Very nice location in the bay with nice pool at the beach! The rooms are ok but feels a little old. But we would like to return and can realy recommend it!	Worked perfect. One thing is that no one picked us up at the airport. That would have been nice.

Der direkt angrenzende weisse Strand ist wirklich sehr schoen, flach abfallend und liegt in einer romantischen von palmen und Kasuaren Büschen Bucht. Das hotelhat Liegen am Strand an und der Service ist professionell und sehr persoenlich. Die Bungalows liegen in einer tropischen Atmosphaere mit Blick in die Anlage.Das white house ist eine kleine sehr gepflegte Anlage mit sehr persoenlichem Flair. \r\nWir koennen die Anlage sehr empfehlen. Das Fruehstueck ist in Buffettform aufgebaut und ist sehr reichhaltig und gut. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohlgefuehlt.

About 20 minutes from the airport Staff v friendly and willing to help with smile nothing too much trouble. Swimming pool good size possibly slightly over chlorinated for my liking but v clean Sea particularly good for children .It is calm, the sand is smooth and depth increases very gradually. Plenty of umbrellas and recliners on the beach(No extra charge) Dinner is often served on the beach and it is an experience. Very good value for money We (three adults) enjoyed our stay and no hesitation in going there again	Had slight difficulty when tried to ring the hotel direct as I was trying to book three different rooms with different requirements but was soon sorted out with email

alison joanne jones 2008-02-27 until 2008-03-05	White House Beach Resort & Spa, Choeng Mon Beach The best in Samui!!! we have just spent 2 weeks staying at The White House with our 2 small children and have had a truly wonderful time.We originally booked to stay for one week with the intention of staying somewhere different for our second week but after looking at several other resorts including the Sala Samui(Choengmon Beach)nothing compared to the all round excellence of this place. We stayed in a junior suite which faced onto the pool...perfect.The rooms are by no means new but they are immaculatley clean and have lots of space and a truly authentic Thai feel as does the whole resort which to me is the whole reason for going to Thailand.The fresh friut, cake and thai tea that was left in our room daily was a really nice touch and much appreciated by my 3yr old!!!The white House commands the prime position of Choengmon beach which is I believe Samuis best as it is quiet,safe and pretty wether it is high or low tide.The gardens of the resort a so beautiful I m missing them already.Fantastic staff,so helpful and friendly.The restaurant serves excellent food and Choengmon Beach has several other great places to eat if you don t feel like venturing down to Chaweng.We will definately be back to stay here again...... just magic!! Nice and warm welcoming. Very big clean room so, that you can place all from your suitcases. It has both aircon and fan. The garden is fantastic, so exotic and beautiful. The restaurant is one of the best with both western as well as Thai food, which we are very fond of. The staff is very nice and helpful. The beach is one of the best at Koh Samui. Small, Quiet, white sand, no big waves, nice for the kids and the grownups, with a lot of possibilities for relaxing, playing and having fun. That’s for sure – we are back next year.	Very easy and fully satisfactory

The room was nice, cleaned every day and complimentary fruit and water was left. I would definately recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a relaxing time by the beach.	Sawadee was great. Øyvind Askedal 2007-10-02 until 2007-10-14	White House Beach Resort & Spa, Choeng Mon Beach This is a nice resort in the middle of the Choeng Mon beach. I stayed here for 11 nights recently and found both the hotel and the staff very satisfying. We stayed in the junior-suite wich is ok. I don t know what makes it a suite comparing to the other ordinary rooms, but maybe we got a DVD-player or a better location to the pool.. The beds are somewhat hard and the bathroom could need an upgrade. Everyday we had fruit or tea and bisquits served + newspaper. There were also TV with several international channels and a minibar + coffee-fascilities. The resort is a bit compressed, having no big areas or green lawns. It only has one main-street between the villas down to a pool and restaurant. The restaurant is very nice. Many choice of dinners (both thai and international) and drinks. Wine is expensive, but that s the way all over Thailand. From the restaurant you re just metres from the lovely beach and sea. Almost every night the restaurant serves delicsious fish (I tasted shark and lobster - very good) on the beach. They actually move the restaurant out on the beach and bring nice candles lights and live guitar-music. Very romtantic :-). The staff is truely amazing! They were cleaning the pool when we first got there, but it was ready for a swim some days later. It is a nice pool, and not to crowded. Although I could imagine it beeing somewhat different in high-season times. Not to big pool either, but ok. Choeng Mon beach is a very clean and small beach (about 1-2 km) with no problem with low or high tide water. It is not a snorkling-place - the water is not clear as you might think (please visit Koh Tao/NangYang Island if snorkling is you re favourite thing - Samui is nothing) You can rent kayakk or jet skies on the beach. There are also a handfull other restaurants on the beach, but the White House restaurant is both cheap and nice compared to the others.. They also have thai-massage all over the beach + tailors. The staff and reception were great. Unfortunately not everyone speaks fluid english, but in most times it was never a problem. They can also arrange for taxies, tours and other things for you (it may be better than strolling the streat outside and get a bad tour-deal etc.) Chaweng is 300Baht (one way) away with local taxi. Choeng Mon centre (just outside the hotel) is nothing particular and never a place you would go shopping. There is a nice 7/11 nearby where you can buy grosceries. There are also ATM-maschines out on the street. I d still prefer Chaweng for shopping or a nice restaurant visit. My conclusion: OK things: - Value for money - Friendly and great staff - Clean rooms - Nice location by the nice and calm Choeng Mon beach - Good restaurant with good food and great staff - Never lack of towels or sun-beds (by pool or beach) Bad things: - Bathroom needs an upgrade (nothing wrong, just needs a fresh up) - Very compressed resort (no big areas or places for the kids to be) - Dogs on the beach (but I think this is all over the island) - Many sellers on the beach (if you don t like them, as I do)	Sawadee had a great booking service. No problem and very informative by e-mail upon arrival. Everything went great! I will use this agency again.

The hotel is also very nice but but be sure to pick the right room. We booked the suite and it was located far away from the beach and with one steep staircase up. We changed to a superior room closer to the beach witch satisfied our needs much better. I would try to book the junior suits that is placed next to the pool. The buffet breakfast was very good. Staff is very helpful but not so good at English so be sure to explain so they understand. Cheap and good massage at the beach. We would definitely stay here again.	Very good booking service, even changed rooms and got refund with no problems.

We stayed in a ground level garden suite and the room was - in our opinion - a little bit dark, we would recommend to take a 1st floor suite. Room and bath were clean, the whole service was fine, pleasant and helpful. Beach is fine and sandy and for families with children this place would be perfect. The restaurant at the beach offers good food. We stayed for 4 days and we enjoyed being there.

Not the most luxurious, but wery good location at the Choengmoon beach with wery helpful and friendly staff. We were a bit dissapointed because we ordered a room with two bedroom because of the children. When we got our room the door between the rooms where broken. It was unpossible to close and could not be fixed. But because we had a room with poolwiew, so children could sleep at daytime when we used babycall and stayed in the pool. There are only two rooms with directly wiew to the pool, so you better order early if you like one of them. (I strongly recomend if you have small children.) There is very little/ no sun in the garden between the other rooms, and be aware of long stairs to get to 2 floor rooms. If there is something missing at this place, it must be a relaxinplace to sit outside rooms. The restaurant is wery good, and staff wery helpful. The beach is the best on Koh Samui if you have children, -wery calm water here. Visit the massage ladies on the beach, very good and lot cheaper than at hotel. Not to much to do at night, everything was closed at 11 o clock. Recomend the taylor across the street KING S TAYLOR. They give you best price and quality on the clothes.(We tryed differents.) Recomend this place if you like small, cosy hotels, and care for a good beach. Quiet place, but near by Chaweng and Boputh if you like some moore action! Here you can relax!!! Love to go back.	Good service and easy to use. Wery helpful when we needed to make changes. We ll use next time as well.

Excellent staff particularly Tao and Jiew who are always helpfull and with a large smile. This hotel is the best place for familly. Thanks a lot for this pleasant moment!!	The booking service was efficient and quick aswer to any inquiries.

I thought it was overpriced for the quality of the room and the hotel. We had a Junior Suite and the first room we were given smelled so musty that we had to request another room. The room was in need of refurbishment. Overall, I would choose a different hotel next time.	Sawadee is always gives excellent service.
Elisabeth and Robert 2007-06-09 until 2007-06-14	White House Beach Resort & Spa, Choeng Mon Beach We stayed one night in the Junior Suite and the rest in the Changdao Suite. Would recommend the Junior Suite. The Changdao Suite does look very nice in Thai Ayutthaya Style (everything wood, nice statues,...), but you hear everything around you and everybody can hear everything from you. And the suite is close to the reception,so it is far away from the beach. In the Junior Suite we got a honeymoon welcome with rose blossoms all over the room and a heart made of rose blossoms on the bed and a huge flower basket. Fruits or pinapple cookies every day on the room, the resort itself with lots of plants everywhere, very nice. Restaurant is definately overpriced, same quality but much cheaper at the next restaurant just 20 meters away. The beach is fine, but very flat. At least 5 tailors on Choengmon Beach, but no other shops besides Seven 11 and 2 small local shops and a pharmacy. Not a good place if you want action or shopping possibilities, but good place to relax. Would recommend it.	Nothing to complain about, very good !
Mary Davies 2007-05-04 until 2007-05-09	White House Beach Resort & Spa, Choeng Mon Beach The gardens, pool area and beach were lovely, and there were an excellent variety of foods for breakfast, as I d expected from the reviews and internet research. I was a little dissapointed to see a jet ski hire set up on the beach as I was expecting it to be a quiet location. None-the-less, it was a great spot for swimming and getting some rays. We stayed in the Thai Suite as we were celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary. The staff had gone to a great deal of effort to decorate the bed with flower petals, and there was a fresh flower arrangement in the room - both of which were lovely. The daily delivery of papers, tea and biscuits or fruit were also refreshing touches. The negative aspects relate to the suite. Although the private courtyard and deck chairs were great, the suite was unfortunately quite dark, musty smelling and leaked badly in serveral places in the living area after a heavy down pour (which probably explained the smell), and we had lots of mosquitos to contend with inside - despite the screens. The other rooms within the resort are much newer and may not have these some problems.	Booking service was very efficient.

Food was lovely and rooms very nice and very clean. We originally planned to stay 4 nights and then changed our booking to 11 nights because we were so happy with this hotel. The beach area is lovely. Very relaxing to sit and enjoy the views around the shore. Nice places to eat also near the hotel including a lovely Indian restaurant just accross the road. Not much shopping near the hotel but that is just a 6 min taxi drive away into Chaweng. Overall, we were extremely pleased with this hotel and would definately revisit again :-)	Excellent. Lush garden and eve though the rooms were tight it didn´t fell that way because of the garden. Nice rooms although the bath tub as a little torn. Very good breakfast. Pleased with everything. The rooms are spacious and clean with all amenities. Breakfasts good and varied. Can t really go wrong with this choice.	I ve been using sawadee for years and would not go past it for a booking service. Always requests are dealt with promptly and efficiently. An outstanding service for which I am constantly grateful.
Reece Jones 2006-10-19 until 2006-10-27	White House Hotel, Choeng Mon Beach This hotel is wonderful. The beach is the nicest on Samui and the hotel is gorgeous. Best hotel for the money I have been to in Thailand (and I have been to quite a few in Phuket, Chaing Mai, Cha-am, Ko Chang, Ao Nang, and Ko Lanta). Only negative is that the bar and food is expensive but cheaper options are available right next door on the beach. Stay here.	good

The accomodation was first class, the staff were very freindly and could not do enough for you. The food in the resturant was suberb and the service excellent. The grounds were immaculate with lots of plants and statues. We will certainly be staying there again.	This is the fouth time we have used sawadee and the service is so easy to use. We have never had any problems.
Marcus Chang 2006-05-20 until 2006-05-23	White House Hotel, Choeng Mon Beach The White House Hotel was everything I had read written by previous costomers from nice restaurant, beautiful vegetation, to low water pressure for the shower. Over all the value was great especially the 3 nights pay only 2 during slow season. We also received a fruit basket and flowers in our room. Service was excellent including tour arrangemnts and laundry and every staff member was kind and helpful. The swimming pool was good and only deep area was in the middle of the pool -- great for soemone just learning how to swim. The food was very delicious no matter what you order from steak to seafood to potato soup. The only thing I did not like was the many flies visiting our food in the restaurant. I agreed with the previous customers that the restaurant was better indoor. It is really number one place for homeymooners for romance and quiet living. It was not far from Chaweng Beach with a lot of shops and restaurants but difficult to find a restaurant with air condition. The owner of the beach tailor shop told us that during heavy rain the whole area was covered with a couple of feet of water but we did not experience it ourselves, although one heavy rain happily chased all the flies away when we dined in the restaurant. I was a little disappointed with Mr. Ung s Big Game Fishing while only 5-10 fish were caught and we did not barbecue on the boat or take back fish to hotel as advertised. Cheongmon Beach was bigger but not as clean and cozy as Leela (Seekatang) Beach in Ko Phangan. Depending on the individual occasion, White House Hotel is definitely high quality, very clean and very recommended. I will come back for another honeymoon.	Sawadee was very good, the best reservation system that I have found. They charged only 100 THB for the service.

Stayed in one of the suites, but checked out early because we didn t feel it was value for money. Suite was quite dull and no view and the hotel bar was being renovated which was noisey throughout the day and early evening. This hotel would suit families with young children.	Great booking system
Mrs. Han-Li Christoffersen 2006-04-15 until 2006-04-21	White House Hotel, Choeng Mon Beach We just came from Koh Chang, where we stayed at the Panviman Resort, which was excellent and calm. The White House is busy and a little bit worn down. There was absolutely no water pressure and bathing meant having hot/cold showers with little water. We had a Junior Suite, which was exactly the same size as the normal rooms. The staff, however, were absolutely impeccable. Friendly and always doing their very best to help, great with kids and they even organized a birthday cake for our 6 year son without being asked. We chose to go the the Ban Laim San Resort for the last two nights, as The White House and the beach was too crowded for us.	Okay and without any problems.

Downside was as no bar facilities to sit and relax in we spent alot of time in Cheong Mon bungalows and Otto s during the day. Very pleasant surroundings, the gardens & rooms were immaculate. Great time was had, however breakfast choice was not varied enough and the restaurant layout of tables was cramped.	Excellent, very easy to use and have recommended the site to friends

The hotel is lovely (especially the gardens) and in a fantastic location. Staff were very friendly and helpful and especially great with our little boy! Would recommend highly and look forward to returning!!	Fast and very efficient. Will use again!

It is located well away from the hustle of Chaweng- be advised that cabs to get into town are about $7 one way. The pool is very nice- this isn t a luxury property but location is very beautiful, grounds are very pretty, staff is excellent- helpful, polite and accomodating. I would rate it a 3 star and would definitely recommend it for it s charm and location.

However, after a couple of days we realised we had come to a very special place. The staff were very attentive but not over friendly, food was good and the beach location was perfect. I think we chose one of the best beaches on Kho Samui. We would only return if owners spent money on upgrading the bedrooms and front of house.	No problems, would book through sawadee again.

We enjoyed the gorgegous gardens and loved the sitting room and tea and cookies/fruit that was brought to us each day in our room. The staff was also very helpful and the beach and the water beautiful! It was a great place for laying out on the beach and for swimming in the ocean (a beautiful sandy bottom). The only dissapointing thing was that the breakfast buffet often had ants crawling in the fruit, jams, and by the juice glasses. It was important to go early to breakfast so that you wouldn t see the little critters!(breakfast was served outside) Other than that, the hotel was very quaint and my husband and I would go back again!	No problems, very easy. It did surprise to know that they charge your credit card the very same night even before staying at the hotel.

We were moved into 3 different rooms within 24 hrs of arrival due to different problems and the room we were eventually settled in had a bathroom that stank of sewage and a spa bath that didn t work. The restaurant was very poor for the price it was charging, the service was pretty hit and miss too. Cheong Mon beach itself has undergone a lot of development and is now rather busy and full of hawkers constantly patrolling the beach, it s lost all it s charm as far as I m concerned.	Excellent as always.

Allen McMahon 2006-02-22 until 2006-02-26	White House Hotel, Choeng Mon Beach Simply put, the White House is awesome. I did a lot of research on line trying to decide where to stay on Koh Sumui. I decided on the White House and must say that I was not in the least bit disappointed. In fact, the White House surpassed every expectation I had of the place. My wife and I spent our honeymoon (5 days and four nights) at this wonderful hotel and must say we were both thoroughly impressed. The hotel is lovely. The plant life on the grounds of the hotel is spectacular. The hotel staff is totally professional and absolutely committed to ensuring you have a wonderful stay. The rooms are excellent too. We stayed in the Junior Suite, which we enjoyed very much, and offered plenty of room to relax and be very comfortable. This is the place to be if you want a relaxing and inviting environment. Every room is seconds from the pool and beach area. The pool and beach area are lovely, relaxing and just a great area to spend some time in the sun. If you want to get around on the island, I would recommend renting a motorbike. My wife and I rented a motorbike from a small business right across the street from the White House. The price is very affordable (about three U.S. dollars a day). It’s the best way to get around the island for some sight seeing, etc. This place comes highly recommended. We will be staying at the White House again next time we come to Koh Sumui, which should be next year.	Very professional. Easy to use and no problems at all. Highly recommended.

After visiting most of the island, I am very pleased to have chosen the Cheung Mon beach, as this was one of the cleaniest and queiter beaches. 100% recomend anyone staying here. Didn t want to leave!	Booking service was very good, but instant booking reservation would have improved the service. Like the idea of moblile phone text message alert

The hotel was even better than described. The management and staff were the perfect hosts, and served us far beyond our expectations.	I have booked 3 hotels using sawadee. Their service has always been first class, and I shall use them again!

There where four apartements in every building on each side of the road down to the beach. The hotel is situated in the middle of the beach. The garden was magnificent - felt like amazonas and the furniture and entrance of the hotel was quite nice. Travelled with a child - 14 months - and the staff was absolutely fantastic. The room was very big and the every day cleaning was very good. Breakfast buffet was inkluded and there was a lot to choose from. The breakfast was served almost on the beach. The reception was very helpfull - could rent motorbike, order daytrips, sightseeing etc. The hotel also had three computers which was free to use for the guest - very good for images and burning cd. The water pressure was turned down to save water so it was hard to get a proper shower. The quality of the restaurant varied too much. Many lovely restaurants on the beach and prices where much cheaper. Will especially mention Crystal restaurant with a very special atmosphere and delicious food. People come back there year after year. Choengmon beach is nice and quiet, but all the dogs should not be a part of the beach. Many guests had earlier stayed in Imperial Boat House , but prefered White House because it was a much more personal hotel . We would definately go bach if we had the opportunity; to all the lovely people working there; Tum, Ging, Seng, Muk, Jiew, Pui, Urai, Tik and all the others. Thank you ! ;(O)	Very professional
David Chait 2005-12-30 until 2006-01-05	White House Hotel, Choeng Mon Beach Beautifully decorated hotel on in my opinion the best beach on the island. Also close to Chaweng if you want nightlife. Very comfortable room (deluxe room) with the hotel welcoming us as a honeymoon couple with a special effort. Problems with the plumbing were encountered but fixed speedily but the shower was not up to standard. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Overall the perfect honeymoon destination on Koh Samui.	Superb. No problems encountered at all.

One extra special aspect of our stay was the tea and fruit/cookies that were left in our room every evening. Gorgeous foliage throughout the property. Nice pool. Beachside restaurant (including the complimentary buffet breakfasts) was very pleasant. Rooms (including the junior suite) were pretty basic but very clean. Beach was quiet. Only concern was that it was not as easy as desired to get into Chaweng from the hotel - it was 300 baht one way for a cab ride that should have cost less than 100 baht.	Excellent.

Could do with a place to sit outside comfortably near the room (small children needs) Would return. Delightful food.	Easy and no hassle.

Jan Holt 2005-04-25 until 2005-04-26	White House Hotel, Choeng Mon Beach Stayed at this hotel three times, each time, was real pleasure to stay there, the rooms are perfect, short walk to the beach, beach beautiful with calm waters and plenty of things to keep you busy during the day. The pool was very clean and inviting. Restaurant very romantic atmosphere and breakfast had good choices. Staff were very friendly - definately stay there again, no hesitation. Difficult to find fault with anything, rooms staff food all excellent. Would we come back, YES. We have holiday d in the far east for over 10 years and have yet to find much to complain about. Tialand is by far our most favorite destination, such beautiful people and wonderful hotels.	Will use again, 1 minor hick-up on booking, but soon sorted

It is quiet, beautiful and simply a wonderful relaxing place - if you want a romantic stay - this is the place. The gardens and the beach is absolutely amazing and gorgeous. Do rather stay here then in Chaweng Beach if you are after a more intimate stay. The only slight criticism is that the breakfast buffet was not always in best shape (fruits were not freshly prepared at times, some plates remained empty). We would defininitely recommend this place.	This has to be one of the best booking services ever experienced.
