grassagliata 2008-08-05 until 2008-08-12	Sala Samui Resort & Spa, Choeng Mon Beach L hotel d un style design zen magnifique. Les bungalows avec piscine privée sont superbe. Le personnel parfait pour ce type d établissement. Un seul inconvénient ( mais de taille ) les moustiques. La direction de l hotel devrait engager un programme de traitement comme font d autres établissement de l ile.	Parfait et professionnel

Kase 2006-04-27 until 2006-05-02	Sala Samui Resort & Spa, Choeng Mon Beach Pool Villa Suite is lovely but having the toilet outside in 90 degree temperature with 70%-75% humidity at 8AM is not a pleasant experience. In a high rise hotel you loose the ambience of the Sala Samui but you can go to the bathroom in comfort. The breakfast buffet was adequate at an additional charge to the $350/night rate this past April. Also, they were not as helpful a staff as we experienced in Bangkok at at the Peninsula hotel that was 2/3rds the price. We would not return to the facility though it looked most impressive with the added benefit of being away from the crowded main street of the beach town only 3 miles away. Also, based on 2 visiys I suggest you take a pass on the spa. But go to Koh Tao via speed boat not the big boat for wonerful snorkeling.	See my comments under Peninsula-Bangkok.
Hayley Griffiths 2006-03-06 until 2006-03-10	Sala Samui Resort & Spa, Choeng Mon Beach All the staff are so professional, friendly and polite. Both pools are great. We stayed in a one bedroom villa suite which was brilliant - you can t beat having your own pool (you re not overlooked so you can go naked if you like!). In hindsight we would have got a sala pool villa instead as we don t think it s worth the extra money for a one bedroom villa suite (the only extra thing you get is a tiny extra room which has an extra television in it). The bed is comfortable and a good size. The bathroom is good as it has a roof but no walls so you feel like you re out in the open. It s right on the beach which is nice soft sand and clean water. I liked the location of the Sala Samui as it s away from the noise of Chaweng but close enough to get a taxi there in the evening. Internet is free there too which is handy.	Very good indeed.

La 2 bedroom villa suite avec piscine était superbe, idéale pour une famille.La cuisine y est remarquable et recherchée. Le seul bémol : la plage.	parfait. comme d habitude ! Merci Sawadee.com
Wai Chan 2006-01-07 until 2006-01-09	Sala Samui Resort & Spa, Choeng Mon Beach Nice, comfortable yet stylish room and hotel setting. We stayed at the garden pool villa and it was so private and romantic. Definitely a place to go if you want private and relax getaway. Right next to the beach. Welcome greeting was not as warm as we got from the other resorts though. Be careful in paying cash for service there. We paid cash for shuttle services and they didn t give us any receipt for that. Then we got billed again when we check out. We ended up had to pay twice for the service as they did not have any record on the cash we paid them just the night before. So remember to get cash receipt on any cash payments.	Good experience with booking on Sawadee.

Omar satti 2005-11-04 until 2005-11-08	Sala Samui Resort & Spa, Choeng Mon Beach As frequent traveller to samui this is the best hotel i have stayed in. the staff was extra helpful and went out of there to make our stay comfortable. the service and food was excellent. we stayed in the deluxe balcony room which was amazing but the pool villas are even better.location of the hotel is perfect as its not on chawend the 2 pools are excellent also.	very prompt and effecient service althoughj the rates are slightly higher then the other companies. but the service was unbeatable.

Susan Baskett 2005-06-25 until 2005-07-01	Sala Samui Resort & Spa, Choeng Mon Beach the sala samui resort was incredible! the best place we ever stayed and i was upset to leave. i told them it was our anniversary when i booked the room so when we arrived they presented me with a dozen red roses! our lovely bed also had rose petals on it in the shape of two hearts and the HUGE (biggest ever!) bathtub also had water in it with floating rose petals. also they gave us a bottle of sparkling wine - what a lovely welcome! we stayed in a 1 bedroom pool villa and it was incredible. you have your own nice sized villa and a private pool with an outdoor patio, 2 sun loungers, a dining table and a big day bed for lounging in the shade. the whole villa/pool is all enclosed and private so it is a romantic paradise! the bathroom is great too - a lovely rain shower and HUGE bathtub, toilet and 2 sinks and it is technically outside surrouned by gardens although it is covered with a roof and has drop down clear side panels to keep bugs out. it was a cool experience to feel you were showering outside. the resort also has two really nice pools and is right on a great beach - clean, calm water to swim in, jet skis & boats for rent and a nice scattering of restaurants and bars that are all lit up at night with fairy lights and tables on the beach! the staff at the sala samui were so friendly and helpful and we took a day long tour for a great price all around the island with one of the sala drivers. the food was just delicious in the restaurant and the atmosphere was so romantic with candles and even one table that was in the pool at nighttime. it sits in a raised area with a few inches of water so you eat dinner with your feet pleasantly paddling in the water! the breakfast was superb and room service was 24 hours which is great. the only negative is that the spa and massages are very pricey but they are amazing. it is way cheaper to go out on the beach to get an hour long massage for only 6 euro! oh, they also have free internet access for guests which is great! overall, we loved this place and will be going back next year! you feel so looked after here and you won t want to leave!!!!!!	very safe, quick and efficient with personal email feedback when i wrote with a query. one thing - if you see a special deal for your hotel on the sawadee website (i.e. if you book you get a free meal plus wine) make sure you print that page out and take it with you when you go because our hotel was not immediately aware of the deal we were offered although they did make a call and then they honored it.
K JACKSON 2005-06-12 until 2005-06-18	Sala Samui Resort & Spa, Choeng Mon Beach This is a new hotel and the staff are also new. They try really hard to please. The Pool Villas are superb, well equipt and spacious. Beach is rocky outside hotel but is a lot better two minutes walk away. Taxis available at modest cost to go to Fishermans Village or Chaweng. The hotel bar lets it down a bit as there is no comfortable seating or proper bar to sit at. It also closes early. The only real problem we encountered were the flies that hovered about at breakfast & lunch. The hotel needs to look into this. Would stay there again & would recommend

Staff were very helpful and anything that you could have wanted was available. Highly recommend.	After the Tsumani Sawadee very helpful with changing booking details. Very professional and would recommend.
Caitlin Davies 2005-02-11 until 2005-02-13	Sala Samui Resort & Spa, Choeng Mon Beach Stayed here for last two nights of our holiday to properly relax before going back to work. Absolutely gorgeous place. Stayed in Garden Villa Suite which was exactly like the pictures on the website... personal pool, open air shower and bath, luscious bed etc etc. Service was fantastic, from chauffeur (Pwe-Nai was so nice and so helpful) to room service (fast, efficient and helpful). The facilities were picturesque, two stunning pools (like swimming in a Conde Nast Traveller picture), with thai massage beds nearby and centimetres from the beach. The food was the best of the holiday (and that was just the starters!). Unfortunately I have nothing to compare Sala to. I have never stayed somewhere this expensive, so my expectations were a lot higher, but then I wasn’t disappointed. The only negative points were easily turned to positive... Beach was busier than north Chaweng.. but then you do have your own private pool. Massage was expensive.. but then it was fantastic, and the cheap places are only 2mins down the beach. Mosquitoes were/are evil.. but Sala fogs every day and provides coils to burn. It was just great.	Smooth
Per Widelöv 2005-01-30 until 2005-02-09	Sala Samui Resort & Spa, Choeng Mon Beach Very nice Design Hotel with nice rooms but unorganized. The booking thugh Sawadee does not click perfectly, we had to change room 1 nigh due to overbooking. The poolservice guys does not check if people taking sunbeds are living at the hotel, so some people at the hotel does not get one. Service buy the pool is not good. Food however is EXCELLENT!! SPA is OK but expensive compared to sixsenses at Evason were we stayed first week. Best value for money is Sala Villa, or Garden Villa the Villa suite we stayed in was not Worth the extra money even if it was not much more.	Do not know yet if I have got my refund for the day we had to downgrade our room. Have not recieved any info by mail from them about it either. they also seem a bit unorganized! But OK I guess.
Helène 2004-12-14 until 2004-12-17	Sala Samui Resort & Spa, Choeng Mon Beach Superbe et magnifique hotel!!!!!Le luxe comme on en rêve!!!! Seule déception:pas vraiment de bar ouvert le soir,ni d ambiance,et j ai senti que l hotel venait d ouvrir car les serveurs voulaient trop bien faire et on n a pas vraiment eu de contact avec eux. Mais,je le redis,si vous voulez du luxe dans un vrai design de gout:foncez!!Piscine dans la chambre,salle de bain en plein air,le tout fini dans les moindres détails!J ai hate d y retourner quand l hotel sera un peu plus rodé.	No problème,sauf qu on croyait qu on avait un diner gratuit....l expliquation de leur site web n était pas très explicite....le spa n était pas encore ouvert,contrairement à ce qu on attendait.sinon,parfait!!!!!

We can recommand it very much.	The service is very effectiv.Works great.Only disadvantage, no direct communication with a specific hotel is possible.
