About the hotel: One of the best value for the money resort I ve stayed in (low season prices ;-)). We booked the Garden Villa contemporary style and the room was great with an interesting half open bathroom. The location couldn t have been better right on Chaweng beach and the restaurant (Karebu) had great food and was the best of the ones we tried along Chaweng beach. Price included complementary breakfast and afternoon tea (snacks, coffee, tea, juice) at the restaurant. Service was top notch. Overall, really excellent resort and I would definitively recommend this place.
About the reservation service: Great, although didn t confirm our request for contemporary style garden villa instead of thai style.
About the hotel: very pretty garden, the bungalows need renovation and some painting. room cleaning was done in the afternoon. But very good breakfast, just sometimes with ordered pieces missing. The wireless internet worked excellent and the free dvd library are a nice extra free-of-charge service. Thus a bit overpriced for what you get. The beach was great, but the jet ski rental starts at 5pm to pick up all jet skies of Koh Sumai
About the reservation service: credit card payment worked fine and the support with email was outstanding. Almost like instant massaging
About the hotel: Beautiful traditional huts and the Pure spa at the hotel had very good deals however too many mosquitoes. I think it is ridiculous that there is a water feature right under my hut/ hotel room and there are no fishes or fountain to prevent the water from being stagnant so its an ideal breeding ground plus the big pond in the middle of the compound. Otherwise it is a beauty.
About the hotel: The hotel quite nice. The biggest advantage-very green and cozy territory with many big trees and a lot of different flowers, charming pond with small fishes and Thai style house. I think it necessary to add that hotel quite old, and if to be strict, it feels in some details.
But In general -pleasant place, quite far from noisy night life.
p.s. I found that Spa better than it looks from tha glimpse.
About the hotel: Very good hotel, nice and quiet. Breakfast was superb although the staff didn t always understand what we ordered. The villa we stayed in was well equipped with everything you needed. The partly outdoor bathroom was very romantic but unpractical, with lots of small stones on the floor making it difficult to keep clean, dirt falling down between the stones. The porch/veranda didn t have a roof amaking it impossible to sit outside when it was raining. also it didn t have a railing offereing soem protection you were sitting like on a sceen visible to everyone passing by, no privacy. The staff were very fiorendly and helpful especially the young men who worked serving the beach and pool area. The room was clean, the chamber maids very friendly.
About the hotel: A beautiful resort, probably one of the older ones on Chaweng and consequently has a beautiful mature garden. Travelled with two children. My wife and I had the older Thai style room. The kids got the new room. The Thai style rooms are elevated and had beautiful character and a great balcony which my wife loved. Personally I would have chosen the new room which the kids got, less character but better bathroom. Restaurant was fine and staff friendly. All in all a good resort, no complaints.
About the reservation service: Absolutely no problems. Fast and efficient.
About the hotel: We had a wonderful time at Le paradis. The hotel is beautiful and very quiet, just what we were looking for, right on the beach, the outdoor bathroom is really fun, and the service and food were also great. it was a great choice.
About the hotel: Great facilities and very friendly staff who are always happy to help where possible. The Thai traditional bungalows are absolutely beautiful. We stayed in an oceanview bungalow which was picture perfect.
Being able to lie in the pool or on the sunbeds which were plentiful and look out to the ocean and the beach was just magic. Full service at the pool also for those who never want to leave.
I would highly recommend this resort. Great prices and great accommodation.
About the reservation service: I alway book with Sawadee. Quick and efficient booking service.
