gret location, center - good part of beach for kids, great walking distance in chaweng. very friendly staff and good organised from checkin till check out - back there at anytime ;-)

About the hotel:
The hotel was great and right in the middle of all the action on chewang. The breakfast was good and all that would be expected of a thai hotel trying to cook an american breakfast but the eggs were individually cooked for you and there was juice, good coffee and cereal (what more do you need). We stayed in a standard A room 9 (room A1 to be precise) and it was fantastic very clean and linen and towls changed everday as well as towels provided for the beach. The bathroom is well used and could do with re grouting here and there but you only spend 10 minutes in the bathroom so who cares. Massage on the beach great and there are a number of massures who are very friendly and just at the bootom of the steps to Malibu. Deck chairs around the pool and on the beach easily enough for everyone. Overall very good especially for the price the location

About the hotel:
I had stayed in Malibu beach resort for 10 days and my experience was good...The staff was very friendly...The first day when we ordered room service the food was very bad we had ordered a chicken burger and the patty was very hard it looked as if i am eating a plastic patty and the salad was very bad it was very soggy full of dressing and the french fries were very oily...We were very scared to eat at the hotel s restraunt but we ate a club sandwich and I think the restraunt had better food than the room service...The cleaning service was not good they never sweeped the floor and there was sand and dust in the room and never changed the towels but folded the same towels again and kept it...They allowed outsiders to use the beach chairs and the pool as long as they ate at the restraunt.There were very less umbrellas and most of them were broken so they should get more umbrellas...The breakfast was okay.It was the same breakfast everyday and it became boring eating the same thing again and again.The room was nice but they should improve their cleanliness.My experience overall was good and the staff was very friendly and helpful.The location was very central.

nice smal beach hotel. room A was very smal but nice. we had tea/coffee cooking facilities and mini bar. only the bath room was very old - it was cleaned but doesn´t look so.

About the hotel:
Location in relation to chewang beach is excellent with everything within easy reach by a short walk. Room was fine with only slight issue with below par/standard of air con in room and wethered look/feel of some of the windows in bathroom. They are being damaged by the water in shower and need to be replaced or bathroom slightly redesigned. Staff were very friendly, especially the cleaning and service personnel. Pool large enough for gentle swimming and option of the sea there as well. No problem catering for us as family and other guests in hotel seemed as happy with service as well.

About the hotel:
The price of the night in this hotel doesn t guarantee the cleanliness and the charm of this resort! The bathroom is not clean (very old, need more maintenance), the plumbing is not fixed ! The worst resort we knew during our trip (we were in 6 resorts during our stay in Thailand)

The booking is always ver quickly, sometimes we waited only 10 minutes and the confirmation mail arrived!

About the hotel:
The Malibu is definitively an amazing place to stay in Samui. Me and my husband had the greatest relaxing 1 week time ever in our life there. Location cannot be better on the Chawen beach, very close with 1 minute walk to the main street with shopping and night entertainment, without expected noise! on the beach front, with transats, nice swiming pool, confortable, nicely decorated and clean room (even standard) with our intimity, and most of all the nicest staff for servicing, especially at the hotel s beach restaurant and bar, what else: delicious food Thai and European and also fresh sea food all day at reasonable price (not cheap and not expensive, like everywhere basically) plus a breakfast buffet until 11am. Everything you need it there. I will be back there for sure and warmly recommend it to families, both young and old couples, friend teams, but not to high-society people as it may look too simple and not that luxurious.

Great service for the booking and payment but problem or no understanding of the promotion for 5 nights booked, you get 1 more free ! Since I booked for 6 nights, I paid for 6 nights! and I would expect 1 night discount!! not seen
