Samui Paradise Chaweng, Chaweng Beach
WOW! This resort was perfect for our Thailand island getaway. Our Grande Deluxe Villa was a stones throw from the beach and the foliage surronding our bungalow made us experience true paradise. The resort is located at the southern end of the beach, just far enough away from the watersport activities so the water and beachfront were ours to enjoy. From days lying on the beach alternating with the pool, the service of staff was wonderful. Bringing us towels and drinks when needed. We also organized day trips, rented a motorcycle and planned taxis through the front desk. Restaurant is located right on the beachfront and the complimentary breakfast every morning is something to look forward to. We highly recommend this resort to anyone looking to experience real paradise.

Easy and confirmations are quick.

Samui Paradise Chaweng, Chaweng Beach
We have just returned from 4 nights in a Grand Seaside villa. Our villa was located very close to the beach amongst lovely tropical gardens. After 4 nights on the hillside at Sandalwood villas we always knew it was going to be a hard act to follow. Our bungalow was small but quite adeqate considering we spent most of our time on the beach anyway. The bungalows have a lovely seating area on the verandah which really adds to their character. A spray hose is located next to each bungalow for washing off the sand from the beach. The highlight of Samui Paradise is its beachfront location. It is on the very southern end of Chaweng beach which has lovely clean white sand and clear water. It is a very pretty and peaceful location. We enjoyed being away from the main centre of Chaweng and most evenings caught a songthaew up to the end of the beach and wandered back, stopping for a drink, something to eat and a bit of shopping. It was also easy to cut through other hotels to get back onto the beach from various locations along the road. Service at the hotel was average however as I said earlier, we had been spoilt at Sandalwood prior to this. Breakfast was average and put us off eating in the restaurant in the evening. They had tables set up on the beach each evening which looked beautiful. The swimming pool was small but we only used it a couple of times to cool off when the beach got too hot for us. Plenty of sunloungers on the beach. Gardens were well maintained and much nicer than some other bungalow resorts we walked through along the beach road. There was a lovely lady selling bbq corn, mangoes, pineapple and coconuts on the beach in front of the hotel - delicious! Overall, I think this hotel could do a bit better regarding quality of service and breakfast for the price, however the location, in my opinion, is really the best on Chaweng Beach and the individual bungalows have a nice character about them.

Booking service was straightforward, easy and efficient. We would use Sawadee again without any hesitation.

Samui Paradise Chaweng, Chaweng Beach
What an absolutely fantastic resort. This is one of the best places we have ever stayed, and already are recommending it to all our friends and family. Things didn t start out well as there wasn t a shuttle to take us from the airport to the hotel, but that was the only negative of the entire trip. The hotel is beautiful, and the views from our room were the best imaginable. OK, we had probably the best room in the resort - right on the beach - but still, it was magnificent. The staff are pretty (the girls at least), well dressed, friendly, efficient, pleasant ... everything you could want. Our room was amazing and everything worked just perfectly. The food was excellent. The drinks were very well presented and nice to have a happy hour. The pool is wonderful. The service was exemplary. We will definitely be coming back here.

My wife and mom-in-law did the booking, so I can t really comment here, other than that it was disappointing that our transfer never arrived at the airport.

Samui Paradise Chaweng, Chaweng Beach
The resort and the staff were wonderful. So wonderful that we had no need to leave. The villa on the beach was perfect and the staff were kind and very attentive. We could not have asked for more, a true holiday in paridise.

The booking service sawadee.com were also great. They were very helpful and nothing was a problem even after many changes. I will be using this service again. Both my husband and I work in the airline industry and have never come across such a professional service. Thankyou for a great holiday.

Samui Paradise Chaweng, Chaweng Beach
The service, professionalism, and location couldn t be better. I ve stayed on several islands and resorts; this one topping the list. The price was excellent and I could not have been happier. At one point, I had suffered food poisoning - the hotel staff was there to escort me to the doctor and see that I made it back to my accomodation safely - for that, I owe them immensely. Thanks Samui Paradise. The room was spectacular, clean, and with the highest class immenities. Thanks a million.

There were no issues. Things were made much simpler and this service through the website will be used again; most likely to book Samui Paradise!

Samui Paradise Chaweng, Chaweng Beach
Very good hotel! Stayed at Grand Deluxe Villa of Samui Paradise for 5 nights at the end of April, 2009. If you are looking for silence and relaxation within the walking distance (10 minutes max) from very busy, noisy, crowded and quite dirty centre of Chaweng Beach - choose this hotel. The beach in front of Samui Paradise is fantastic, with shining white sand (which is very clean, soft, airy and to our opinion after walking through the whole Chaweng up to Nora Beach Resort - the best of all beach). The sea is a bit shallow during low tide, to swim without touching the bottom you should walk for around 20-25 m which was much better than in many other parts of Chaweng. There are no stones, seaweed or corals on the bottom - just flat and safe sand which can be easily seen through blue and clear water from the surface. There is a small fishermen village situated in the rocks to the south of the hotel beach, which makes no influence on either quality of water or access to sea. There are enough sun beds and umbrellas on the beach for those who prefer beach zone instead of pool one. Beach towels are being distributed by special staff on the beach (not near the pool!). Most of Grand Deluxe Villas are situated around the pool and have garden+pool+sea view. Villas are very well looked after, though you can see that the resort is not freshly open. Bathroom is quite large with all facilties working excellent. The bed was large and comfortable. Bed sheets new and clean, the same about bathroom towels. Veranda was spacious, protected from direct sunlight during the whole day, with two benches and a table in front of them, surrounded by really lush tropical garden (palms, bushes, flowers, exotic trees, etc.) and providing enough level of privacy though being close to neighboring villas and pool. Beach front villas (Paradise Suites, Honeymoon Suite, Family Suite) looked really nice, 4 of 5 have modern design. Having arrived we even wanted to upgrade our room to one of them but the price was 3 times higher than the price for wonderful Grand Deluxe Villas accomodation 5-20 meter further from the beach. So, we considered it to be very overpriced and were right. The pool isn’t large but still very nice. Usually we do not travel for pool-swimming but it seemed to us that other hotel guests were happy about the pool and the surrounding sun beds. The restaurant of the hotel was OK. Quite overpriced, serving qualitative, but not the best Thai food, nice service, prices don’t include 10% service charge and 7% VAT. On one of the evenings there even was a free Thai Dancing Show organized by the hotel for restaurant guests. Breakfast was served in the same restaurant but was nothing special, no Thai food. One could expect better selection of meals in a hotel of such price level. Still, everything was fresh and qualitative. We would rather recommend to dinner in other restaurants closer to the centre of Chaweng or VERY ROMANTIC PLACE – The Chef Restaurant – situated just in front of the hotel on the opposite side of the street. The restaurant isn’t annouced as part of Samui Paradise though it is owned by Samui Paradise Group, provides excellent service, interior and very tasty Thai food for more reasonable prices. In general, we liked the hotel and it turned out to be exactly what we expected for paid money. To our opinion this is one of the best combinations of location+beach+accomodation+value for money on Chaweng nowadays.

Booking was easy and worked very well. All our comments were passed to hotel administartion. Payment was safe.

Samui Paradise Chaweng, Chaweng Beach
A super setting - the family suite is highly recommended if you want a luxury see front holiday, with a jaccusi overlooking the sea. Excellent facilities, DVD, flat screen tv, beach towels etc. Food was OK - but I would recommend the restaurant across the road to the hotel, run by the same hotel rather than room service. Breakfast was very good - although it lacked some of the local produce that some Thai hotels have. Good setting though overlooking the beach. I do recommend it - though it is heavy on the budget!

The booking service was efficient and seamless.

Samui Paradise Chaweng, Chaweng Beach
Just returned from our first holiday in Koh Samui and selected the Samui Paradise from the web site. Absoulutely perfect in every sense. This complex is everything that you would wish on a dream holiday. The setting, gardens, beach, service is excellent. Most of all, the staff are so helpful and friendly and are a credit to the hotel. The weekly cocktail party with entertainment is a great idea. Well done Samui Paradise, we will come again!

Samui Paradise Chaweng, Chaweng Beach
Very nice resort. Stayed here for one week in a Delux Seaside Bungalow. Nice and clean. Spacious bathroom. Really good breakfast buffet. Restaurant prices quite ok. Good service. Front desk personnel could be more humble. Rest off the staff very attentive. No problem getting sunbeds and umbrellas, the towel boy takes care of that exeptionally good. Nice and clean beach. We really enjoyed our visit here.

No problem.

Samui Paradise Chaweng, Chaweng Beach
We had a stay in Samui paradise Chaweng for ten wonderful days. There are a lot of good things to tell about this hotel but we want to emphasize on the most important ones. First of all, the hotel is located in a very good place which is at the end of chaweng beach. This gives you a chance to be away from noisy chaweng center. But still chaweng center is only minutes away from the hotel, five minutes by a tuk-tuk:) or by a taxi and maximum ten minutes by foot. This hotel is the best place for people who is seeking piece and silence. You can have excellent dinners right on the beach and only ten meters away from the ocean with wonderful live music. Hotel personnel is very cheerful, pleasant and very good at what they are doing. They make each and every one feel like a VIP during their whole stay. There is a very decent spa in the hotel, CHALALAI. You should absolutely have a thai massage there, you will never regret and never forget. It is better to wake up early because you really do not want to miss a minute. The breakfast is great, you can have different fresh juices & fruits every morning. The most wonderful thing is to have breakfast around 07:30 am with a great ocean view and you can observe how the sun rises in front of your eyes while you enjoy your breakfast. There is a nice swimming pool which you can always enjoy but I strongly recommend you spend your time on the beach. The sand is literally white and soft as cotton, the ocean is very warm and steady most of the times. You will have great times on the beach while you drink your cocktail which is served in a whole young coconut. The cocktail is called samui paradise by the way:) At dinner time in the evening do not forget to check the sea food stand which is set on the beach. I recommend you to try sea food basket which contains two pcs. of blue crabs, four pcs. of tiger prawns (gigantic:):), one red snapper fish and one squid. And do not forget to ask the waiter to prepare the sea food basket in Thai style. It is much better than just BBQ. In conclusion; we give 10 points out of 10 to Samui Paradise Chaweng Resort and Spa. Thanks a lot to Samui paradise Personnel and administration for our unfogettable vacation.

I was very anxious about internet booking at first but I can assure you that from the very beginning of my booking until the end of my vacation I have never faced with a single technical handicap. Everything was like a clockwork and I can easily say that Sawadee.com is a very trustworthy and professional web site.

Samui Paradise Chaweng, Chaweng Beach
Great location at south end of beach, away from noise of the village but close enough to walk or take a short taxi ride. Staff was friendly, courteous and helpful except for the Operations Manager who was not so talkative to English spoken guests and why is the gardener watering the plants after rainfalls? Stayed in Grande deluxe cottage was disappointed. Although clean, the room was small, dark and generally unappealing. I would recommend staying only in the Beach front villas which are spacious, with comfortable king-size bed, large windows and natural light. Beach, pool, bar, restaurant was all excellent except for those days when it was rainy and windy. The buffet breakfast is of traditional standard. Cold cuts, vegetables and fruits are displayed openly where flies and insects had full access to the food.

Smooth and reliable service

Samui Paradise Chaweng, Chaweng Beach
After reading through hundreds of reviews we booked 10 nights at Samui Paradise. All in all the resort was exactly what we were chasing. The rooms arnt huge but for the price & location they were ideal. (quieter south end) If you can afford it pay a bit more for the better rooms. We were in the grand deluxe which was poolside.Room 610-great Wouldnt hesitate to recommend this resort & I m fairly fussy.Would stay here again if we were to return to Samui

Fairly easy & straight forward.

Samui Paradise Chaweng, Chaweng Beach
Very nice place at the southern end of Chaweng beach. Compared to the luxury resorts a bit further up the beach the price is very appropriate. Nice bar and restaurant at the beach and nice pool. We booked the garden cosy and this was very good. The road was right behind the bungalow which did not disturb us.

Samui Paradise Chaweng, Chaweng Beach
Very helpful staff. Lovely place of the hotel. If you ask me the best place on Chaweng beach. Breakfast is very nice. Prices of meals are the same as town, plus you have the chance to eat on the clean sand. I advice not to take the rooms near to the road because of motorbike noise, better stay at the seaview Grand villas near by the pool. The only thing is that a lot of jelly fish eggs, and left overs coming to the beach which bothers you too much and making impossible to swim. (i think this annoying thing has a season and we were there at that time. )

Absolutely helpful, easy, fast.

Samui Paradise Chaweng, Chaweng Beach
A nice resort locates at the end of chaweng beach, not too far away from chaweng centre but quieter. Suitable for family. nice beach & swiimming pool. Particually, very friendly and helpful people. We had a few wonderful evenings dinning and relaxing at the beach. However, rooms are far too small. we had to leave our suitcase in the bathroom. And we had to call the frontdesk to have hot water everyday. We are not happy with the double bed (made up by 2 single beds). My partner and I were actually seperated by the edge of two single beds. Overall, it s quite a nice place to stay if you can afford a family suite or honeymood suite.

quick & helpful.

Samui Paradise Chaweng, Chaweng Beach
Beautiful setting and the beach/ocean was amazing. Was pretty dissapointed with the rooms however. The shower was pretty disgusting and the room was tiny. On the positive side though, it was wonderful to have an actual bungalow and not stuck in some hotel room.

Samui Paradise Chaweng, Chaweng Beach
We stayed here for part of our honeymoon and it was absolutely fantastic. We booked a seaside villa and they were out of this world. We only had to walk 20 steps approx and we were on the beach! The staff were extremely hspitabel and helpful. The food was beautiful and the location was perfect. We also booked a kayaking/snorkelling trip through the reception and we got everything we were promised and more This place was definately a paradise and would strongly encourage anyone who is considering staying here. We will definately be back.

Fantastic service, very quick and helpful. A pleasure to deal with

Samui Paradise Chaweng, Chaweng Beach

Samui Paradise Chaweng, Chaweng Beach
We booked the Paradise Suite for our honeymoon and loved it! Will recommend it to others! The resort has (in our opinion) the best location on Chaweng Beach, -quiet, not crowded. The suite is right on the beach, but still private. The interiors are even more beautiful than on the pictures. We went for walks on the beach and did not see any other resort we would rather stay in. The breakfast is very good, our only complaint is the restaurant, it is not so great. The Thai-food is OK, but the western food was below expectations. Stay away from the pizza. There are plenty of places to eat on Chaweng Beach, so this is not a problem though. Hotellet anbefales på det sterkeste!

No problem.

Samui Paradise Chaweng, Chaweng Beach
Excelent hotel, very well located, good restaurant and service. The villas are beautiful and cozy, and staff is super-nice. However, some minor management issues have to be solved: in one day, they ran out of coconut; in another, diet coke and mango juice. We would definitely go back to Samui and stay in Samui Paradise again.

Very good

Samui Paradise Chaweng, Chaweng Beach
We stayed at the Paradise Suite, located directly on the beach front. The suite was fantastic, more than what I can ask for. With the bed right next to the door, I can always draw my curtains and through the ceiling-to-floor glass door, look at the sunrise on the comfort of my bed. The porch right infront is great, with a beach lounge sofa, perfect for relaxation with your love one, under the sun and viewing the beach. The outdoor jacuzzi was fantastic! It works perfectly (though it took me some time to know how it functions) and you can just laze inside and watch the sea. Amenities in the room was great, though it is true that you should bring an insect repellent with you. Ants are to be expected here and there, though not that much to scare you off. Right down the steps of the suite is the great beach. Though right on the beach, the suite still offers great privacy. Note that only 3 suites are located right on the beachfront, 1 paradise suite, 1 family suite and 1 honeymoon suite. I went to the honeymoon suite to take a look and the staff were very nice and helpful enough to let me see it. It is fantastic. Should stay in the honeymoon suite if financial is not a problem. Breakfast is ok, as the selection is not really a lot and same everday, but it is good enough. Though the resort is not located right at the heart of chaweng where all the action is, transport can be easily obtained right the front of the resort. Can always choose to walk down the beach for approx. 15-20mins and you ll reach the heart of chaweng. Probably due to the fact that the resort is located right at the end of chaweng, the portion of the beach here is pretty nice and secluded. Very nice for people who just want to relax. Staff are always so friendly and nice, very helpful and always assisting me with deciding for the day trips I want to go for and booking them for me. Though it might take a bit of effort to communicate with them, but overall, they were great, always with a smile and greeting you. Overall, I had a fantastic time and memories will always be great.

Booking was really easy through Sawadee. They have so many reviews about all the hotels and resorts, assisting patrons to decide where to stay and what to do there. I got email response from them within minutes of booking. Just remember to print your confirmation letter and bring it along with you to the hotel upon checkin.

I just have a vacation at Samui and stayed at the Family Suite of Samui Paradise Chaweng. It is a two-bedroom suite at the beach front and a jacuzzi at the balcony. The suite is excellent. The service is good. The only thing I would complain about is the pest control. There are so many ants inside the suite. Other than that, we, my husband and two children, enjoyed very much staying in this hotel. Try to book the beach front room of this hotel.

The service of Sawadee.com is excellect and reliable. I will use this website again.

Samui Paradise Chaweng, Chaweng Beach

If you do not need the hussle of Chaweng in front of your door, it is the perfect location, and you can still be downtown in a few minutes or via a nice stroll along the beach. Family suite was perfect, best equipped ( video, dimmers, jacuzzi on the terrace...), very new, own terrace over the beach. Food is nice and reasonable compared also to other restaurants along the beach. Beach very clean, away from the jetskis, but available by a short stroll. Constructin ( break down of a resort) right next door, will lead to some noise in future. Security very good, very friendly staff. If you stay in the smaler bungalows, take care about mosquitos.

Very good, no issue,

We were staying in the Grand villa. In the webpage, the room looks larger than as it appears and the pest control has to be done better especially ants (they are in the bed). Overall, the villa is cozy. Hotel services are nice. Swimming pool is great.

Samui Paradise Chaweng, Chaweng Beach
The hotel was situated at the southern end of Chaweng Beach and was therefore quiter and less crowded than up in the centre. The deluxe seaview rooms vary in that some are seaview and some are far from any seeing of the sea and the rooms are fine for couples but not very spacious if twin share. The hotel was under renovation when we got there much to our dismay as our room looked out onto a building site. The manager was most helpful and arranged for us to move to a room away from the building. The new rooms are gorgeous so if possible try and get one of those. The staff at this hotel are really lovely and attentive. Would recommend this hotel but if swimming at the beach be as there can be a dangerous rip.

Fantastic as always. 100% Reliable and always great service and prices. We have been using this service for 7 years and wouldn d use anyone else to book hotels in Thailand.

This resort was very nice for us.This is the first time stay in south chaweng. We all enjoy stay here, because here is out of busy chaweng center. It is very good for relaxing.I stay in seaside villa this time, because of this resort is not very big,so the room is not very big,but the bathroom is big.The retaurent offer good breakfast,we enjoy every morning eating with sunshine and fresh seawind. The service team is also very friendly. The pool is not big,but is fine for this kind of standard resort.Boys and girls enjoy playing water here or by the sea.My friends and my family all enjoy this resort and wish to visit again next time.Very strong recommendation for family with kids.Pls pick seaside villa type of room or suite, otherwise is too small for more people staying.

This is very good time to stay here.Because this is out of busy Chaweng center, but pretty easy for come in.We rent motobike and ride through the whole island. If you want to stay here,I suggest to choose villa type room, others is small for couple or more people. The restaurent is also good for money. The singer and band is good.Wish to be back here in the future

I like booking system very much and forward this web to a lot of my friend whom wish to be Thailand.Good tool for tourist.

Great location, huge potential but a long way to go in many areas. We booked a grand seaside villa, these are definitely the best choice. Request one around the pool but definitely not 601 (next to the restaurant and bar). Smaller rooms back on to the road, no privacy, no outlook. Beds are very hard (try requesting a new mattress!), room facilities are good, small so travel light, rooms are clean. Brilliant location - we thought the best in Chaweng, quiet, down the south end, worth the 10 min walk into the busy part of the strip. Stay away from the hotel restaurant - food is less than average. Suggest you negotiate a rate without breakfast - it was very ordinary. We walked down the road for great coffee and real breakfast for around AU$4. If you can deal with all of this, you ll have a great holiday!

Excellent, very efficient, prompt, easy to use. Will definitely book through this service again.

Samui Paradise Chaweng, Chaweng Beach
I have stayed at Samui Paradise Chaweng on a number of occasions. The fact that I have returned there each time I have visited Thailand is no accident, this is an excellent resort (for the money). The staff are professional and friendly and add a great deal to the experience of staying at this resort. The resort is located at the southern end of Chaweng, the best part in my opinion, it is beautiful and quiet. Having said that it is only a short ride into the centre of Chaweng and a short walk to the many restaurants, shopping and bars at the southern end of Chaweng. The best of both worlds. The rooms on the beach are great (quite expensive relative to the other rooms but well worth it) the sea view rooms are very nice as well. The so called garden cosy rooms are fine too but definitely a big step down from the beach front, sea view and pool view rooms. I recommend this resort to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday at a resort close enough to the action is if that is what you want but far enough away if you just want to do nothing. This resort is currently undergoing renovations and I look forward to visiting when they are complete.

I have used this service many times and it has always been excellent.

Samui Paradise Chaweng, Chaweng Beach
The resort was located on the most beautiful part of Chaweng beach (maybe a little bit far away from the action if that is what you are after - about a 15 minute walk). We stayed in a Deluxe Seaside Villa. It was a great new, spacious and clean room. The resort was not too big and had a romantic and private feel. A few criticisms in relation to our room - the gaps in the beams in the ceiling let in mosquitos at night and the lighting in the bathroom was minimal resulting in an impossibility to do makeup, look for clothes in suitcases etc. The major problems were we barely ever had hot water and the attitude of the staff. In relation to the cold water problem, we had a resort engineer in our room for up to 1.5 hours for 3 out of the 5 nights and the problem was not fixed. In relation to the staff, they were the most unfriendly of any resort in which we have stayed. There were no hellos, smiles and there were no apologies in relation to the cold water problem. I requested to speak to the manager who obviously ignored my requests and never contacted me. The resort is apparently being renovated shortly so hopefully the problem will be fixed. I would stay there again as long as the water problem was fixed and the staff learnt some basic hospitality skills.

Sawadee was excellent. It was the first time I used this service but will definately use it in future and recommend others to do so.

Jo and I enjoyed ourselves very much while staying at the resort. All the staff, including the receptionists, waitors, and cleaning ladies are very helpful and cheerful. We particularly would like to thank the Front Office Manager, Mr Wisil Pattanasing, for his warm welcome, enthusiasm. and help during our stay. We stayed at the seaview room. It is great with modern decoration and is very clean. The room is large enough to move around, with lots of greenery around the balcony. The location in the south of Chaweng gives a credit as it is very quiet. We would certainly come again the next time we come to Samui. Highly recommended.

Great hotel. Nice quiet spot on beach. Definitely recommend upgrading from garden room as it s small, hot and up the back of the resort. It s about 15 mins walk to town so we hired motorbikes from out the front for 200 bht a day.

the location on south end of chaweng beach is the greatest asset, samui paradise has! our bungalow was nice and always clean. the garden and beach gave us a very relaxed feeling. the staff of restaurant and bar is the real weakness of samui paradise. their command and understanding of english is poor at best. which really is a shame as the food and drinks are quite good.

excellent, fast, reliable and very customer oriented

Great location - away from noise of the village but close enough to walk or take a short taxi ride. Staff was friendly, courteous, helpful. Beach, pool, bar, restaurant were all excellent. However... we had a large group and anyone who stayed in the Sea View Villas or Cosy Garden Bungalows was disappointed. Although clean, these rooms were small, shabby and generally unappealing. There was a world of difference in the Grand Sea View Villa in which we stayed... spacious, floor-to-ceiling teak, comfortable king-size bed, large windows and natural light. I would recommend staying ONLY in these rooms or the Beach Front Villas.

Smooth, reliable service.

We had a wonderful stay here, the staff were fantastic, we found them very helpful(especially the girls on reception). We would stay here again. It is situated at the best part of the beach. Excellent food and we stayed in a very nice deluxe villa. Away from all of the hustle and bustle, yet only 5 minutes away in a taxi. The main road which runs along the front of all of the hotels can get quite noisy at night from traffic.
