Nicole & Julie - Australia 2009-06-23	Dara Samui Beach Resort & Spa Villa, Chaweng Beach We stayed in a deluxe suite here, initially the room we were in the internet wouldnt work, air con in the lounge room wouldnt kick in, and the toilet didnt flush, but that aside the next day when we let them know they moved us up a floor to a new room where everything was excellent, even had a see view. beds are pretty hard [so get lots of massages!], service and friendliness of the staff is amazing. breakfast was great as well. its a beautiful small hotel and will be coming back. special mention to the girls at the spa [i need another massage now after returning home] and to Vorn who works in the restaurant [he is so nice]. all of the staff that work there [including the maintenance and gardening guys] are just so friendly and nice. good work.	for first time user it was easy as, not a problem once we arrived at the hotel.
Susan Edge and David McKinlay 2009-04-10	Dara Samui Beach Resort & Spa Villa, Chaweng Beach The Hotel and rooms are clean and presentable, and staff are pleasant but the beds are terrible, Initially given a first floor room, and was bitten by bedbugs and mosquitoes-asked to change room to the top floor away from the greenery and mosquitoes, which was accommodated by helpful staff who were very apologetic and even left a mosquito coil burning in the room when we returned later in the day. Whilst we were no longer bitten, the mattress was quite bad if you need support for a bad back. Otherwise the hotel is very pleasant and food in the restaurant is acceptable with no complaints the breakfast goes onto 2pm which is great if you have had a late night, a nice touch!

Rachael Vince 2009-01-03	Dara Samui Beach Resort & Spa Villa, Chaweng Beach My boyfriend and I had a fantastic 5 nights at the Dara Samui Beach Resort & Spa. We stayed in the Deluxe Suite and were treated like royalty. Breakfast was also fantastic! Pool is beautiful and it is right on the beach in a perfect location for shopping and restaurants. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel.	Fantastic sawadee.com service!

Right in the middle of the restaurants shops and bars on the main Cheweng beach road, and still quiet enough for a relax on the best beach on Koh Samui.	Excellent booking and payment service. Efficient and easy to use.

Ernst Peter Hahn 2008-07-29 until 2008-08-01	Dara Samui Beach Resort & Spa Villa, Chaweng Beach Marvelous hotel with very friendly service. Breakfast was on an la cart basis which we found to be terrific compared to the normal buffet style in other hotels. The hotel is built on a very narrow property but has made the best out of it. We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed it. Hotel was not booked out. Enough long chairs at the beach. Could get tight when fully booked. Very narrow beach. The entire view and apperance from the beach side is one of the best on Chaweng Beach. Only little issue was a bad odor in the bathroom on the 2nd and 3rd day. Staff could not fix the issue but had offered a different room. Manager took time to explain reason and what could be done. We had two rooms and it only showed in one room so do not worry. We had dinner one night in the hotel and were very satisfied. All in all I can recommend the hotel for a few nights if you do not want very spacious grounds. No swimming possible during low tide as there is a stony reef 100 m out in the ocean. 5 minutes further south swimming is possible and good however very busy with boats and jet skis etc.	All worked well. Communication excellent and efficient. Would book again.

Location is ideal for shopping. The water is wery low in front of the hotel. If You would go for a swim in the sea, then you should walk about 10 min. to each side. Pool is ok The staff is very friendly and helpful, but could improve their english to avoid misunderstandings. Breakfast is overall, but we prefer breakfast buffet. The room was spacious and every thing was in order. There was some noise from a nearby hotel. Overall good value for money.	exxcellant, I am impressed

Stairs would be an issue for the frail or elderly (we were on the third floor and there are no lifts) but overall a great 10 days in a very clean and comfortable resort	very efficient and helpful

Even people walking by the beach would stop and take pictures of the hotel as the place looked that good. Everyone at the hotel went out their way to make our honeymoon one to remember. I really cant fault this hotel one bit, and will definitly be going back.	All queries answered and not complaints with the service we received.

We stayed at a deluxe suite which was dark without any views and badly maintained. Also the pool was more like a children pool.	The booking service was excellent

Location is amazing, 10 minute from airport and in Chaweng centre close to all stores and restaurant. Gorgeous room, modern and well decorated. The service was incredible with little extra attentions. The seafood restaurant was delicious. Great breakfast at poolside with again excellent service. Perfect size pool with view of beach. Great for honeymooners and families. Would stay there again, this hotel made our short stay in Samui memorable.	Excellent and convenient.
JS 2008-03-19 until 2008-03-21	Dara Samui Beach Resort & Spa Villa, Chaweng Beach Stayed at the Deluxe suite between 3 of us for 2 nights, then superior room on 3rd night and had a great stay. Positives: +hotel is new with all amenities we could need +room is very spacious +staff is helpful +beach area in front of hotel is clean (vs some others along the beach) +breakfast included is available until 2pm, served a la carte +Great location, 5 min walk from main bars on chewang road Negatives: -Shower (throughout the hotel) is not consistant in terms of pressure, hot and cold water -on one of the breakfast sets (dara samui) there were several dead ants on the lobster which was served which was worrying. They replaced it, but I would have expected more. All in all a great stay, though may look at alternatives next time round as may be worn down by then	Great - no problems. Instant response even at 9pm (HK time)

The bedrooms are very good, the shower struggled to drain the water away. Service excellant. I would definately stay here again. Watch Out for the beach sellers. They will try to con you!!	Excellant
TravelCat 2008-02-20 until 2008-02-24	Dara Samui Beach Resort & Spa Villa, Chaweng Beach I stayed at the hotel for 5D/4N at the superior room. The hotel and spa service was excellent. The room is clean and tidy. However, as it located at central Chaweng, the beach corresponding to the hotel is relatively small when compared with the Library or other hotels at the northern Chaweng. Its kind of crowded when one relaxing at the beach front. Breakfast is not buffet style, and the food is just average. Overall, the stay was a nice and pleasant one.

El desayuno es servido segun la eleccion que uno hace entre varias opciones muy abundantes, en el caso de nuestra familia, hubieramos preferido un desayuno buffet ya servido y elegir lo que quisieramos de la comida ya preparada. Si volviera a Ko Samui, volveria a ir al Dara Samui.	Sawadee ha cumplido con todo lo que pedi a traves de ella, booking de hotel y transfer desde el aeropuerto. No dudare en utilizar esta pagina para mi proximo viaje a Asia/
Pamela Lynn Bash 2007-12-27 until 2008-01-05	Dara Samui Beach Resort & Spa Villa, Chaweng Beach We stayed there for 9 nighjts and found the place very nice. The food was delicious and the staff were extremely friendly and accomodating. The rooms are nicely designed, however, the bathrooms are very open and one of our party was staying with his mom so this may not have been comfortable for him. The one negative was the morning competition to claim beach chairs before spots ran out.	We had no problem with the reservations. I would use this website again.
Ann and Wayne Aston 2007-11-29 until 2007-12-02	Dara Samui Beach Resort & Spa Villa, Chaweng Beach Enjoyed excellent stay at Dara Samui, stayed in a superior room no real view from the deck but the room was lovely. Extra large bathroom, nicely furnished bedroom. Staff were very friendly and obliging. The breakfast was amazing many choices with very attentive wait staff Central Location close to everything Chaweng has to offer in shopping and restaurants. Beach was very clean and excellent for swimming. Couple of suggestions though, compendiums in the room and long mirror for dressing.	Sawadee booking service was impeccable, changes made were acknowledged very quickly and the payment and voucher system was fast and safe. Transfer Operator arranged by Sawadee also excellent, i will not hesitate to use Sawadee again.
Jackie Stoves 2007-11-25 until 2007-11-27	Dara Samui Beach Resort & Spa Villa, Chaweng Beach I had the pleasure of staying at the Dara Samaui on two occassions the first 5 days I stayed in a delux room this was an excellent standard and you could not fault the room however I also returned to the Dara Samaui after the full moon party and stayed in a delux suite , now this was excellent the room overlooked the sea and the facilities in the room were brilliant especially the bathroom! I would fully reccomend staying at the Dara Samaui and if possible go for the delux suite. The pool area is lovely overlooking the sea and the pool bar area is great where you have breakfast which is really good the staff there are great very good service, you can also get breakfast served up until 14.00 hrs which is just the kind of thing you need after a night out in chaweng. Overall I would definatley reccomend staying at the Dara samaui and hope to go back one day.	Very easy no problems at all

Food, Party, Beach, Shops. Great team of staff. Service was brilliant n friendly, made my friend n I feel like a princesses during our stay. Pool and beach were well kept. Just 1small problem the mozzies just get ur insect reppelent ready.	Brilliant. No hassle No problem.

We were staying in a superior room and the price was very cheap because the resort had just opened. The rooms are large and very nicely decorated - very luxurious bathroom. Lovely pool but small beach frontage so when full there may not be a lot of space for sunlovers.	Very fast and efficient.
