Barbara Kubiena 2009-02-14	The Library, Chaweng Beach Fantastic design with lots of really clever and eye catching features. A little oasis in the midst of bustling Chaweng. The rooms were terrific, although it was a shame that the storage space for clothes was so limited and that there were no bedside lights- although these are small points. The pool \ bean beds\ were fantastic, the laptop in the room a real plus, and the bar by the beach marvellous, not to mention eye catching. Food in the restaurant is terrific althoug, compared to other Chaweng restaurants, probably a little on the expensive side.	Excellent and hassle free. Everything worked according to plan.

Alexandra Maggioni 2008-02-27 until 2008-03-03	The Library, Chaweng Beach The Library is a very stylized and minimalist oasis in the madness of Chaweng Beach. It s ideal if you are looking for a very lowkey escape with very very close mayhem nearby. I loved my stay .. A few minor complaints include that the operator was not particularly helpful in connecting a call to room service or to the spa. On the plus side, this hotel is so unique and each room has so many great amenties.

Booking system works well, except that emails from sawadee.com tend to get identified as spam, so I was initially losing mine: you may need to tell your spam filter to accept emails from them.
Madame MT 2007-08-05 until 2007-08-16	The Library, Chaweng Beach Overall hotel is great. Rooms and pool/beach areas are first class and provide the luxury resort experience we were hoping for. Breakfast was great until they changed to buffet style part way through our stay and was only average thereafter. Hotel does not do the little things you may expect in this price range such as providing cold towels through the day so if this bothers you you may be best to look elsewhere. We really enjoyed our stay however and would recommend the hotel provided you are prepared to part with some serious cash.	Very easy and no problems again. Always use Sawadee for Thailand trips.

Very friendly staff, and really superb rooms (at least if you like modern style). The thing they can improve is some more storage space for clothes!	Everything went very smooth!
Petkee 2007-04-05 until 2007-04-08	The Library, Chaweng Beach Excellent Hotel, despite in Chaweng Beach, it s quite exclusive and quiet. Despite the minimal design, the rooms are very well appointed. It s also extremely convenient with lots of nice restaurant in walking distance. Did not have any problem with the service and unlike earlier guest, had not problems with communications with the staff. Only complaint, no massage service within the hotel. Would definitely go back, sooner rather than later.	Very smooth, no problems. As mentioned in some previous reviews, i believe sawadee.com offers the best rates, which includes service charge and tax (10% + 7% repectively). Most other on-line rates do not include s/c & tax.

Management dreadful, however: I was travelling alone, which they considered reason to give me a speech on arrival about guests not being allowed (I assumed they meant Thai prostitutes and was not concerned). Since I was paying the full price for two persons and a (British) friend of mine who had been diving on Koh Tao would be on Koh Samui for a few days, I announced that he would be sharing my room: they immediately insisted I pay an extra THB 1,600 on top of the full double-room price and it took a great deal of effort to persuade them otherwise. Nevertheless, I d go back there any time.

Annette Merrild 2007-01-29 until 2007-01-31	The Library, Chaweng Beach A beautiful design hotel with lovely big rooms and good location – this you can’t take away. But the staffs do hardly speak English and the service is NOT after the price level!! A hotel only for people who travel light because there are no place to put your suitcase or things. Typical – great design – but forgotten that things has to be usable too. The Suites are not recommendable because they are more or less the same as the studios and they all have no views there they are in the ground floor. So I recommend the studios!	We had a very bad experience at The Library. First we booked for 2 nights with no problem and then we decided to stay one more night after arrival. We paid again though Sawadee there this is much cheaper as anywhere else. (What really important is to see if taxes are included in the prices – this can be up to 18 % cheaper) Well the hotel got mad about that we didn’t pay directly tough them at the hotel and cancel our booking at Sawadee. They said that first you are checked in at the hotel you can no more use Sawadee for booking. We have never heard anything like this before – so remember to book all the nights you want before cheking in! Sawadee shut also contact their client better when things like this happens.
