Koh Samui Resort, Ban Tai The deluxe-bungalows are very nice with outside shower. The people were very friendly and helpful! The service was without any doubts. Only the location was a little bit afield - not for those who want have a party every night. |
Booking works very well and very quick !
Absolute no problems. |

Koh Samui Resort, Ban Tai We visited the Koh Samui Resort for the second time. It is situated off the beaten track in a calm area of Koh Samui. In front of the hotel there is a beautiful mile long, sandy, palm-lined beach. The hotel itself is well equipped and clean. All rooms dispose of a large bathroom, air condition, a TV and a computer with Internet for free. The restaurant is situated close to the beach. The food is excellent. Although the staff tried to do their best we have to citizen that only a few of them spoke English. The staff in the restaurant were very helpfull but overstrained. All in all we really enjoyed our stay in the Koh Samui Resort. |

Koh Samui Resort, Ban Tai Koi Samui resort exceeded our expectations and was a wonderful place to hold our son s wedding. The bungalows were amazing, thte setting beautiful and the Management and staff were very organised and so helpful. The food at wedding was also delicious and plentiful. Thank you once again to Jackie and her staff for a wonderful wedding week. |
very organised and efficient. |

Koh Samui Resort, Ban Tai This is a small independent resort. The rooms themselves are well appointed and well finished. The reception staff are lovely but generally the restaurant and bar staff need a lot more training. The food is generally good but was overpriced as were drinks. Breakfast however was not good. The hotel has a great location right on a beautiful beach with stunning views and sunsets. Would we return probably yes but more for the beach and tranquility. The bar area was being renovated for the whole week we were there so we had drills, hammers, circular saws, paint and varnish smells all week which did mar our relaxation. |
Very good booking service |

Koh Samui Resort, Ban Tai we had a wonderful stay here. the room was slightly small as we had an extra bed in there for our son but it was adequate for the 3 nights we stayed. the staff were very friendly and helpful. the only down side for some people would be (we didn t think so)that it is very isolated but, if you want peace and quiet, a lovley pool and a beautiful beach they are all here! |

Koh Samui Resort, Ban Tai My wife and I stayed at the Koh Samui Resort for six nights and it was a very relaxing environment. The room was clean and well-stocked with a TV (but very poor channel selection, almost all Thai channels and no cable, which CAN be had in neighbouring resorts), computer with Internet, a mini-bar and a lovely main window/wall which could be unlocked and folded to allow an open-air view of the terrace. A nice touch was the beach hat and bag combination left in the room for our use - my wife bought the bag from the reception desk. One complaint, however, was the air conditioner (Bungalow A103) which sounded like an airplane engine and was quite disturbing. There is a small pool in the middle of the grounds - looks larger in the photos, as does everything - with chairs around, a nice place to relax. The food is very good though the room prices and food prices are more than what you can find at neighbouring places. We enjoyed our stay, great service, but in retrospect we spent far too much and would opt for a cheaper alternative next time. Still, this resort is quiet and well-placed on a quiet strip of Bang Por beach. We suggest walking to the left (as you face the sea) a couple of hundred metres for a better swimming area. This resort is small and seemed to attract couples more than anyone else. Still, with so many great options to choose from, we recommend looking around before booking. We also found that many places had vacancies and you could just walk up and book a room. |
No problems. Prompt replies to inquiries and everything handled chick-chack. |

Was will mann mehr. Schoenere Bilder gibt es noch ueber www.kosamuiresort.com |
Die Buchung ueber Sawadee hat sehr gut geklappt, inkl. transfer vom Hotel. |

Koh Samui Resort, Ban Tai Located directly by the shore and away from the noisy main roads it gave us a relaxed and tranquil ending of our holiday. Beach and water is very good with a reef good for snorkeling. Bungalows of good standard, AC a little to noisy though. Restaurant with a great variety of dishes with really good food. Nice dinner on the beach in the evenings. I can definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a tranquil and quiet holiday away from the noise! A negative thing is the high prices for transportation (taxi) ordered from the hotel. Taxis are unfortunately very expensive on Samui in general. |
No problems! |

Koh Samui Resort, Ban Tai Me and my wife stayed here for five nights in Januray 2008. We can fully recommend this hotel. Great staff, clean and spacious rooms, good resturant, nice beach, very calm and relaxed environment. The room has cable tv, and computer with internet access. The resort is quite small, only 20 or so rooms. It is very quiet so if you want to have a peaceful time, this is where you should go. The beach is clean and not crowded, with only a few resorts. It s a 10 minute walk to the main road where you can catch a hop on/off taxi to anywhere on the island. 50B/person to chaweng for example. You can also rent car or moped at the resort. |
Our vacation was around new years eve. Many hotels we requested were full, so we had to try several times before we could get a confirmation. It would have been helpful if sawadee had suggested alternative hotels for us. When we finally got the confirmation everything worked fine with booking, deposit and check in at hotel. |

Koh Samui Resort, Ban Tai Positive: Very friendly and happy staff, as most Thai people. New towels and the room was cleaned every day (we came back here also 21/12 to 28/12 after visiting Koh Tao for five nights). Good food in the restaurant. Reception staff speaks English quite well. Negative: Smells bad from the bathroom (at least in the combined rooms, no 302 etc.). No beach in front of the Resort, but if you walk a few 100m to the left you find a better one! The water is not clear and a lot of sea grass on the beach. Over priced Resort, both for the rooms and food. You can eat tasty lunch/dinner for half of the price if you go to Mai restaurant, a few hundred meters backwards on the bad road. Overall: Clean, nice and peaceful area, friendly staff. If you like to just relax and read a book, to do nothing , this is the place for you! |
Booking, payment and confirmation was excellent and fast! |
| Marcin 2007-11-06 |
Koh Samui Resort, Ban Tai We were at the end of the low season. Positive: Internet in the room. peaceful area, for people who want to rest without discos, and crowds. Negative: Smells bad from the bathroom. Ants in the bungalow. Overpriced resort. |

Koh Samui Resort, Ban Tai When i first arrive at the hotel I was upsad, cause of the beach was not safe to swim, but the staff made me very welcome. In the end I had a wonderful holiday and ready to go back next year. |

Koh Samui Resort, Ban Tai Nice and clean hotel, friendly staff, good food. But the hotel is in the middle of nowhere, the only way to get in and out is by taxi. During our staying there were only 2 more rooms occupied, the rest is empty. Located on a windy side of the island, beach is clean. Nice views of sunset. |
e-voucher wasnt sent in time, but there were no problems with check-in as the hotel was almost empty |

Aucun souci impeccable |

Koh Samui Resort, Ban Tai My family and I have spent 8 wonderfull days at Koh Samui Resort. Location is now unique in Koh Samui; it is very peacefull and there is only few people on the beach. The view is breathtaking with sunset on the Angthong islands and koh Phangan. The bungalows are exquisitely furbished with AC, TV and free internet access; nice bathroom with hot water, all very clean. The garden and swimming pool are both very nice and refreshing when the heat is too strong. The service is very good, the staff is always smiling and helpfull. The restaurant offers good thai and european cooking for a decent price, there are also other restaurants at walking distance. We definitely recommend a stay at Koh samui resort. |
Efficient, no bad surprises. |
| Ulf Maass 2007-06-29 until 2007-07-12 |
Koh Samui Resort, Ban Tai A most pleasant experience. The resort provides a very peaceful and relaxing setting with beautiful gardens, a larhe swimming pool and, of course, a beach. Our room (deluxe villa) was very generous, very clean and comfortable, with a large terrace and an outdoor shower (in addition to the regular indoor shower). The rooms was airconditioned and equipped with a fridge inclusive mini bar, televison (cable service) and telephone. All rooms are built around a beautiful swimming pool. The resort removed from main traffic arteries. Entertainment and shopping centres like Chaweng or Bo Phut can be reached by Samui-Taxis, metered taxis, or by self-drive cars or motor bikes inside of 30 minutes travel. We chose to walk to the main road, about 15 minute walk, and catch a Samui-Taxi. This was fun and allowed us to see a little more of main stream Koh Samui and its people. All resort staff were very professional, friendly and helpful. Bar facilities and restaurant were competitively priced and had an excellent selection of cuisine and drinks, including cocktails. Food quality, quantity and bar service were well on par with that of 5 star facilities elsewhere on the island. The restaurant and bar setting overlook the ocean and make for a romantic evening meal and or drinks. Food and drinks are prepared expertly. The cheerful reception personnel will organise a large range of tours, safaris and taxi services as well as the hire of motor bikes, self-drive cars and chauffeur driven cars. A variety of different massages, manicures and pedicures are available by the pool. An experience we will cherish for a long time and the next time we need to chill out again, Koh Samui Resort will be on our list. My only regret was that my Thai language skills were non-existing. Thankfully, most resort staff spoke enough English so that we could get by. In summary, what made the difference for us were the quiet location of the resort and above all the staff. Their attitude, helpfulness and friendly smiles made us feel like we were part of the family. |
We booked via the internet and had absolutely no problems. The response from the booking agent was prompt and professional. |

Koh Samui Resort, Ban Tai This hotel was perfect. Far away from the crouded an awfull Chaweng area, but close enough to the other points of interest. The rooms are very nice and big, free internet is also available. Restaurant prices are quite high though, but you can rent a scooter for only 200BHT per day to go out for dinner and tourism. We certainly are going back there! |

Koh Samui Resort, Ban Tai Very personal and secluded resort. The kids loved the pool although there wasn´t any children area. Small reef by the beach. A little overpriced compared to other resorts we visited but we went back for another 3 nights before our journey back home because of the friendly atmosphere and the FANTASTIC food. |

Koh Samui Resort, Ban Tai We stayed at the resort for 3 nights and had a fantastic time. Located on a clean, sandy beach, this hotel has everything you could want for a relaxing stay. The rooms were very well designed and the large wet room and outdoor shower were impressive. The food served in the restaurant was great and very reasonably priced. The only downside is that you need to hire a car/bike to get anywhere - the resort is a good 15-20 minutes from the main road and then a few kilometres from the nearest bars/markets. The staff were very helpful and I would recommend the resort to anyone wanting a peaceful retreat. |
Very efficient! I would recommend to anyone! |
| Joerg Zenk 2007-03-21 until 2007-03-29 |
Koh Samui Resort, Ban Tai The resort is very nice and remote from the busy ringroad. Excellent for a calm stay. Unfortunataly we had a bungalow close to the mainarea, where you can hear the deliveryvan and the noisy staff every early morning. The breakfast was very bad. Most people took food from the supermarket to upgrade the breakfast. After the good reviews on Sawadee we expected more. All in all the Koh Samui Resort is overpriced and we had much better hotels in this pricelevel. |

Koh Samui Resort, Ban Tai Koh Samui Resort is one of the most beautiful places we have stayed. The rooms are immaculate, the staff always greet you with a smile & the service is exceptional. The beach is a total paradise and not at all crowded. Watching the sunset from the beach bar was definitely a highlight! Not to mention the ladies that do massage by the pool! Can t wait to stay there again! |
Booking service was very simple. Everything was in order when we arrived, which made our stay delightful. |

Koh Samui Resort, Ban Tai Really nice and quiet resort. This is the place to relax and gather your thoughts. We stayed in a deluxe room, which was beautiful, with a real nice terrace. The pool area is super with two sala thai, one used by the sweetiest massage-ladies. The staff was very helpfull and you got the clear impression, that they enjoyed their work. The beach is great, so is the water. The restaurant was nice, good thaifood. Wine somewhat overpriced. The included breakfast was very simple, and could need a upgrading. All in all koh samui resort is highly recommendable. |
Worked perfectly! |

Koh Samui Resort, Ban Tai Our 2nd visit and just as good as the first in 2006. Friendly staff, excellent quiet location on the beach with good food . Very relaxing. We will return in 2008 |

Koh Samui Resort, Ban Tai Actually we are still staying here as we enjoyed this place so much. Very friendly staff, great place to stay for families with kids who don t need to visit shops. It s about 10 min walk to the main road, there we grab a cab to where we want to go. Beach is great. We had a drink at one of the five star resorts here at the coast, and the staff there can learn from the staff here. The breakfast is okay, dinner is great, good fruit shakes. You have to try the banana pancakes from Annie when he comes by. |
Great service would use it again |

Koh Samui Resort, Ban Tai This was our 2nd visit this year. The hotel is perfect for a get-away-from-it-all break. The staff are as helpful as ever, with lovely clean rooms. We will go back again. |
So easy and quick service. |
| Susan Clark 2006-10-12 until 2006-10-15 |
Koh Samui Resort, Ban Tai THis resort was the perfect place for our 3 day get-away. The service was great, the Thai food yummy and the location was off the main road in beautiful tropical surroundings. This is not a resort for tourists who want lots of activity around them. THe peace and quiet was wonderful. And the view of the beach was marvelous. We were easily able to get tours out for travelling to other islands. Great place to stay for a reasonable price. |
Easy and great service. |

Koh Samui Resort, Ban Tai Fantastic hotel!!!! Better than the pictures on the website. Private beach with barely no people around and beautiful landscape. Restaurant by the sea with a large variety of thai and international food, not too expensive. Nice and helpful staff. Away from Maenam center and perfect for a relaxing holiday. |
No problems at all. Very efficient and easy! |
| Mette Herp 2006-07-13 until 2006-07-23 |
Koh Samui Resort, Ban Tai Great hotel and staff! We can only give this place our best recommendations. The beach is great and all the surroundings are unspoiled! Hopefully we will be back next year! |
Booking went just smoothly - there is absolutely no need to use a travel agent when you just can book online@www.sawadee.com. |

Koh Samui Resort, Ban Tai The resort was wonderful - the perfect place to unwind and relax. If you don t want the crowds, this is the place to be. Breakfasts were great and the restaurant food very reasonably priced. The rooms were more than adequate. After driving around the island one day we realised we had made the best choice! |
Very easy and user friendly. |
| Wendy & Phil Hopkinson 2006-07-01 until 2006-07-02 |
Koh Samui Resort, Ban Tai Quiet, peaceful location. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms more than adequate. Free internet a nice touch. We enjoyed our stay at Koh Samui Resort. Location is a little far from restaurants and shopping, but more than made up for by unique quiet location. No problem if you have transport. |

| Janine Francke 2006-06-21 until 2006-06-30 |
Koh Samui Resort, Ban Tai Small and clean resort with good value for money. On a very remote road, which was great for us, because we never had to worry about our small children getting run over by a car. The staff was very helpful especially with the kids. We could easily leave the kids in the room for their afternoon nap and go to the beach. The cleaning ladies would always let us know when one of the kids had woken up and was crying or they would even bring them to us. The restaurant is good if you know what to take. We stayed for 9 days and ate our way through the menu. All the thai dishes can be highly recommended, the pizzas are yummie and the pasta quite good. But stay away from the chef s recommendations or other more pricey western dishes. Not good at all and three times more expensive than the thai dishes. |

Koh Samui Resort, Ban Tai Very nice little spot, well out of the way on the north of Koh Samui. Highly recommend. The island however, is a burnt-out tourist trap for fat Poms. 10 years past its used-by-date. |
Simple = good. |

Koh Samui Resort, Ban Tai We stayed here on the last part of our tour in Thailand. It was the perfect place to unwind before going home. We stayed in the Deluxe bungalow and it was beautiful. I found the people there extremely friendly. It is a bit out from the main area but it is great for relaxation. |
excellent |

Koh Samui Resort, Ban Tai It was perfect, the food and the surroundings but especially the super friendly people who work at the resort, it was a great experience. |
All worked out fine! |
| Carmen 2006-04-05 until 2006-04-08 |
Koh Samui Resort, Ban Tai A small resort with lots of charm. Unfortunately, it s REALLY isolated with virtually nothing around - if you didn t want to eat hotel food for breakfast, lunch and dinner then you d have to get a taxi to go out everyday which we found quite costly and inconvenient. We were booked in for 10 nights but left after the 4th and moved to another hotel closer to town in Bophut. |
Excellent |
| Barry Strange 2006-04-03 until 2006-04-18 |
Koh Samui Resort, Ban Tai A very nice, quiet resort. Staff are very friendly and efficient. Having a private beach is a real bonus and the presence of a reef means that the water is shallow and calm. Accomodation is clean and comfortable. Food in the restaurant is very good and reasonably priced but the cocktails can be expensive compared to elsewhere. Following on from other comments, breakfast is ok, lots of fresh fruit and various ways of eating eggs, but it does get samey if you are staying for a while. Also, the resort is very remote. We were a group of 6 and it was quite expensive to use taxis. In the end we resorted to a mixture of jeeps and mopeds for transport as this was the cheapest way. Overall, I would recommend this resort for a quiet relaxing holiday. |
Very smooth, no problems. |
| Sabrina Fleiss 2006-02-15 until 2006-02-18 |
Koh Samui Resort, Ban Tai Nice, nice, nice !!! One of the best small Bungalows-Resorts that wie stayed in all holidays. Great !! We come back when we will go to Samui next time. |
Very good and fast ;-) |

Koh Samui Resort, Ban Tai Everything about the resort was fantastic - friendly staff, excellent accommodation, great location ( excellent restaurant, meals taken 10 metres from waters edge) - all we wanted in our holiday. Travelled to many other areas on Samui, and were thankful we chose Koh Samui Resort for our stay. We wanted a quiet holiday, and we got exactly that.We found that English was spoken more than adequately, and a few were fluent. The friendly staff couldnt do enough for you. We had such a lovely time that leaving was very hard. We WILL be back again. |
Very easy online booking. |
| Carina Tolstrup 2006-01-28 until 2006-02-08 |
Koh Samui Resort, Ban Tai Friendly, nice hotel. The beach is small, but nice. The restaurant has good food, with a good selection of dishes. But what they say about beachfront bungalows are a lie... They have NO beachfront bungalows at all! The bungalows are new and clean. Can recommend this place, but don t be disapointed, it is at least 50 meters (and the reception/restaurant) in between the bungalow and beach... |
Easy, simple and safe. Had no problems! |
| paul martland 2006-01-17 until 2006-01-23 |
Koh Samui Resort, Ban Tai Excellent boutique hotel right on the beautiful white sandy beach.Quiet, situated on the north coast of the island within 15 minutes of the airport. Comfortable rooms, first class service,a good breakfast buffet and the restaurant served fresh seafood as well as western dishes. Altogether a memorable experience. We will return. |
Couldn t be easier to use. Painless ! |
| Mr. And Mrs. Thimm 2006-01-15 until 2006-01-22 |
Koh Samui Resort, Ban Tai Really nice rooms and a good restaurent. Friendly service. A bit long from city. First we had the room nearest to the kitchen which was quit noicy also due to the road running through the resort, but then we moved to another room which was nice and quit. Really good pool area. |
Again, works to the best - easy to book and se the hotels. |
| Anne Nenonen 2006-01-03 until 2006-01-13 |
Koh Samui Resort, Ban Tai + Nice and secluded, right at the beach - good for total relaxing. Good food and friendly service. Beatifull beach. - no services close by (supermarket, restaurants, ATM etc.), you need a taxi to go anywhere. Staff not very good in speaking and understanding english. Car park very close to the villas and is bit noisy late at night and early morning. Recommendation: Would go back if want to rest but cannot recommend for an active holiday. |
Excellent service and website! Comprehensive, quick and reliable. |
| Cecilia Nasman Karlsson 2006-01-02 until 2006-01-13 |
Koh Samui Resort, Ban Tai The resort is fantastic and the staff very friendly and extremely service minded. It is quiet and very secluded. The restaurant offers excellent Thai food at reasonable prices. We stayed also at the Samui Palm Beach resort, but even though it has more stars the Koh samui Resort beats it by far! It s actually only the location that s a bit to the negative side (you need to take a taxi or rent a vehicle to go anywhere. However it s not needed that often, all services are offered at the resort. |
Very efficient! |
