lush tropical garden, beautiful and clean beach, new fitness room with A/C(just on the other side of the road), beach towels galore (not displayed on the hotel s website)and free internet access (not insuite).Note that the location is 45 mns drive from the airport and Cheweng or Bo-Phut(but we were looking for a remote place,so no bad surprise for us),but you can rent unexpensive scooters from the reception to wander around easily. Among the small improvements at the restaurant,we would have appreciated to have more details about food or cocktails to avoid to eat or drink the same things everyday(personnel is not very trained to explain, though very kindly),more different fruit would be have been welcome(watermelon and pinapple are enough for a couple of times, and mangos or rambutans are available on every market at the season(we unsuccessfully have asked several times).These are small details as the Kanok Buri Resort remains a very good choice if you are looking for a human-scale and luxurious resort away from the Ibiza-style ambience and a very corteous staff. Our only regret was not to have tried a massage under the sala facing the sea (something we will try next time for sure!).	reliable, informative, in one word excellent !

A unique place to spend with your significant other, away from all. I d definitely recommended to my friends.	booking service worked perfectly, specialy considering our date changes requests
NICOLA 2008-01-04 until 2008-01-11	Kanok Buri Resort, Lipa Noi Beach beautiful & very clean premises. extremely friendly staff & the beach is one of the nicest quiestest small beaches we have been to in thailand. would highly recommend this resort for ultimate relaxation time out with the most amazing sunsets. great restaurant next door named big johns .
Makiko Shinohara 2007-12-01 until 2007-12-03	Kanok Buri Resort, Lipa Noi Beach My husband and I were there in the beginning of December, The hotel was an ideal place to wind down and relax. The staff are very friendly, The room (garden view cottage) was clean, comfortable and nicely designed. However, The bathtub and Shower unit in our room could have been bigger. The Beach in front of the hotel was beautiful, quiet and clean. The food was also very good. We would definitly reccomend this resort and the beach!!
SERENA BRUGNOLI 2007-08-25 until 2007-09-02	Kanok Buri Resort, Lipa Noi Beach This was our fouth trip to Thailand and second year on Samui, having already sightseeen all the main beaches . We chose this resort mainly because small, on a nice calm beach far from the crowds and chaos of Chaweng and Lamai. ROOM : we booked a seaview room in the main building . The room was nice and comfortable but very noisy owing to heavy trucks and cars traffic running on the road alongside the hotel starting from 5 a.m., where no walls shield the rooms from the road. SERVICE : very gentle and smiling in general but very lazy and ineffective at the restaurant, with a too poor English . RESTAURANT : this is probably one of the weakest points at Kanok Buri. Seen the miserable breakfast we had the first morning we did not want to try a dinner. These were the worst breakfasts we had in Thailand obviously compared to the Resort rating and price paid : no buffet, but this is not the point. We love tropical fruits so we ordered some fresh fruits : we got a miserable tea saucepan with six tiny bites of pinapple and watermelon and dragon fruit. Every morning the same 3 kind of fruits, no variation.Toast was made of old bread and eggs were not fresh . Everything was very low quality and not fresh. This for us is a very bad point because one of the holiday s pleasures is to have a long rich breakfast English style not having to run to work. BEACH : Lipa Noi is still an unspoilt pristine beach with a magnificent view of islets in front : very few people, no skijets and chaos,safe swimming,no bars and clubs a fishermen s village on one end.But do not expect cristalline emerald waters : they are ok, with a nice color but no longer cristalline or emerald , but this is everywhere in Samui.Many broken glasses ! LOCATION : you have to be very independent and either rent a vehicle or make an agreement with a taxi from Nathon , because Kanok Buri is very isolated , no restaurants nearby apart from Big John and no shopping of any kind possible. Nathon is only 5/6 km away and there you have very fresh fish and lots of shopping at very good prices. CONCLUSION : we believe that Kanok Buri is rather overpriced and badly managed, they should lower the prices by at least a 30% to make it worth while. An Italian couple.	With had a second positive experience with Sawadee ,everything went very efficiently.
Mr. Sun He 2007-08-24 until 2007-08-25	Kanok Buri Resort, Lipa Noi Beach We come from China, stayed in Kanok hotel Sweet Seaview Room with my wife for wedding anniversary. The room is definitely clean, lovely and comfortable, a bathtub is set on the balcony, sure with a beautiful garden and sea view. Bathroom also big and breezy. Staffs are enthusiastically and helpful, we are warmly welcomed by receptonist miss Kung, I don t know if I spell her name right, but impressed by her smile. We even rent a motorbike from hotel and price is reasonable. Must stay in hotel during 6-7 pm, on the west side beach, we enjoyyed the stunning sunset view and took many pictures back. No many activities around the hotel, only a seafood restaurant called Big John by the left side of hotel, seafood is good!But if ride motorbike for 15 minutes to Nathon pier you can eat many delicious street food, must try the chick rice!!	Very efficient.
Lorna Coombes 2007-07-30 until 2007-08-01	Kanok Buri Resort, Lipa Noi Beach Well, what can I say. The hotel and staff are wonderful. Possibly the quietest hotel I ve ever stayed in but this was just perfect for our pre-wedding nights and honeymoon (married next door in Faraway Villa which was also fantastic). The rooms are immaculate and very well presented. It s quite pricey in comparison to other hotels but for a special occasion is just perfect - especially a honeymoon or similar. The hotel is on the quieter side of the island so not much to do in the evenings - recommend hiring a hire to get out and about once and while. Big John s seafood next door is scrummy also!!	fine
Abdul F 2007-07-23 until 2007-07-26	Kanok Buri Resort, Lipa Noi Beach The hotel is nice and their staff are very helpful and polite. They went of their way to help us and make things as easy as possible. The only thing that I was dissatisfied was not being able to use the Jacuzzi as yellow color water was coming out of it, they tried to fix it however it was never better.	Fast and easy. In conclusion, it’s perfect.
Nadine Nagel 2007-07-08 until 2007-07-16	Kanok Buri Resort, Lipa Noi Beach The third time in Thailand, but the first at Koh Samui. We enjoy our stay at Kanok Buri. The hotel is new and beautiful, the rooms are good sized and we stayed at the pool villa with own pool. It was the first row at beach and swimming pool. A wonderful expierience. The staff was alsways friendly, but you could recognize that the hotel is new and not all things going the right way every day. Every day at breakfast there are some differences from ordering the breakfast to the definitly breakfast we get. The choice is small and the food at restaurant is so expensive but the quality could be better. The beach is so flat, and not good for swimming but with a wonderful sundown. I can recomment the hotel definitly. It was great and some things going wrong every time in every hotel.... :o)	Perfect!!1
Jill Mattice 2007-05-03 until 2007-05-10	Kanok Buri Resort, Lipa Noi Beach Beautiful hotel and wonderful staff. We stayed in a pool villa and was well worth it. The grounds, room, bed, linens were perfect and the staff were friendly and attentive. Fabulous Beach,I think Lipa Noi is by far the nicest on the island. Great for swimming, the depth is gradual. This resort is out of the way on the west side of the island, very private and away from the noise of Chewang. You will need to rent a motorbike or Jeep to get around as the taxi s can be very expensive. The breakfast is ok, and the only coffee served with breakfast is instant. If you want regular coffee it is quite expensive as is all food in the restaurant. We usually do not eat in the resorts and try many different restaurants. We will stay here again!! Next door is Big John s seafood and is wonderful to eat at, good food, great service and good prices! Only a short ride into Nathon if you prefer to go there for dinner. Chewang is about 20-25 minutes away.	Great as always!
Gharbaoui Mohammed 2007-04-02 until 2007-04-10	Kanok Buri Resort, Lipa Noi Beach Great, Splendid, Excellent. Ideal for family with children. It s like home, everything is close. The staff are wonderfull. The beach very quiet and not dangerous. Be carefull, if you want animation is not the good place. The food was excellent with many choices. I recommended and I will come back again.	excellent as usual
Ricky Wong 2007-03-09 until 2007-03-16	Kanok Buri Resort, Lipa Noi Beach The hotel is laying on a quiet sunset beach at the area call Tong Yang, it is far away from the busy beach chaweng from about 35 minutes drive (base on how fast you drive). I stay in a seaview superior room with a private terrace and a jacuzzi install on the terrace where I can enjoy open space in the natural atmosphere, the decoration of rooms are designed in thai style, staff cleaning up room, provide drinking water etc every morning. Beacuse the breakfast here is not in buffet style, that s serve in order and cook style so I can have hot breakfast everyday no matter how late I woke up (the lastest 1000 hours). I found there s a gym in the hotel, inside there all the equipments are brand new and function, well lucky that s the aera I can find air-con besides of my room but I never stay long in the gym as so many exercises I can do on the beach. All the staff here are helpful with smile. However the pool area is not so big that may be you have to find your tanning area on the beach but there s no sun block umbrella on the beach. On the other hand, there s only a famaous seafood restaurant in the next door but some restaurants and bars (those bars open to the mid-night with local life rock players) in the area call Boh Nathan nearby only 10 minutes drive, well you can take taxi, rent a car or a bike to visit nearby area, the busy Chaweng Beach and Lamai Beach to have food and sight seeing all around the island. All in all, this hotel is perfect in its location, service, room facility, if you want noisy music, young night life that s not the place, but for honey moon, enjoy quiet life, Kanok Buri Resort is the paradise. VIVES 2007-02-16 until 2007-02-20	Kanok Buri Resort, Lipa Noi Beach Magnificent hotel. Very nice staff. Excellent location if you are looking for the real koh samui as it was 15 years ago. Quiet, nicest beach of the island and hopefully very few hotels around. We stayed with a family of 2 plus 3 children. They spent their best holidays ever. We RECOOMEND IT ABSOLUTELY. The boss even offered a birthday cake for our one year baby... and gifts to everyone.	excellent
Rohit Beri 2007-02-01 until 2007-02-08	Kanok Buri Resort, Lipa Noi Beach Gr8 Resort Value for Money Booked a Sweet Sea View Room. Everything was perfect. Only problem is resort is far 27 KMs from Chaweng but beach is very quiet. We hired a bike and our life was good. NO probs. Hotel Staff very friendly and helpful. Food is also nice. Gr8 for honeymooner looking for privacy	Simply Gr8. Response time was quick.
