Kyle J 2009-06-01	Sans Souci Samui, Chaweng Beach Absolutely wonderful. I picked Sans Souci because i wanted somewhere away from the noise but no far enough away that i couldnt go make some noise if i wanted. The staff there are all more than helpful and understanding (we locked ourselves out several times but no porblem with 24hr front desk). Housekeeping is fantastic and of a high standard. The room service was excellent also (one of the best Tom Yum goong ive ever had). I reccommend this place for everybody you wont be dissapointed. So glad i stayed here and will definitely return but with a large group of my friends next time!!	Excellent! Hotel booking was easy, airport transfer was there waiting for me even though i was 30 minutes late due to lost baggage.
Alex 2009-05-16	Sans Souci Samui, Chaweng Beach The hotel staff were helpful and friendly the whole week we were here. It had a really family feel and all the staff knew us every time we came back to reception for our key, something I doubt that would occur in the larger resorts. Our room was really spacious, as was the shower and bathroom. The manager, Bow, booked us a taxi back to the airport which was less than what we paid coming from the airport. The whole place was kept meticulously clean and our room was made up every day. The whole ambience was delightful - lovely tropical plants growing everywhere and our room was next to a pond with huge goldfish swimming around. There were delightful statues with taps for washing the sand off after going to the beach which was about 30 metres from our room. The alfresco breakfast was included every day - it was simple but started our day with something in our stomachs.	No problems whatsoever. If you can t read the prominent sign that says credit cards are not accepted, go somewhere else!

Bow & Na are so helpful nothing is too much trouble, the rest of the staff are all polite happy smiley people. The rooms are cleaned every day with fresh towels. The food is excellent, I don’t think I should say anymore just in case there is no room for me when I return.	The booking service was good,again if you asked a question they responded within 24 hours. I would use Sawadee again to book my Holidays

miss kimberley sanders 2008-12-26	Sans Souci Samui, Chaweng Beach We stayed at this resort for 2 days and it was a lovely place. Its situated right at the other end of chaweng beach which was the quieter end of the beach. It took about 10-15 mins to walk/start getting near the centre of chaweng. There was a building site right next door which we didn t expect but it didn t spoil our stay. We stayed in the a deleuxe beachfront appartment which was really spacious, view of the beach, staff were ok. Other residents were quite potentious which spoilt it for us but it was ok for the 2 nights
LIU/YUE 2008-11-17	Sans Souci Samui, Chaweng Beach It was lucky for us to choose Sans Souci Samui to spend our holidays.The small Thai-style hotel is very sweet,and the room is always clean and comfortable.We live the delux room which was inches away form the beach for 4 nights,enjoy the sunshine at daytime and waves sounds at night.The staff are very kind and helpful,as well as the local people whenever we met.We love Samui-the pure and cute island!It gave us a lot of memories of fantastic sceneries and wonderful leisure time!We will definitly be back to Samui in future,and Sans Souci Samui will always be our first choice!	high efficiency and very covenient!
Xu Feng 2008-10-02	Sans Souci Samui, Chaweng Beach A lovely hotel with beautiful beach. I was supposed to stay two days, but when I compared it with other hotels, I decided to stay for more days. The service is excellent, especially the recetion, nana, is wonderful. The only question is that the hotel is a little far away from the centre of Chaweng Beach and need twenty minutes of walk. But to me this is not the problem. I am pursueing the peach rather than noise	Quick, excellent!
G Sewell 2008-09-10	Sans Souci Samui, Chaweng Beach We have just returned from 2 lovely weeks in samui Although we travelled around for most of our time there we started and ended our trip at the Sans Souci Hotel.We enjoyed our first few nights there so much with its wonderful,friendly staff we felt we had to return to wind down before our trip home.Nothing was to much trouble for the very polite & professional manager,she helped anyway she could and arranged our return to the airport at a frction of the cost when we booked ...We would recommend this hotel to anyone	When we got to the Hotel the booking company hadn t confirmed our booking but the hotel manager sorted our problems so you need to check and re-check the booking as been confirmed

Bavilli Letizia 2008-09-06	Sans Souci Samui, Chaweng Beach Avevamo prenotato al San Souci per tre notti,dopo aver letto le varie recensioni positive di tutti i clieni;avevamo inizialmente prenotato una deluxe vista mare situata al primo piano.Quando siamo arrivati abbiamo avuto una piacevole conferma e anzi siamo rimasti più che piacevolmente sorpresi di constatare che era meglio di quanto fosse descritto e di quanto le foto potessero rendere.La prima camera era molto spaziosa,arredate nello stile tipico Thai,molto confortevole e pulita.Visto l esito positivo,abbiamo deciso di prolungare il nostro soggiorno per altri 8 giorni ma ci siamo spostati in un bungalow,leggermente più piccolo ma sempre confortevole,con una bella terrazzina affacciata sul giardino e su un laghetto pieno di enormi pesci. Perfettamente collocato alla fine della bella spiaggia di Chaweng,attrezzata con lettini e ombrelloni,a soli 5 minuti dal centro,l albergo di sole 23 camere è immerso in giardino tropicale curatissimo,molto carino e tranquillo,accanto c è un cantiere aperto per la costruzione di un nuovo complesso alberghiero ma vi assicuro che non da il minimo fastidio. Il personale è molto gentile e disponibile,sono maniaci della pulizia(ogni giorni veniva cambiata la biancheria della camera,asciugamani e teli mare),Bow,la responsabile dell albergo è estremamente carina e gentile,sempre disponibile per risolvere qualsiasi problema.Hanno un ottimo risorante,con prezzi irrisori;la colazione,compresa nel prezzo,era ricca,abbondante e varia. Un piccolo angolo di paradiso,ve lo consiglio vivamente se quello che state cercando è un ambiente tranquillo e piacevole,ad un passo dalla movimentata vita di Chawehg.

Bow, the manager is excellent and she really makes you feel as her guests. The beach at the hotel is defintely the best in chaweng, the rooms are clean and the showers are good even the food is very good. We enjoyd it so much that we returned after 2 weeks and stayed for 3 moore nights and next time at Koh Samui there will be no doubts of where we will stay. Very good value for money.	Perfect

The Rooms are very nice and clean, the food is very good and the Beach is the best and cleanest of Chaweng. Quiet at Night and just 10 minutes to walk to Nightlife ! Special thanks to Bow at the Reception. She s the Soul of that Place. The other Staff was also very kind and attentive! It was a wonderful vacation and I can highly recommend that Place! I really like the hotel, the rooms are very clean and the people who work there are friendly. The food is great. There is no pool, but the hotel is located right on the beach, the best part of the beach I might add. The price is reasonable for what you receive. This place is great for families, couples and for people travelling alone as you can easily meet people here. I would definitely stay as Sans Souci again.	The booking service were great and I had no problems.

john dowling 2008-05-27 until 2008-06-04	Sans Souci Samui, Chaweng Beach Just come back from a stay at Sans Souci hotel and a good hotel for the money paid,friendly staff,pleasant surroundings,close to or right on beach,room was bit dark but clean and comfortable,no hot water in our room though (No14) but cold was bearable. very laid back hotel on a nice part of the beach.Hotel could make more money by asking guests when around the beach area would you like a drink or something to eat,as we had to keep going to reception for that. Also there is a large building project going on at present right next door to hotel so ask for room on the other side,say for next 6 months at least. Also was not informed of the building work being carried out, but not too much noise. all in all a pleasant stay and would recommend.	Good service and prompt replies,could have informed us of the building work right next door.

I cant say much about the usual every day business at Sans Souci Samui since I was sick and spent the most of the time in my room. But its surely a very nice, clean athmosphere with large bungalows and terraces. And the most important thing to me: a very helpful manager, she is the heart and the power of this hotel and did so much for me. Thank you so much Bow (and your crew)!(AND: Dear Bow, please contact me, I just can t find your E-mail-address anymore. Maybe sawadee can give this over to you, I hope so. I m almost ok by now, the flight and everything worked out. I ll wright you everything if sawadee helps me with this note, otherwise I ll send a normal post letter to the hotel. (Thank you sawadee if you will help.))	Great service, very functional and fast answers, thank you. (Only the taxi booking you also offered didnt work but it was no problem at all at the airport.)

It was my first time, and a very easy, simple, friendly place it was too. Absolutely on the beach, and although no pool, the sea is right there. Don t expect 5 star luxury as the rooms are fairly basic, yet perfectly fine. And yes, I ll be looking forward to adding next time that it will be my second time back!	Very efficient.

Only a 10 minute walk to all the restaurants/shop in town. We never needed a taxi during our stay. Front desk is very helpful with local excursion info and will negotiate discounts for you. Also will set up taxi to/from airport for you. Very attentive to detail.	Worked out perfectly even with changing dates etc... Received prompt email responses whenever contacted.

Food was good, service very attentive, no problems whatsoever. Locationwise: for us, it was great since we wanted to stay at a quiet place and if you wanna go shopping or for dinner inland you can always hop onto one of the taxis which will bring you there for 100baht (3USD) in 3 minutes, but this hotel is certainly far away from the main party area. As for the price: For those who have been to Thailand before and think that 3000 Baht is expensive, I agree, but it will be hard to find something on the beach with air-con etc. for this price, so to sum up, great value and a great stay	no problems, got back to me within the minute

Room was near the restaurant so is room noisy? But soon we noticed that we had made perfect choice. Actually we spend one more night after we came back from Koh Tao before leaving Samui. PROS: - Personnel is helpful and service is good. - Clean rooms - Peaceful althought road is near - Beach is close and cleaned every morning. That cannot be said about other hotels. - Beach is nice for kids. - Water is clear, north end of the Chaweng has dirty water - Comfortable beds. Usually stone hard but not in here. - Short walk to the restaurants etc. CONS: - No pool if you require that - Breakfast is limited compared to big hotels buffet. Might be boring if you stay long (that happens in every hotel) There were construction work on next site but at least now it was noisy and they stopped work at decent time.	Easy and effective. I can recommend.

The hotel was clean, well appointed, good food, lovely beach, beautiful setting and well cared for landscaping. Staff were friendly, efficient and helpful. Decor is old dark wood - very comfortable. Room was large and airy - great balcony - good bed - everything you need but a phone - and I was glad not to have one. I d go back in a heartbeat and highly recommend it. Not right in the thick of parties and disco which also suited me well. You could walk to the night life or take a cab for very reasonable price. Thank you Sans Souci. I am Canadian (that s not the beer either)	Booking service was great - no problems - did just what they said they would. Again - I recommend them.

Five minutes south of the serious crowded traffic......and therefore quiet......and a five-minute walk to anything you would need (ATM, pharmacy, good food, etc.)......Beautiful people running this place, gracious and full of life......Food so good and so inexpensive that I confess I ate most of my meals at the hotel......Deluxe bungalow just steps from the water.........Such a terrific deal......THE ONE THING YOU SHOULD KNOW IN ADVANCE -- CAUGHT ME WAY OFF GUARD (but DEFINITELY not worth going elsewhere for) IS THAT THEY DON T TAKE CREDIT CARDS. GUESTS HAVE TO PAY IN CASH. It s a policy that ought to change. But considering the incredibly gracious service, the delicious, way-inexpensive food, and the beauty and quiet of the setting, as someone who s traveled a LOT, this is one of my top five deals anywhere.	Effortless -- although I confess that (since Sawadee took my credit card and they must have known the resort didn t) I would have appreciated a little warning.

Could not believe the gardens, amazing, cleaned and tended to every day. Right on the beach, it s like a private beach and has own massage hut so you can have massage on beach in the shade. Excellent customer service, staff could not do enough for us. Booked this hotel after reading reviews on this site and glad we did!! Will definitely return.	Great communications and easy to use.

I was not disappointed after my stay. I stayed at Sans Souci for 11 days and after walking up and down the beach many times, I realized that we did pick the best place to stay. I would highly reccommend this hotel if you are looking for a quiet, affordable, relaxing vacation away from the party area on Chaweng Beach. Don t be discouraged though, with only a 15 minute walk, you are in the heart of the shopping/bar district. We will return!	Very easy

They can t do enough in a low key, attentive but not in your face way. During our stay they coped very well with a medical emergency,and the paramedics arrived within minutes. The furniture in the rooms is tired and old but everything is immaculate. We would like to recommend Miss Bow in particular. A great stay and we will be back again.	Brilliant as always.....

Couldn t have been easier. However,you should make it clear that this resort doesn t accept Credit Cards for any payments.This would not have been a problem if we had been aware but as we were not it became a minor aggravation

Without charge, they came to the rooms with the breakfast every morning. If you are looking for a place in the middle of everything, this is not the place though. We have a small child and did not want to be next to all the party places, and this was the perfect place for that. In the evenings, we took a cab to the great restaurants (50 bath per person), and during the days, we were right on the best part of the Chaweng Beach. They do not have a swimming pool though, that is the only thing missing at this place. But you are 10 meters from the sea! I will definitely stay here again!	Good. Safe and serious. Although, they were not very nice when I asked if we could get reduced room price since we got a message that our seaview room did not have full sea view. I got the answer I am sure someone alse want this room if you don t take it . All I did was ask, and it seemed natural that a seaview room with limited seaview should cost less than the exakt same room with full seaview. Although, when I got there, I understood why, the room was GREAT and had a big terrace. I was worth every single bath!

MONICA FERRERI 2008-01-07 until 2008-01-14	Sans Souci Samui, Chaweng Beach Sans Souci is a very cosy and relaxed little hotel situated on the lower end of Chaweng, about 5 mins walk from where the action begins. The best thing about staying at Sans Souci, is that you have the beach right on your doorstep, one of the most beautiful beaches i have seen, away from the busiest part yet a couple of minutes to the action. So you could have relaxing quiet days indulging in a massage on the beach or walk up to the busiest part and ride a jet ski, go skiing, play volleyball etc... The service at Sans Souci was impeccable, Bow in particular was a gem, she speaks english very very well and was able to provide us with some great tips on what to do etc... The hotel its self is very clean (and was cleaned daily) with all the amenities you need. Its is not a five star hotel however its comfortable and clean. The food at Sans Souci was also very good, always fresh and plentiful. As a tip i highly recommend booking the transfers from the airport to the hotel prior as it works out much cheaper that way.	Very efficient and accurate. Thank you.

Ive been to Koh Samui 5 timesand would normally stay in the Beachcomber,but i will be staying at the Sans Souci from now on..My Husband, Mother, Father, My Son Oakley who is 17 months old (and sends big kisses X X X X to Bow (manageress) Kik, Na, Thong and all the staff)and Myself stayed for 13 nights over the Xmas and Newyear and didnt encounter any problems what so ever... the staff are fabulous (my Son Oakley adores them all) ... the rooms are spotless .. the beach is located at the quiet end of Chewang and by far the best part.. perfect ... The food is beautifully presented and taste superb..i really can t fault it in any way.. i will be booking again as soon as the flight prices come out in feb..	no problems encountered

Mr & Mrs David Shannon 2007-12-06 until 2007-12-13	Sans Souci Samui, Chaweng Beach If you are thinking of going to Sans Souci let me save you some time, stop thinking and book up! Fantastic, we had a great time and the staff are first class and very friendly. Value for money and very quite and pieceful as it is located at the end of the beach. If you want busy simply walk along the beach a way as for going into town there are lifts available every few minutes right into late at night. Food was excellant and the room was cleaned every day with fresh towels including seperate beach towels. I will be back without a doubt, thanks to all for a great time.	Booking was done over the net and all was great including the arranged pick up at the airport, once again thanks for a great holiday.
