Mark Willetts 2007-06-04 until 2007-06-17	Samui Natien Resort, Chaweng Beach Hotel staff were amazing. Very good high level of service all round. Cleanliness of room, facilities and staff was very high. I was on my first trip abroad alone and was made to feel most welcome at all times. I will be more than happy to stay there again which i intend to do in December this year. Food selection was varied enough to cover most requirements and not once did the food cause me problems. All food was nicely presented and of good quality. If you stay here and need something just ask and they will help you out. I stayed in a basic room which was more than adequate. Enjoy your visit as i have no concerns in returning.	Easy and simple to use and will do so again when returning. No problems.
Catharina Eklöf 2007-03-03 until 2007-03-11	Samui Natien Resort, Chaweng Beach My family only stayed 2 nigths of 8 booked. The bungalow was injured by damp and mould. Talked to a Danish couple staying on the ground floor in the mainbuilding. Same there. Staff at reception impertinent, breakfast and food not very good. Very small pool.Small bungalow and narrow and dark between houses/mainbuilding. We fled back to our first hotel in the north of Koh Samui, leaving the deposit. CHOOSE ANOTHER HOTEL! Chaweng beach was very touristic and Koh Samui too. Not a spot without for sale / for rent north of Chaweng and of course Time Share hunting .. Different attitude from salesmen/taxidrivers and high prices compared to Phuket. Will not come back to Koh Samui. We have booked new trip next year to Bangkok, Koh Chang/Vietnam..	Excellent! When looking for rooms to go back to our previous hotel it was cheaper to book by Sawadee.com than personal at the receptiondesk at the same hotel and very easy. Booked both hotels by Sawadee.com. initially. Will do so for our Thailand trip this Christmas also!
Daljit Bains 2007-01-02 until 2007-01-07	Samui Natien Resort, Chaweng Beach Great hotel with a good location on the chaweng beach. Room was cleaned every day with new sheets and towels. Negatives: (a few) 1. pool to small for adults,perfect for kids. 2. room key activates the A/c without it the a/c shuts down. A pain when you want to keep the room cool. 3. Breakfast really good but gets boring after a while. 4. I always felt the staff mistrust me, maybe people in the past might have left without paying. Or I was paranoid. Tip: Dont loose your key, it costs 1,500 bhat to replace and change the locks. best leave it with front desk. I checked out the other hotels and yes you can find more impressive hotels on the beach front, but they cost a lot more. Samui Natien was a great hotel, with nice staff. I felt safe and secure whilst I was staying. I have already recommended the hotel to friends. ps. I nother thing i noticed the other guests tended to be couples and family units. who kept to themsulves. I like to meet new people, this was difficult here. BUt fear not you will meet other people when you go down chaweng beach and road. Have fun and enjoy! All staff from gardeners, security, waiters. receptionists were very welcoming and provided pleasant service. A few friends who visited me at the hotel took hotel cards with a view to styaing there next time as they enjoyed its qualities more that their respective accomodations. It definitely gets the thumbs up from me.	Very Good..as always. Any problems are quickly remedied, thank you

Kenneth Murphy 2006-07-12 until 2006-07-18	Samui Natien Resort, Chaweng Beach The Samui Natien is a very reasonably price mid-level resort. Our room on the 4th floor was clean, quiet, the AC worked very well as we had a good view of the ocean even though we were one of the furthest rooms back from the beach. The employees of the resort are very kind and responsive to your needs. The breakfast was fine (my girlfriend didn t like it as much). The bed was a bit hard for us. Also, the beach is nicer for swimming in the ocean a little further to the south. Finally, I couldn t get my computer to log in to the wireless network and there was no one who could assist me. Overall though we had a positive experience at the Samui Natien on our first trip to Samui. I recommend it especially for cost conscious families.	Sawadee.com works very well. It would be nice to improve the resort search capabilities given that there are so many choices to pick from.

Convenience; short ride from airport to North Chawang, resort entrance just steps off Chawang Beach strip with shops and tourist traps, and only a golf-swing distance to chaotic nightlife... Economy; mid-range prices for resort sandwitched between high-end joints. (The 4-nights-for-the-price-of-3 discount was a pleasant surprise, thank you Natien/Sawadee.) ... Family friendly (joiner-fee applies). Small pool. Adequate restaurant with decent, compliamentary breakfast... I stayed in delux room in main building (not in bungalow) offering clean room/bathroom, ample size (even with king bed), v.small patio, and minimal furnishings. Quiet, breezy and very relaxing. Good value for the money. No surprises, everything as expected (what a relief after hearing about/seeing some real dumps just down the street). Will return w/o hesitation.	convenient, accurate, prompt... good job. Thanks for the discount. i ll use your service again.
Tommi Ravaska 2006-05-25 until 2006-06-05	Samui Natien Resort, Chaweng Beach This is a very nice place to stay, especially with children. The atmosphere in the resort is cosy, relaxed and friendly. The surroundings and the pool area are very clean. The bungalows are clean and well maintained. We stayed in the Natien Suite, by the pool, with a seaview, in our opinion the best bungalow within the resort. However, their best resource is the staff. They deserve to get the greatest notification. The receptionists, the guards, cleaning ladies, maintenance personel, pool guy, and last but not least; all the staff in the restaurant. They all do a wonderful job to make your stay the best possible, with a smile on their face. The only drawback we noticed, was that when it is low water, the lagoon is not very inviting for swimming and bathing. If you don t mind a walk, up to the northest part of the beach, you will find some very nice beaches. The other thing was a minor invasion of an american group of guests in their 30 s. They took possession of the pool area, effectively blocking obvious passages with sunchairs, ignoring the presence of other guests and also signs written in english about bringing food and drinks into the pool area. You can t do much about that, I feel sorry for the staff having to cope with them. We were lucky enough to leave the very same evening. To conclude, we would like to give our best recommendations for this resort within the given price range. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you. Tommi & Marie	Very good. Quick response. Mrs N O REILLY 2006-04-29 until 2006-05-07	Samui Natien Resort, Chaweng Beach As per 5 years ago, the Natien is a lovely place to stay, very good rooms, friendly and helpful staff. The only disappointment is the breakfasts, which could be better. Check out the Barracuda,or even the Ark Bar, for a good breakfast. That said, for our next visit we again will stay at the Natien, as in every other way it could not be better.	Fast, efficient and reliable.

Sunniva Johannessen 2006-02-17 until 2006-02-20	Samui Natien Resort, Chaweng Beach FULLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO STAY!! Very friendly staff, always smiling and laughing. We stayed in to different kind of rooms; both the villa and the standard room - pricewise you should think the bungalows were nicer than the rooms in the main building but we felt the opposite. I think the bungalows are older and therefore poorer quality. (Always clean though!) If you want to stay here I would go for a room in the main building. Excellent place to stay if you re on holiday to relax! ENJOY!	A very efficient web site!

The rooms were very clean and have been made up by the roommakers every day - also when we got out of bed at 3pm!! THe staff was very friendly and the also the beach was nice to swim at! THanks again to the staff of the Samui Natien Resort, we will come back of course!!!	Very fast, uncomplicated and secure!

We had an awesome beachfront villa which was nestled between the pool, the restaurant and the beach. The view from our deck was great, the service was wonderful and we were pleased with how well maintained our villa was as well as the pool and beachfront. It was quiet at night- if we wanted the party scene, all we had to do was go for a 5 min. walk. The swimming was okay at the Natien but it was nicer 5 min. away. Also, the restaurant meals were just okay- but there were many other restaurants to choose from just a 1 min. walk in either direction. We would definitely stay at the Samui Natien again.	We were very pleased with the service we received from Sawadee.
John McIntosh 2005-06-21 until 2005-07-03	Samui Natien Resort, Chaweng Beach The Samui Natien Resort was absolutely superb. The staff were friendly, helpful, courteous and service was excellent. We stayed in a deluxe room which had great view of the ocean. rooms were very tidy and were cleaned every day with fresh linen and towels. Restraunt food was very nice as well but there were better restraunts outwith the hotel butmuch more expensive. One downside to the hotel was although situated close enough to the bars it did not have a very good beach location as the water sports and other activities were further down the beach where the sea was much better. I enjoyed my stay here and woould recommend it to anyone looking for a cheaper hotel with all the facilities of a dearer. Quite a quiet small resort as bar closes at 11.00 pm so no noise around pool/bar area. Very relaxing and peaceful holiday. Would highly recommend .	Very professional and would recommend.

The food was very good, and the personnel was very nice, helpful and service minded. If we come back to Koh Samui, we certainly want to stay at the same hotel. James brackett 2005-01-24 until 2005-01-29	Samui Natien Resort, Chaweng Beach Wer stayed in the Natien for 4 nights in January. Hotel was booked solid and we tried to upgrade room but could not. The hotel is OK. First the pros: It is a decent location on the end of Chaweng beach. The water there is calmer than in the other end and suitable for swiming. The location is close enough to the center of town for anything. The rooms are clean and the hotel is safe. A safety deposit box is provided but you must provide the lock. Cons: The room was small and drab. The shower would oscillate in temperature. The beach front was packed and if you showed up after 10PM very hard to find a chair. This is a pretty small place with little open area. It is a hotel not a resort. Overall, while this hotel is probably a fair deal for the price, I will spend more next time and stay at a larger facility.	Good service. Some delays as we rebooked lots of stuff after the tsunami but they got it done and honored all our prepaid even the cancelled ones in Phuket.

The rooms are clean and a good value. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It is located just a the end of downtown with just a short walk to go shopping etc. I would definetly stay here again.	Placing the reservation over the internet was painless. I even had to change my reservations due to an extended business trip with no problems.

We had a deluxe room on the 2nd floor and the balcony was in the tree tops and the views were stunning. Watching the sun rising over the sea from your bed has got to be paradise! The staff were charming, the breakfast varied and good, and the position on the edge of the action was perfect, with lots of beach bars and shops just minutes walk away. The only disappointment was the quality of the sea on Koh Sumui, which was no good for snorkelling unless one went on a boat trip.	Excellent
