Pavilion Samui Boutique Resort, Lamai Beach Absolutely amazing hotel! We booked a superior room but there was construction work next to the room which we noticed when we went in so they upgraded us to a Spa Junior room. The atmosphere around the hotel is so relaxing and the hotel backs straight onto Lamai beach. The breakfast was fantastic...especially liked the new indian roti pancake!! Staff were very polite and helpful! We would definitely stay there again. |
Great service! |

Pavilion Samui Boutique Resort, Lamai Beach First time we were at The Pavilion Samui Boutique Resort in April 2008, we chose the junior suite. Our stay there was ok, but we felt the hotel was showing age and could use some maintenance. We decided to return anyhow this fall, because we enjoyed the location of it. This time, we chose the Hydro Pool. Our stay was absolutely amazing and completely exceeded all of our expectations. The staff were generally friendly and accommodating, although some of them did not master English so well. The facilities, environment and ambience of the resort were all outstanding. It was quiet, low season. Everything functional, and most of the details which we felt previously needed maintenance seemed to have been ironed out. Generally very clean all around the resort and in the room. But at times we woke up with very small ants (those are innofensive, frequent in this climate, but still annoying). They mostly entered the room from around the windows. So the cleaning lady gave us some insect spray to vaporize around the windows. It got much better thereafter. On the resort, they seem to alternate the fountains - it would be spectacular if all the fountains worked simultaneously. The restaurant was more expensive than others also on the beach side, but still reasonable considering it is part of the resort with an impeccable view. Food is very good, we just noticed portions were reduced compare to the first time we went... In the morning, it may take some time for custom order of eggs; and their English is not always good to understand your order. Need to speak clearly and slowly. The morning buffet was ok. One downside of the hotel: they are very greedy when it comes to items in the room. Last time we were in the Junior suite, they provided already-worn slippers which we left outside the back door (did not want that anywhere in our room!) When we left, they verified the room in details and couldn t find the used slippers. They were ready to charge us for them!! Fortunately, we had not thrown them in the trash which would normally have been our first reaction... (We still had already worn slippers which we left in an obvious spot before the final room inspection; needless to say that for hygiene purposes, they should provide brand new, wrapped slippers or none at all.) This time, the issue was one of the bathrobes, which the clean lady took along with used towels two days before we left and never replaced it in the room. Once again, we were interrogated on it before leaving and had to justify and explain this. They didn t charge us, but definetely should take a note when removing items from the room themselves without replacing them. We travel a lot, both for vacation and business. Never came across such an attitude. Make sure you don t loose or break anything, they ll probably charge you disproportionally compared to its worth. Beach Towels: they should propose a way to conveniently exchange used beach towels if needed(outside the once-daily service). They are quite sensitive when it comes to changing towels or requesting additional ones. Clearly an attitude this hotel should change if they wish to be a boutique accomodation (where these petty annoyance leave a bad taste in customers mouth - make you feel like your out to get them). Overall, Hydro Pool Suite definitely worth the difference vs. the junior suite; best room we have ever experienced by way of hotel accommodation of this type. Pavilion is recognized by the locals as the best place to stay in Lamai and we thorougly enjoyed our stay and would have no hesitation in returning again to Lamai, at the Pavillion. |
Hotel did not show availabilities for 6 consecutive days, but we successfully booked two separate 1-day and 5-days stays consecutively. An additional step, but no consequence to us in the end. |

Pavilion Samui Boutique Resort, Lamai Beach I was very disappointed in the hotel. For the amount of money that I paid I have stayed in much nicer places in Ko Samui and Phuket. My room was very basic, even though it was the spa junior suite. The hotel employees were not very helpful and their language skills were below average (I have been to Thailand eight times and not had this problem). The air conditioner did not work, it made loud noices and spit ice out at points in time during the night, which woke me up, but did not cool me down. I could not wait to leave and I wouldn t recomend the hotel to anyone. |
The service was user friendly and easy to communicate with. |

Pavilion Samui Boutique Resort, Lamai Beach Absolutely unsatisfied , this is not a boutique hotel but simply a 3 star hotel. The staff is incopetent, no smile on their face always. I booked a room then I upgrade to the top room spending 18000,00 bath a night , i used restaurant inside , i used mini bar inside the room , i tipped everyone during my stays then on check out day i had to pay 180 ( one hundred thai baht ) for the ash tray my GF accidentally broken. With that policy and that service soon they will lose a lot of costumers. |
perfect like always . |

Pavilion Samui Boutique Resort, Lamai Beach Fantastic hotel. We stayed 5 nights. We had booked 1 junior suite and 1 superior spa room. Junior suite was upgraded to a hydra pool villa, which was fantastic, private pool and a lovely room. The staff on Pavilion is very nice and helpful. We will for sure return to this hotel! |

Pavilion Samui Boutique Resort, Lamai Beach The Pavilion Samui Boutique Resort was absolutely amazing and completely exceeded all of our expectations. The staff were all extremely friendly and accommodating, the facilities, environment and ambience of the resort was outstanding and the restaurant was well priced with a great selection of culinary delights and a beach view that was unbeatable. We were lucky enough to be upgraded from a Junior Spa Suite to a Hydro Pool Suite, which was definitely a wonderful surprise and was the best room we have ever experienced by way of hotel accommodation. All in all, the Pavilion was by far the best place to stay in Lamai and we thorougly enjoyed our stay and would have no hesitation in returning again to Lamai. |
Sawadee is a great booking service, prompt and very easy, carefree and reliable way to book in accommodation in Thailand. |

Pavilion Samui Boutique Resort, Lamai Beach Best Hotel at Lamai Beach. We stayed in the Hydro Pool Villa. Everything was living up to our expectations. Hotel has a touch of class other Hotels are missing. If you are prepared to spend comparably much money you get coresppnding value. I can thouroughly recommend. |

Pavilion Samui Boutique Resort, Lamai Beach The hotel is fantastic, all the rooms look to be at a very high standard from what we could see, we were very lucky to get upgraded to one of the Grand Villa rooms, which was unbelievable! The spa facilities are expensive, but I think that is what you will find anywhere in a boutique hotel, but they were very good and well worth it, and as a resident you do get discounts. The only downside is the food, it is as other people have said, over priced relative to other food in the restaurants. We only tried the Thai food admittedly but it was very disappointing (why go to Thailand and eat western food?). Would have been ok to pay inflated prices if the food had been exceptional, but it was not. The breakfast was fine though, with lots to choose from. Summary, stay here, it is worth it, just eat out... |
All worked fine, no problems at all and all clear. |

Pavilion Samui Boutique Resort, Lamai Beach It is a great place at lamai beach, one of the best. Rooms are very nice but also very noise. I could even hear everything from our neighbours. Staf at restaurant and pool are very nice which i cannot say about reception staf and lady who took care of tours was very rude. We spoke with the general manager and he appologised for her behavour but she never spoke to us again. Dit also ask for newspaper every day, and receptionist said that it was not possible at Koh Samui, but the book shop at Lamai (100 meters) they sell it. Nice hotel but very bad service at reception. |

Pavilion Samui Boutique Resort, Lamai Beach BEAUTIFULL great staff! we stayed in the hydro pool villa, smaller than it looks on the net but it was still great, a nice treat to end a lovely trip. |
no problems, a great way to book |

Pavilion Samui Boutique Resort, Lamai Beach Very beautiful resort and great location, but was slightly dissapointed. We paid so much money and had very high expectations, but the place didn t seem to live up to the photos. With the money we paid, you can definitely find something a lot nicer on koh samui. nevertheless, the pavillion was very dream-like for the most part and, ofcourse very clean. there was a walkway connected to the beach and the staff were all very friendly. there was a huge dead chocoroach in my roo though :( if you are willing to spend $300+ on a room, it might be better to browse a bit more. |
great! |

Pavilion Samui Boutique Resort, Lamai Beach this hotel was designed beautifully, it was beautiful and thought the location was perfect. However, it seems that on the first day my shoes left on the balcony was completly wet when arriving back from dinner as if someone had thrown them in the spa.. also the room was unlocked we just put it down to the staff forgetting to lock it as nothing was taken. Makes you a little worried. Shower here was the worst shower i had while staying in Thailand. It was either burning me or cold. no middle. we hated it. Everyday we would have to switch the handle from the cold to the hot and the hot to the cold continually just to get a medium. argh. makes me kinda mad after i paid such a high price for the roomm. Oh well you live and learn. |
sawadee awesome as always! |

Pavilion Samui Boutique Resort, Lamai Beach we stayed in the beach from Grand Beach Villa which was just so beautiful. We swam in our private pool and loved our well appointed room. The staff at the resort were the most friendly and helpful people. We had our 1 year old baby and he was made to feel really, really welcome. A beautiful place to stay. |
excellent. no problems, excellent and prompt communication at all times. |

Pavilion Samui Boutique Resort, Lamai Beach I really like the location and resort. I have been for two long weekends now from Singapore where I am working and am looking to go back again. It s quiet with it s own beach, friendly staff, great food you have to try the Samui Dream Cocktail. So delicious. It s a short walk from the main street so shopping or some nightlife is not a problem. But to collapse in a heap on a break form work with the sea so warm, relaxing sun loungers, pool and waiter service what more could you ask for? The beds are very comfortable and even an ipod docking station in the jnr suite I stayed in.... Compared to elsewhere I stayed on the island this is very good - nice feel to the place and not bitten alive by mosquitos..... Much prefer Lamai to Chaweng and Pavillion is my personal fave. |
Booking service is good - just book in advance |

Pavilion Samui Boutique Resort, Lamai Beach This is an outstanding Hotel in a truely world class setting on the southern beach of Koh Samui at Lamai, which is the quieter side of the island, ideal for Romantic couples of families who do not what the busier nightlife of Chaweng. Lamai is a much better beach then Chaweng and less growded, and there are plenty of bars and restaurants a few minutes walk from the Hotel. I was greeted at the airport by the Hotels representative and driven to the Hotel in an air conditioned car, the check in was simple and my room was outstanding. I was actually upgraded free of charge and the facilities (air con, plasma tv, dvd player, huge 4 poster bed, my own courtyard with a jacuzzi pool) were excellent. The location of the Hotel on the each and the facilities really make this a great place, the views in the day are good, but it is sunset at the Look Out Bar that is worth staying alone for, try siping your favourite drink whilst watching the sunset and it will be one of the best memories you take away from thailand with you. The staff were very helpful and friendly and although this is not the least expesnive Hotel that you will find in Lamai or Samui, it is in my opinion the best. |
The service is great and very easy to use, they also keep in touch via email and respond very quickly and I have used them many times for booking in Thailand.
I can recommend them to anyone. |

Pavilion Samui Boutique Resort, Lamai Beach Good Service.Very helpful front desk staff(especially ARCH). Although resort under renovation and was pretty dusty.housekeeper always ensured room was well clean.Alittle feedback will be that, pool side staff may like to offer guest beach towels on site(instead of carrying from room) and cold towels to guest during the late afternoon(as many other 5*resort does that). We like to thank you for wonderful holiday. |
Very efficient, helpful and safe.Thank you PLOY for your help.GOD BLESS |

Our stay in this hotel was great. the resort is beautiful and will be for sure more when renovation plan will be finished. Staff is kind and helpfull, location is great, direct access to the beach, quiet and very close to center of Lamai. The restaurant is not so good, food is average because to international. But you can find very good thai restaurants around much better and cheaper. |
parfait, perfect |

Pavilion Samui Boutique Resort, Lamai Beach It is a beautiful resort. The staff were friendly & helpful. The resort is situated right on Lamai Beach and the restaurant & pool are great too! We stayed in a superior spa room which was clean & modern. We didnt hear any loud music playing at night though. The location was ok. It is about a 15 min drive to Chaweng beach by taxi. Overall, very happy with the resort. |
Great, no problems (and I ve used Sawadee.com a few times) |

Pavilion Samui Boutique Resort, Lamai Beach The deluxe bungalow on the beach was very nice, but the air conditionning was to noisy and the bar of the resort next to the Pavilion was playing music every night. Otherwise the resort is beautiful and the restaurant was very good. |
