About the hotel:
The hotel was great just far enough from the hustle and bustle of Chaweng but with a motor bike no problem. Staff were helpful with limited english. The hotel was nearly empty and we had the pool to our selves for the whole ten days which was very relaxing. Steve and Linda Perth

About the hotel:
The Hotel: the people who worked there made our stay so grand, the Thai people we met were very respectful, friendly and hospitable. We had our then 5month old son, and nothing was too much trouble, it was a joy to stay at the hotel because of the people who worked there. The hotel is a few minutes walk away from the township, when it got too hot in town we could just go back to the hotel and layabout by the pool (which is on the 6th floor), you got spectular views, very nice at night time, we also liked it by the pool because of the heavenly breeze when everyone was melting in their hotels by the beachside we were 6 storeys up and the breeze was heaven sent. No one else we met could say that. During our stay the temperature was usually 32-34C, except when there was a storm and it was a low 28. Ha! low indeed. Friends who stayed the following week said it was 35-40C! We found the rooms delightful, spacious and airy, the air conditioning was a dream. We went to the sister hotel (which is right down the other end of the beach, up our end the beach is protected by a sandbar and the water is quite calm, at the other end no sandbar and there was a strong undercurrent and the waves were quite choppy, it was too much for our little boy. So we walked along the beach and then went back to the sister hotel and stayed by its pool which was lovely. The food at the hotel was devine, always fresh and tasty. But if you had problems with the meal then they would do their best to rectify it immediately. I loved the friendliness of all the Thai people we met. If we ever get the chance to go again we would stay at the same hotel. If you didn t want to have dinner at the hotel you could get a taxi and go down to the numerous bars, restaurants, cafes, or local supermarket (which is close to the sister hotel) to grab items. There are also 2 tescos on the island (if you feel the need). There were all sorts of restaurants, you could choose from traditional Thai to Japanese to british to burger king, and yummy ice cream parlours. Heaps of shopping to be had, and heaps of chemists, it seemed more then dairies (24/7s). For an island there was a lot of tourism growth happening, lots of hotels being built. There were lots of ways to spend money, from shopping, to the national park being so close, water sports/activities for hire, you name it it was there. There was so much to see and do, you could chill and laze around or go sight seeing at the many temples, or party the night away or shop til you drop (get your bargaining hat on and be prepared to haggle). It was a world away from our normal routine. It was great!

About the hotel:
We booked the honeymoon suite for 7 nights. It rained and we had a slight leak through the roof. The staff were very good and upgraded us to a villa with its own pool, which was of high quality and the overall sevice was excellent. The only negative is the construction around the hotel which was noisy and that a taxi was needed to town, but the hotel did have a shuttle service during the day free of charge and would take us in the evening for a nominal charge. The spa was fabulous and would recommend to anyone. Overall a good hotel, friendly accomodating staff and would recommend.
About the reservation service:
Excellent, no problems and straight forward

About the hotel:
The Hotel was fantastic, we where welcomed by a fruit basket and a clean room with the most stunning view of the whole of koh Samui from our Balcony. The pool on the 6th Floor is amazing and receives full sun the entire day, so it is great for tanning. The staff are unbelievably friendly and helpful, which made our stay even more memorable. The hotel is situated at the top of the road and it is a 5min walk to the the beach and centre of town, but the hourly shuttle service takes you down anyway so its not too much trouble. There sister hotel, which is on the beach provides you with deck chairs and full service. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone, and on our return to Koh Samui we will definitely be staying at Cabana Grand View.
