About the hotel: Ein nettes altes resort. am südlichen ende des chaweng strandes. RUHIG! aber herabgekommen. das Personal leider nicht so freundlich, aber wenn man nichts braucht... Warmwasser akzeptabel warm. wenn man aber entspannen möchte nicht auf diesem strand.

About the hotel: I had read some bad reviews about this hotel but it was better than expected. Booked a standard room and a bungalow. The room was larger than the twin bungalow, with good space for a double bed and a single. Breakfast was good and the hotel is located on the quieter end of the beach where it is better for swimming. The air con did not work on the 1st night so hotel agreed to change our room. Staff were very helpful

About the hotel: This hotel had a great location being right on Chaweng beach but in a quieter spot near the end. The facilities were adequate for the price so if you are more concerned with location and price than the standard of the facilites this is a good choice. The rooms themselves were quite dirty and run down. The staff at this resort are friendly and helpful.
About the hotel: We booked a bungalow superior. This was our third time in Samui and we have never stayed in a worse room. Because the bungalow is built on a slope, the bed is set on a terrace more than half a metre above the rest of the room. The same goes for the bathroom, which means there is a lot of climbing to be done. The air con was dusty. But worst of all, at night, thread-like worms crawled out of our bathroom drainage hole. That wasn t too much of a surprise because the next to the bathroom wall, behind the bungalow, was an algae covered pond that was supposed to be part of the landscaping. The resort could do with a complete renovation of its rooms (at least the ones in the garden area) and change its landscaping. We checked out and found a better hotel after one night.

About the hotel: This was my sixth stay in this down-to-earth resort. Shamefully they never invested a single penny in some renovations, the bathrooms would really need some paint, and some functioning satellite TV would be nice. So this place is not for honeymooners or alike. But if you are common with budget accomodation and don t mind some walking to the bars and restaurants, then this place is a steal. Try negotiating the rates when you drop in, you can get some fair discounts.

About the hotel: I have been going to Samui Resotel for about eight years, and have always loved it. The staff are very nice and friendly, the bungalows are pretty and comfortable, the service is quick and very good. Beautiful beach and nice pool. Breakfasts are incuded, and feature omelets or eggs done however you want and a great selection of other foods, including fresh fruit. When I first got there, they had given me a nice bungalow, but a little too close to the bar. I asked to be moved, and they instantly moved me to an even nicer bungalow. I ll be back just as soon as I can.
About the reservation service: Flawless. No problems at all. My driver was there to meet me and he was very friendly and efficient.
