Mr Vidar Os 2008-11-13	Muang Samui Spa Resort, Chaweng Beach Reception upon arrival and suite very good. Garden well kept but some of the furniture in public areas could be a little better kept. SPA superb and the food and service in restaurant also at top standard. Gym small but good. A little overpriced as I have stayed in similar or better SPA resorts at better rates before.	Worked as it should, gave good alternative for requested hotel.

Dennis Hudson 2008-05-14 until 2008-05-22	Muang Samui Spa Resort, Chaweng Beach Lovely hotel and facilities, but it was a pity about the actual location. Although it was nice and quiet (great) the sea was very shallow and at times dirty, so we had to walk down the beach to have a proper swim. The hotel room was excellent (deluxe pool view) and the Jacuzzi / shower area was fantastic. The service at times was a little slow, but the staff in general was very professional and courteous. The breakfast was bountiful and the pool set was great. Not sure if we would stay there again, but definitely worth a thought to anyone looking for a quiet and relaxing time.	Always good.

A beautiful hotel with lovely suites, you just feel that you are living in luxury and a godd restaurant with lovely food. Everything is good about the hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We would defently stay at Muang next time we are visiting Koh Samui. And yes,we are comming back!!!!

The pool area is very wonderful just as it looks on their web site. The location next to the beach is also great. The rooms where big and clean. The food at the beach restaurant is also very good the breakfast to. If we will go back to Koh Samui we will definitely stay at Muang Samui again.	Excellent

Again the service in the restaurant and the room (Royal Suite were excellent. Only the reception desk was not to helpfull. We asked for a 2 hour late checkout but had to pay TBH 500 extra. In view of the fact that we spent more than USD 3000 there I found that a bit stingy. We also booked the honeymoon package incl. of some goodies and discounts, but those were only given on request.	As usual very prompt and helpful. Ms Tim has done a great job and attended also quickly to requests and changes.

Daryl Nardick 2006-09-13 until 2006-09-18	Muang Samui Spa Resort, Chaweng Beach The Muang Samui Spa Resort staff could not have been more accommodating. I recently traveled to Koh Samui with my 79 year old mother. We initially booked a suite which I didnt know was on the top floor. Traveling three floors up was prohibitive for my mother so the staff kindly found a first floor room for us instead. The service was excellent -- even in so far as to transport my mother to wherever she wanted to go on the resort premises and in Chewang itself. The hotel is lovely with beautiful gardens and a sprawling pool overlooking the sea. The rooms of the highest quality with fine amenities. My only small complaint is when staying on the highest floor, one could hear the late night noise from the Chewang clubs since noise travels up. Other than that, I would strongly recommend the Muang Samui in large part because of its staff which is managed onsite by a wonderful manager, Yui.	Extremely accommodating. I had corresponded several times over issues related to traveling with an older person and always received a prompt and helpful response.
Omar Kassam 2006-05-19 until 2006-05-27	Muang Samui Spa Resort, Chaweng Beach My girlfriend and I spent some time researching resorts on Samui before booking. Muang Samui is right in the heart of Chaweng and a stones throw from the local bars, restaurants and clubs, which is exactly what we wanted. We were a bit concerned that the noise from the busy Samui nightlife would infiltrate the resort, however we found our rooms and the resort in general to be very quiet and peaceful. Muang Samui is definitely one of the better resorts on Chaweng, and although the entrance right off the main Chaweng beach road can be off-putting, the resort itself is very pretty and well decorated. The rooms (we were in a Junior Suite) are large and tastefully furnished in the traditional Thai style of dark woods and silk. The bathrooms are fabulous, and the jacuzzi in the bathroom is inspired. There is a rather unpleasant smell of old eggs when you initially turn it on, but this goes away relatively quickly. The staff were amazingly helpful and went out of their way to help out wherever they could with trips, booking confirmations, etc. The majority of staff spoke English so communication was never an issue. The beach was very pretty, but at the time of year that we went the water was very shallow and you could not swim at the resort. This is not a great problem as, if you do want to swim you can either use the pool or take a 15 minute walk along the beach to areas where the water is deeper and you can rent out sun-beds, etc. If you are looking to stay in Chaweng, Muang Samui is a resort that we both highly recommend.	Booking through sawadee.com was fast, smooth and flawless. We paid online before we left, and we encountered no difficulties on arrival. We would definitely use this service next time!

Our stay was very pleasant and the staff were so nice. Our only real complaint was the feeling that we were being rushed to our room (we arrived 30 min late into the airport) and then rushed to check out, even after we had arranged for one simple extra hour, days before our departure. (Additionally, the transfer service that the hotel set up for us insisted we leave for the airport far too early, making that experience unhappy, too). But, we d still suggest the property to other travelers.	Flawless. Made the experience very comfortable.

Staff very friendly and service great. Highly recommended!!! This was our honeymoon and we would definitely stay there again.	Excellent booking service. The facilities are great too. The pool, fitness room and day spa were all fantastic facilities. Rooms were always made up and were clean and tidy and looked amazing. The location was also very good (5min walk to all the nightlife) I can t give this hotel a bad review. Thanks to the staff for a fantastic 4 nights, and thankyou for the upgrade. I recommend this hotel to everyone.	Extremely efficient and reliable. Easy to use and i will use it again for all my future thailand trips.
Ilona Mulder 2006-01-29 until 2006-02-09	Muang Samui Spa Resort, Chaweng Beach We stayed in a Junior Garden view bungalow. The rooms are beautiful with a lot of details and a private jacuzzi. It s a beautiful Thai hotel, with nice swimmingpool and gordieus Spa at the side. And a hotel with the most friendly staff and people who help you with really everything. The were all really very nice. Also the people who work and help on the beach (Wong and Moo and friends) are the best.The work very hard. They all made are holiday special and whe look forword to visit the hotel and staff next year. This was my 8th trip to Thailand at the best and most beautiful hotel I ve ever stayed in.	sawadee.com is very good en I think the best site of Thailand there is. de booking went great, no problems at all and also the transfer from airport to hotel (400 baht one way) and back was perfectly arranged.

In general very efficient, prompt and straight forward. Only negative point: Airport transfer arranged by sawadee.com is double of the price than a hotel limo and you have to share the minibus even with with guest from other hotels and squeeze in all you luggage yourself. Double of the price and poor service.
Milly Wagstaff 2006-01-15 until 2006-01-20	Muang Samui Spa Resort, Chaweng Beach This hotel was absolutly beautiful. From the moment we arrived the staff were so friendly and professional. Our room was a junior suite with pool view -it was perfect - a huge room - big spa bath and open shower - plenty of room for a couple. The room and hotel in general was so clean. The bar & restaurant staff were a highlight - they were so friendly and helpful & and made our stay. The restuarants had supurb food - we found it difficult to leave and try other places! The position is perfect - far enough away from all the action that it is quiet however only a really short stroll to the bars and clubs etc. When I come back to Ko Samui this would be the only place I would stay and I would definatly recommend it to anyone -it was fantastic!	Sawadee was a great booking service - we had no problems at all.
Alex hill 2005-12-29 until 2006-01-12	Muang Samui Spa Resort, Chaweng Beach Muang Samui is one of the higher class resorts on chaweng beach. It is at the end of the busy stretch of the main chaweng beach road. We did experience some noise from some local bars but not too much. At the time we stayed both sides of the resort had building works - which did cause some noise. However Muang Samui was a high quality resort the staff, rooms and particularly the pool were excellent. I would recommend for the younger couple but not those seeking to get away from it all. You should consider the Amari or regent - which are of equal quality but maybe without the building noise.

I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation. The room was beautiful, the design of the resort is amazing. From the moment we arrived to the moment we checked out, the staff was attentive and helpful, we didn t want to leave!	Excellent, easy to use. No issues whatsoever.

Lucy Knight 2005-06-24 until 2005-06-27	Muang Samui Spa Resort, Chaweng Beach Fantastic hotel, we stayed twice - first 4 nights in the junior suite - really lovely, robes, spa bath big enough for 2 great pool a real treat. Then we went to Koh Tao and came back for 3 final nights so treated ourselves to a Sea view royal suite - what can I say!! indoor and outdoor jacuzzi bath (great if like us you have a toddler who you want to put to bed at 8.00 but dont want to then just sit there like lemons) we had room service and sat in our own private garden looking out to sea. This is the best hotel I have ever stayed in anywhere!! I will recommend to all my friends and family	great service well done

Ms. Di Keser 2005-01-04 until 2005-01-09	Muang Samui Spa Resort, Chaweng Beach The Muang Samui is a beautifully maintained property, which is run poorly, infact terribly. With breakfast supplied, it was never ready as stated, and when you start tours early in the morning, this leaves you very hungry. The quality of food was exceptional and competitive with other local restaurants. The hotel however, is far too expensive for what you get, and with fireworks being let off on the grounds to all hours of the morning, every night, it was impossible to have a decent nights sleep. And staff applying makeup at the reception desk, in full view of customers is not on! I hope for them, that they iron out these problems, because they have clearly spent alot of time and money on this resort.	Sawadee where very helpful, given we had been caught in the Tsuanmi and needed to find alternative accommodation, as we were unable to stay in Phuket and Krabi.
