Karsten Wikke Jensen 2008-11-20	Tango Beach Resort, Chaweng Beach Beautiful hotel. Outside. Standard room was really damp and dark, except the glass door which provides you with light that will prohibit you from sleeping. Joy and Aon in reception are darlings and were really helpful with arranging snorkling trips and golf for my boyfriend. Breakfast is probably the best we ve ever experienced in Thailand, and we ve been here quite a few times. Locationwise it s just on the beach, but in the north end. Would take you about 15-20min to go to the centre of Chaweng, which was a bit annoying. Took the Songtaw (small red busses) for anything from 30-60baht per person. Taxi charges 200bath even though you re only going 500 metres. To sum it up, we would probably stay there again, but in a better room.	Always easy to use.

MS Lindsay 2008-09-14	Tango Beach Resort, Chaweng Beach Perfect location, directly on the beach. Friendly staff, good food, great cocktails. The door to the room is frosted glass with no curtain so be prepared to be woken up at 6am by the sun. The hot water only worked in the mornings. Over all a very nice stay.
Patrick Chia 2008-09-08	Tango Beach Resort, Chaweng Beach The overall environment is very cosy. We booked 2 rooms and my room (C6) was good and well kept. My friend s room (C14) had a few problems - Aircon wasn t cold enough and the toilet couldn t flush properly. The rooms have a safe which comes in handy. The staff are friendly and personal. The breakfast is ok, though the menu is the same everyday (would be good to have a bit of variety). The location is on the quieter part of Chaweng. (good - is quiet, bad - about 15 minutes walk to the shops further down which can be quite tiring). Overall I d rate it as a must stay hotel. I am back home now qand I already miss the place : )	Though I had some initial doubts, but it turned out to be very good and efficient. The airport transfer was there, the hotel check in & out had no problems at all. Highly recommended to book through here!
Paul Fox Rogers 2008-08-28	Tango Beach Resort, Chaweng Beach The staff were all very friendly and our room was generally clean and tidy. We had a couple of problems with the toilet blocking and the air-con seemed stuck on one setting but nothing too serious. The pool was nice and was cleaned and cleared of leaves on a regular basis. The breakfasts were very average. Location wise, it s a 15 - 20 minute walk to the shops and bars.	No problems at all with the booking service.

Situated just a little walk from the shops and bars so good location. Staff really friendly, however if you want a boiled egg for breakfast you will have to explain the difference between boiled and poached!! Would defiantly re-visit.	First time using Sawadee, 100% recommended!

Nicola Whiteley 2008-05-24 until 2008-05-31	Tango Beach Resort, Chaweng Beach I booked myself and all my family here, it was just as I expected, really friendly staff and great value rooms. We booked a junior suite but it was unsuitable as we have a 1 year old, and the suite has quite a few awkward stairs. After a little persuasion they upgraded us to a honeymoon suite for no extra cost and gave us a very late checkout for a minimal fee. I would recommend this resort to anyone looking for a small friendly resort with a laid-back feel.	Brilliant. Even though I changed dates and other details numerous times, the bookings were all in order, as were the airport transfers.

I would stay there again.	i arived one day before our booking. They changed our days and upgraded our room free of charge. Not bad at all :)

Rooms very clean and good size, plumbing problem with shower but that was no biggy. Restaurant was the best value on Chaweng beach, with very friendly staff, food was top quality, good tunes...and a massage salon next door (too easy). We have already done so, and will continue to recommend to friends. Sam & Phil, Western Australia.	Easy steps to follow, no issues with booking service.

Staff friendly and breakfast ok.	Very good!

Staff were great and the place was pretty clean - i guess, i only used the place to sleep in coz i was doing a lot of sightseeing through out the day. after seeing the central of Chaweng - i definately made a good choice in terms of the location. It is about a 15 or so minute to the centre of the party life but at least at my end, it didn t smell so bad ;-) also, everything i want or need is within a stones throw away.	thanks!!

The standards have dropped from when it used to be Family Bungalows; horrible buffet breakfast, bad smell of fetid water or sewage.	Booking very easy and quick.

Andy Geering 2008-02-03 until 2008-02-08	Tango Beach Resort, Chaweng Beach This is a really good value hotel in Chaweng, situated about 10 mins north of main action in Chaweng, 15 mins from the airport. Our room was right next to the pool, which is a 30 seconds from the beach. They have a good restaurant right on the beach. The front desk staff are very helpful. It s worth booking your trips and mopeds etc there. The rooms are pretty basic but fine. They are gaps around the windows/ doors, so mozzies can get in - shut your curtains if possible. Would recommend highly.	Alongwith Tripadvisor, a really good source of information for any region in Thailand.
Lynn 2008-02-02 until 2008-02-12	Tango Beach Resort, Chaweng Beach Tango Beach Resort is much more attractive than it looks from outside ,the staff are welcoming and the service is good.The pool is lovely and every thing is very clean. We didn t eat there in the evenings preferring to head into Chaweng,which has loads of great eateries and bars to suit everyone . I wasn t particularly impressed by either the snacks or breakfast at Tango Beach We stayed in a junior suite which was very attractive with a massive shower,dressing area, a lovely comfy bed and the complimentary coffee was filter although the tea was the usual lipton rubbish,on the down side there was some sort of service alley at the back of our suite which the staff used and we were woken several times around 8 in the morning by them going backwards and forwards it sounded as if they were in the room with us, there was also a full length window at the side of the loo on to the alley which was a little unnerving . The beach is lovely much quieter than further into Chaweng although a little shady immediately in front of the resort but there is plenty of room nearby. We stayed for 10 days before heading off to Bangkok,I would certainly recommend it although perhaps a different suite	excellent
Peter Thompson 2008-01-19 until 2008-01-26	Tango Beach Resort, Chaweng Beach The Tango Hotel was just a little too far away from the centre of Chaweng but not too much of a problem for us. It was almost impossible to get a sunbed on the beach in front of the hotel in the morning owing to the high tides. It was also very shady due to the trees. Two main negative comments about the rooms were the fact that the light used to come in very early in the morning as the door is frosted glass with no curtain and the other point is that there was hardly any draw space to put clothes etc. One night we were disturbed by a group of noisy teenage Koreans banging on each others doors and shouting all night. The breakfast was nice but could have been warmer at times. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful and all in all we enjoyed our stay at the Tango.	Very efficient as always!

The rooms are nice and were cleaned every day. If you are looking for somewhere to stay which is away from the hustle and bustle of the busy part of town this is the perfect place. You can walk 20 min down the road and do all your shopping and partying. Only thing I must say is the beach was a little narrow so you could not always get a seat on the beach unless you get there early. Otherwise Tango Beach Resort was wonderful! I would definately stay there again and recommend it to anyone.	Booking was really easy and a pleasurable experience.

Stayed in a Junior Suite which was very nice too, clean, big shower, although a little dark and not enough possibilities to put your clothes. Value for the money is ok. Tango Beach is located at the northern part of Chaweng Beach. Perfect for quiet and relaxing beach days. In my opinion the water is too shallow and right in front of the hotel you had to overcome first a seaweed field to reach deeper waters. No problem as we found out 50m up there is no seaweed though. The hotels beach restaurant lazy wave served very good food too at a reasonable price.	Very satisfied

My deluxe room was very pleasant with a good sized bathroom.No bath but a large walk in shower/wet room. No problems with mosquitos as some earlier reviews had reported. Very friendly staff. Nice restaurant overlooking the beach which served great quality Thai and western food. Swimming pool very nice with jacuzzi- The pool area also got plenty of sun all day. Not much room for sunbeds as some of the rooms surround the pool, but this was never a problem as it was never crowded. I have stayed in many hotels in Samui during the past five years and this rates as one of the best.	Good service

Taxi service provided from/to airport or to anywhere required. Would recommend staying here, although the walk into Chaweng centre is about 15 mins. However the walk along the beach to Chaweng is well worth it.	No problems here.

The resort is such good value, only 1200 Thai Baht for a double room including a cooked brekfast. The satff are super friendly and all remebered my name. They will do anything to help you. I would definately recommend this hotel, especially if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle of central Chaweng, but still be able to walk into town if you need to. I am a single female traveller and I felt very safe here.	Very easy and efficient.
Mr. LIN WEN YOUNG 2007-11-13 until 2007-11-16	Tango Beach Resort, Chaweng Beach there was a noising sound in our first room which we can t stand of it while sleeping, just right after check in and refresh ourselves for dine out, requested the front desk if possible to change the room, when back, yes, we got a better condition than original one.it was a great stay at Tango even it rained for 2 days, close to the beach, and 5 minutes walk to Amari hotel to have a fine dine there. two things for the comments, the staffs are please to serve, but need more smile to the guests, second is their presure and temperature of water is unstable, rest of all are good.	excellent as always

When I booked, they are having a promotion rate of 1200batt per night. It worth every penny! I ll definitely stay there again during my next trip. The only downside was, there was quite a lot of mosquitoes in the room at night. So it ll be good to bring some insect repellant with you.	I m very happy with sawadee.com s services. Their responses are fast. Due to some unforseen flight re-schedule, my arrival/departure date had to be posponed by one day. I m really glad that sawadee.com was able to accomadate the change in my date of stay even I contacted them one day before my initial date of arrival.

Good restaurant with nice ambience (Noir Restaurant). Staff are very friendly and helpful. The beach in front of the resort is not the best in chaweng, but it is very near to a sandbar to the left during low tide and the water there is pristine! Definitely a good location. Cons:- cleanliness of the room could be better. If possible get a room a bit further from the kitchen as the aroma does enter the bathroom on occasions.	No problems on bookings at all. However the reply to my email in changing the room from a double room to a twin room was slow.

Location is good, 10 min walk to main chaweng with bars, shops and restaurants. Hotel pool nice and everytime very clean. Only bad thing is, that there was no water in the sea. Its not possible to take a bath there in july. Took 15 min walk along the beach to find a place to go swimming in the sea.	Without any problems! Will book again there.

Location is ideal, not far and not near the nosy heart of Chaweng beach. Breakfast is good. Pool does not closed at 6 p.m. as at many hotels so you can enjoy swimming under stars. Interior of the room (deluxe on the second floor)is very nice, wooden floor makes it very cosy. Thanks for the staff for making the home atmosphere.	Perfect, prompt.
