Unfortunately I would not recommend staying here. The pictures may look good but the premises are run down, and the staff unhelpful. During our stay we encountered the following. Initially offered a bungalow that smelt like a public toilet, no hot water, the TV broke down, had to continually request that we be provided the 2 daily bottles of water, beds re-made with previous days linen and when checking out they tried to bill us for items including dinners at the restaurant that we did not eat. Add to this a beach littered with plastic bags and other rubbish and you can see why this hotel should be avoided.

Booking service works well.

The location is very nice, right on a small beach and in a quiet location on the island. It does get a bit rocky in the water soon after you get in. The bungalows are set in a nice shady garden and are a good size and perfectly adequate. The reception area and restaurant are getting a bit worn and could do with a revamp. Over all however, I would give it 7/10 and it is good value for money.

Excellent.

The hotel was great value for money, a little rough around the edges but by far the best place we stayed at on Samui. The beach is fabulous and the wildlife and rocks make it seem like a lost paradise! The four poster bed, yes four poster bed was really luxurious and the room was huge! All in all a nice hotel where you are given privacy and although the staff can come accross a little surly at times the room and beach more than make up for it! Oh and the fireflies and crabs were really nice!

It was very good the only problem was when booking last minute cos sawadee s price is cheaper than the hotel so that was a bit of hassle but the office is just around the corner so no problems. Very efficient and fridnly staff at sawadee. Thanks

photos on the internet made this place look fantastic, however upon arrival it was obvious that this place was quite run down. staff weren t too friendly and english was limited, uniforms faded. rooms weren t too bad however mini bar was not refilled during our 5 day stay. the restaraunt was very quiet, we being the only ones in there eating twice..made me wander why? all up, we were looking for somewhere special to stay, looked great on the internet but would not reccomend this place to anyone.

The beach was great that was about it with this resort. Trying to get a drink at the beach bar, forget it. We tried to get dinner, but gave up the service was so bad. Had lunch there and as expected a bad meal, but who wants to leave the beach and go to another hotel for lunch... The bathroom was horrible, stayed in the beach front bunglow and mold all over bathroom. The beach had very few chairs, and the one I got early was broken. 16 beach chairs for a big resort... unreal. The front desk staff and wait staff acted liked they didn t even care they were running a hotel. The breakfast in the morning was gone by the time 9am rolled around. The thing that really got me was, I had to reconfirm our trip to Koh tao for the next morning and they happily called for me, but then then next day at checkout they charged me 40B to make the phone call for me. I will never stay here again, try and find another hotel on this beach, since it is very quiet for samui.

great

The bungalows were very near to a wonderful small, secluded beach. They very spacious and well furbished but in need of maintenance (broken steps on the veranda, rust in the bath, cracks in the walls and ceiling). Most of the staff were quite nonchalant and uninterested in their guests.

Good place with all the basic facility available. if you look for a nice getaway from it all, i recommend it. The Staff it is friendly and helpful, food service is a bit slow..but considering that it is a holiday...The bungalows are nice and spacious, and all in good location. I liked the private space on the beach and the pool bar, wich unfortunately closed at 22:00, maybe a bit too early??!! and yes, i would recommend The Yacht Club to my friends, singles and family. I will certainly go back for my next holiday to Ko-Samui. Thanks to you all at the Yach Club !! Keep up the good job!!

Very pleasant hotel. The rooms are large and spacious with plenty of storage space to put your bags and things. It was one of the most comfortable places we stayed in Thailand.

Difficulty with check-in. Room was not available right away. Rooms look much nicer on picture than reality (we were to stay in deluxe beachfront, but ended up not liking the location or look of our bungalow and thus stayed in seaview/hill room. Thai food in restaurant was great! Beach is very shallow and there are many rocks in the water. Grounds are somewhat old. Service such as check-out, wake-up call was prompt.

Very easy and efficient.

Quality gaff. My beachfront bungalow was about 5m from the sea on a private beach. Nice and clean, no sign of creepy crawlies (apart from a lizard dude). Shop right next to reception. Be careful if you climb on the rocks to the right of the beach as it s not the safest mini adventure i ve ever embarked on! But yeah, Yacht Club kicks ass, nice staff too.

The Samui Yacht club is, unfortunately, a hotel which is in urgent need of money being spent on it. The hotel is shabby and a number of features, e.g. the jacuzzi, have not worked for a while. Our rooms were superior with a sea view. The room was fine, bedroom and bathroom, and the latter had been refurbished but the Sea view was completely obscured by the palm trees outside the window. If you have problems with mosquitos you are going to be eaten alive. In summary the hotel is shabby and we saw many better for the same sort of price on the island.

Location perfect in own quite beach, excellente food and nice staff. But we were very disapointed about the room, booked and paid extra in advance for beach front deluxe, but that room was not available until 3 days later. The room was not deluxe standard, standard was lower and the rooms needed to be refreshed, holes in the wall so mosquitos could get in. We complained and got 500 baht per day back. I think the ad on the web sawadee.com should be a little more up to date not to disapoint customers, the price of 3300 baht (3 persons) for a ´´deluxe´´ room like this is to expensive and misleading.

Excellent value for money. Suited for nature lovers, (mostly) quiet, good rooms, nice setting, very green and shady, enough space between the bungalows, good food (and excellent breakfast), medium size resort, nice staff. What may be negative for some people: 15 minutes drive by Song Thaew to Chaweng (far!) to have another restaurant for a change. Too short beach stretch for sportive people.

Absolutely professional as expected.

Nice situated at Silver beach between Chaveng and Lamai. However beach was not clean and the restaurant was not attractive.
