Masciali Gabriele 2009-06-12	Montien House, Chaweng Beach Great location in Koh Samui. The hotel is nice and perfect for a relaxing holiday. Moreover, it is close to that lively area placed on the beach becoming pure fun at nighttime. Clean room, very good service. We will come back (soon I hope!)	Excellent! I had problem tied to my credit card and they even gave me a mobile phone to contact in order to scan the situation in every moment, so that to be sure to fix the situation.
Margaret Rigley 2009-06-10	Montien House, Chaweng Beach Hotel was only average,we booked 2 bungalows, one had no flushing toilet and a very bad smell in the bathroom (if you would call it that). The air conditioning was nt working properly either.The doors could have done with a good paint,overall it was of a poor standard and i was very dissappointed on arrival. I wouldnt recommend this hotel and would say its only 2** quality.I wont stay there again.	Booking service was first class booked taxi was waiting for us when we arrived

Restaurangen är superb, en av Chawengs bästa! Ska man vara lite kritisk så är det avsaknaden av barndel/barnpool och att frukosten kunde vara lite mer varierad. Kan varmt rekomendera Montien House! Extra plus till Singh och Key för extraordinär service.	Fungerar bra, som föväntat.
Renaat Cassauwers 2009-05-30	Montien House, Chaweng Beach Nice garden and good location. Swimming in the ocean is not posible because of the low sealevel and lots of coral. Swimmingpool is small buth nice. Good for shilderen.	Booking from internet was OK.
Robert Wood 2009-05-23	Montien House, Chaweng Beach One of the best in the area & I ve stayed at several. Good location, just far enough away from noisy areas for this not to be a problem. Our superior room was comfortable though showing its age a bit. The outside balcony was nice with its own little path leading up to it. You aren t staying in a kind of corridor as you are with several places in the area. The gardens are lush & well kept & the breakfast buffet good. The restaurant & swimming pool areas are lovely. Staff were unobtrusive to a point that could appear rude to some. On the downside, the water heater didn t produce enough properly hot water & the free wi-fi in the restaurant didn t work as the Internet was down. Overall a comfortable place with character. Recommended.	The transport provider should be on time to meet people from flights! Ours wasn t, keeping us hanging around 15 minutes or so wondering whether he would turn up. Fortunately he did. Things were otherwise fine.

The sunrise suite is direct at the beach, which means that it s noisy till 2 o clock in the night, with children not good. Koh Samui changed so much the last 3 years. The beach is dirty, it has to many jetskis, speadboats... To much tourism. I don t come back again.	Fast and ok.
Au Yee Yin 2009-04-19	Montien House, Chaweng Beach It s a great hotel for the budget conscious customers. The room and bathroom are clean and fair. The restaurant and the pool is great also. But because it s right in the center of the downtown area, you might hear the music from the bars outside at night. I heard them both nights, but if you turn on the AC, you really cant hear it. But the staff couldn t be more helpful; overall, we had a wonderful stay.	We book through Sawadee.com, and it s so easy and efficient. Will definitely recommend it to anyone.

Cleaning is superb. We are back two weeks now, but we have already booked for december!	Sawadee again fast and good.
Anna and Christer Månsén 2009-03-29	Montien House, Chaweng Beach Our Bungalow was perfect, everything worked out better than expected. Service and personel , super. Location, can´t be better. When we sat on our wranda , it was like being in a jungle, birds singing, butterflies. and the sund of Gecko lizards, super. Still we were only 150 meters from the shopping street, but the pool and the beach was only 15 meter away. Perfect location . Free wireless inernet was an extra bonus. We will be Back! C. Kelly 2009-03-27	Montien House, Chaweng Beach The location was great -- right next to that beautiful sand on Chaweng Beach. Even thought there was a Black Moon Party going on during one of the nights that we were there, we really didn t hear it, even though the hotel is REALLY close to the centre of the action on the beach. Some guests said that they were kept up, but it didn t bother us... Our room was great and the house-keeping was spot on. The water in the bathroom did smell a bit like sulphur, but this could be normal for Samui. I have found this smell frequently in some places in Thailand and Vietnam. Not sure if the room was worth the price, but Samui is pretty expensive these days, and I hear that this is one of the better value places on Chaweng Beach. Reception was helpful for the most part, but pretty casual... Everything worked out in the end, but we weren t sure if it would until it did. The breakfast buffet was pretty good, and I say this only since we are both vegetarians -- if you re a carnivore, there s a lot to eat. There is a good omelette bar though. The grounds are pretty, and most of the rooms have nice covered sitting areas to watch the rain from. Our s had a leak though! All in all I d go back to Montien if I were to stay in Chaweng - very central and laid back.	No flaws. I was skeptical at first, but it all worked out -- from the reservation to the confirmation to the airport pickup service -- it was all great! We would use Sawadee again for our next trip to Thailand. Thanks! Too bad we can t book flights through you. It was also nice to have a welcome home and request for feedback -- a change from companies who don t care.
NADEZDA MOVSHOVICH 2009-03-26	Montien House, Chaweng Beach We spent two weeks in March in this hotel! Liked it from the first glance! Very green,its bushes just fantastic! Very nice location - just in the center of Chaweng! But at the same time a bit aside, so we did not hear the noise from the street, except fireworks and disco every Sat and Wed. We lived in standard rooms 209 and 213 - bathroom in 213 was a bit smelly though. beach is ok, very good for children as it is not deep at all, I would only maybe recommend to clean it more often and there were plastic bags etc in the sea. If you go 200 m you can swim in waves! Breakfast was good, and I can say we enjoyed our staying very very much and would definitely come again!!!!	very prompt and smooth! excellent!
Joe from Australia 2009-03-12	Montien House, Chaweng Beach Montein House was a big suprise to my wife and I. It had a great pool on the beach and beautiful gardens. The Garden rooms were very standard but clean and acceptable for the price. We had one of the best 5 star thai dinners on the beach and would recommend this to anyone staying in Chaweng. We used Montein House for a one night stay as a stepping stone to get to Koh Tao. It out performed it s purpose and i would recomend Montein to anyone.

Neil Richard Davies/Suthika Nuna Buakaew 2009-03-02	Montien House, Chaweng Beach Montien House is a centrally located, mid range resort close to the beach with good standard rooms.However,at BT2300 for Superior bungalow its a little expensive as well as 10% service charge and 7% VAT on all food at the restaurant.Biggest negative is that there is a hardcore of return guests who ve been here for a number of years who seem to think they have their own personal sunbed which no-one can use.Also many Scandanavians who seem to holiday in packs of 8-10 people who put towels on the sunbeds at first light,6-30am on both pool and beach which makes it impossible to get a sunbed after 8am.Its even more frustrating because they only use them for about 10% of the day so towels on beds but no people!The other big negative is that they have a beach party rave every Wednesday and Saturday night next to Montien House which is so loud that it vibrates the windows in the bungalow until at least 2am!Apart from that perfect!!!

nigel ryding 2009-02-17	Montien House, Chaweng Beach Just spent to glorious weeks at Montien in a deluxe room, it was great. Although I would have preferred a bungalow they where booked out. The room was nice, the room cleaned brilliantly daily, fresh sheets, towels. The staff are all happy friendly and helpful. The location is great for the beach and you are right in chewang central, close to legendary Ark Bar and Islander. The thing is if want a good nights sleep you will get one, and i m a light sleeper. Only thing is you need to get up early if you want a prime sunbed...but there is aways a nice deck chair or patch of beach right out front. See you in August!
Ulla and Staffan Ahlbäck 2009-02-14	Montien House, Chaweng Beach This hotel is situated ap. at the middle of Chaweng beach. There was no problem with the bungalow and the cleaning and the staff was friendly and helpful.The only negative thing I would like to say is the breakfast. It was good but they did not fill up directly when the plates were empty. With a lot of families visting the hotel the breakfast was a bit noicy. It didn´t matter for me but for someone who wants queit it would be a problem.	Very good and quick.
Carol Stewart 2009-02-13	Montien House, Chaweng Beach Very beautiful setting - the gardens and pathways, and the reception and restaurant on the beach. Rooms were fairly good, but there are 2 major criticisms: 1. It seems that only twin rooms are available, no double beds (we booked a double room and landed up with 2 twins) 2. The bathroom drains and water STINK!!! We had seen this on other reveiws, and can confirm it. Something really needs to be done about this Other than that, staff were helpful and friendly, breakfasts were fine, and service levels seem to be good	As with all other bookings, everything went extremely smoothly!

Peter Husband 2009-02-06	Montien House, Chaweng Beach A hit & miss with Montien. Positives: Excellent location! close to shopping and main strip of food and entertainment. Room was very spacious. Booked a standard and it was sufficient. Food was good. Beach was excellent. Breakfast and service not bad. Negatives: Not enough sun chairs/umbrellas..had to wake up early to reserve one only to find the good ones already taken! At night, fireworks constantly went off every 10 minutes combined with the loud techno music of nearby resorts. Didn t bother me and my husband much as we re the partying type, but can see that it would be a nuisance for those who want some RnR. Overall, not bad...but I would look elsewhere next time.	Excellent!

You can walk to the beach through a beautiful garden and relax near the pool or sea and at night you can walk into Chaweng City (2 minutes walk) and dance at a club till morning. Hotel s restaurant was great but if you like italian food there s a small italian restaurant just outside of the hotel and it was nice. The stuff was great and very helpful. I ll be there next year.	No problem great site.

Тайцы очень порядочный народ, я так делаю уже не первый раз, и ни разу никаких проколов.Отель замечательный. Небольшой и в тоже время уютный и гостепреимный. Я отдыхал в номере с бассейном №304. Номер чудесный, своя маленькая закрытая территория, на которой есть маленький бассейн. Завтраки сытные и разнообразные, если носом не ворочить -голодным не останешься. В отеле в основном останавливаются немцы, французы, англичане. Из русских мы были одни - если для кого это имеет значение. Собственный пляж небольшой, но всем хватает лежаков и зонтов. Вода замечательная, в полнолуние немного выше обычного уровня, но плавать до кораллового рифа можно практически целый день (смотри карту кораллового рифа), ближе к аэропорту по побережью с водой просто беда, во время отлива очень мелко, но это тоже решаемо - просто идешь подальше направо по берегу от отеля и выбираешь то, что душе угодно... Отдых удался в целом. Для молодежи есть огромный плюс - в двух шагах от отеля имеется дискотека (Big Bamboo), дискотека длится до двух ночи, кому танцевать, а кому не спать... Русских телевизионных программ нет, бери с собой или на месте напрокат DVD-плеер и диски с собой. И крем от и после загара обязательно!!! Кушать можно везде и всюду, бояться нечего, ходите, смотрите цены и заказывайте. В магазинах 7 Eleven можно купить все, что угодно, работают круглосуточно. И главное везде торгуйтесь, скидку в 50% получить элементарно! Тайланд - очень хорошая, дружелюбная страна, из островов можно смело выбирать Самуи и Краби. Успехов и удачи!
Malin da Silva 2009-01-09	Montien House, Chaweng Beach montien house ligger väldigt centralt på chaweng stranden. Vi hade allt man kunde önska sig direkt utanför. Ändå stördes vi inte av trafik eller komers. Mycket fin innerträdgård. Bungalowsen var väldigt hemtrevliga med en egen mysig veranda.personalen supertrevliga. Restaurangen har god mat och på kvällarna dukar de upp på stranden.mysfaktor 100!	som alltid 100 % !

We stayed in a Superior room which was quite roomy, clean, and very elegantly decorated. The restaurant was one of the most popular on the beach for beachfront dining. The location is great for being near everything. It is a little loud at night from the bar next door but we had no problem sleeping through it. Also, the rooms with the private pools were right next to our rooms and are amazing. If we had the extra cash, we would stayed in one of those rooms and probably will in the future. We highly recommend this hotel for all types of travellers.	The booking service was also great. This was the second year in a row that we used this website and worked perfect both times.
Sam Gibb 2009-01-02	Montien House, Chaweng Beach The hotel was really nice and the staff put a lot of effort into the New Years banquet. Unfortunately we had to run off early to catch up with friends but the show that was beginning looked fantastic. The staff are friendly and helpful and the room was everything that we expected and more. It was quiet, clean and comfortable with a comfy bed and a nice lounger in the sun by the window. The mosquito net above the bed made me feel like a princess.	Good service, however the lack of flexibility in bookings could prove a problem if you need to make any changes to your arrangements.

kev 2008-11-21	Montien House, Chaweng Beach This is a great place to stay, swimming pool, bungalows, close enough to the main strip of Chaweng but just far enough away from the busier/noisier pubs,hotels if you want a peaceful stay. I have stayed here twice now and wouldnt want to stay anywhere else - very affordable, excellent service, friendly helpful staff, the food is also excellent and alot of visitors staying elsewhere frequently make trips to sample the Cuisine on offer at the Montien Restaurant	very easy! took a printed copy of my reservation to reception - no problems!

I booked a standard bungalow and was disappointed so immediately upgraded to a superior room in the main building which was very nice. The first night, my air conditioner was barely operating, but the management was extremely efficient in getting it repaired promptly the next day. The breakfast was typical, the pool was very nice, and the help was friendly. The location is really nice and very quiet at the end of a short soi and the hotel grounds are lovely. Free wireless is available in the beachfront lobby/restaurant. A five-minute walk has you in the middle of all the shopping, bars, discos and restaurants on the beach road. I had a great time here and will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Koh Samui.	Very good. I ve used Sawadee.com for all my hotel bookings in thailand over the last several years. Never a problem and always low prices and good service. I highly recommend Sawadee.com.

Very happy, so we booked there for our return trip through Samui.	Very fast communication and trouble free. Would use again.

LEE JAEHONG 2008-08-29	Montien House, Chaweng Beach The room was great! clean, spotless room and also good working frige & air-con. But some male crew was keep stared greedy at my lady friends(were in bikini. one of them is Model, by the way.) I stayed 5 days, and everyday it bothered me (they - some male crew - were always stared behind my freinds back, so fortunately it didn t bothered my ladies, and I didn t say it to them) I think some CREW-TEACHING is needed. Ecept that, everything was good. the sea infrot of the hotel, is kinda dirty and shallow anyway.	It deserve to this three word. Fast, Kind, and Detail.
JIANG Feng 2008-08-22	Montien House, Chaweng Beach A very familiar hotel! The stuffs are very nice. The dulexe room is OK, and facilities are enough for traveler. The garden is the most fascinating in all hotels around Chaweng beach! But my room is just behind the construction area, too many noise in day time.	very good

We stayed in the deluxe room, the room facilities were modern and it even had a bath. The room was quiet and dark which was great for sleeping!! The only problem was the pool where relaxing/reading was impossible due to all the kids splashing around enjoying their holidays!!!	my resevation request came back fast and the payment was secure.

Orkun Kara 2008-07-17 until 2008-07-19	Montien House, Chaweng Beach Initially booked for 2 nights thru sawasdee.com then extended another 6 nights at the hotel, it was great value for the money,rooms have all the necessary amenities, clean and everyday housekeeping, the breakfast was great, also the thai food they serve at the restaurant was great,the only negative point is that, the sea in front of the hotel is very shallow so you cant swim, we had to walk down the beach 100 meters everyday to swim, but not a big problem.	fast easy simple
