Bo Stamhagen 2009-06-23	Lamai Inn 99, Lamai Beach Stayed 6 nights at Lamai Inn 99. First night in a 2-part-bungalow . Those rooms were very small. We managed to transfer to a huge family apartment, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. That was really good. Nice beach, nice restaurant. Will come back.	Worked without any problem.

Geraeusch-empfindliche sollten besser einen Bungalow mieten oder auf einen ruhigen Nachbarn hoffen. 1 Minute zum Strand und 5 Minuten Fussweg zur Strasse mit vielen Restaurants, Shops und Bars.	schnell und zuverlaessig, keine Probleme

Good restaurant, nice and pleasant staff. One remark on reception staff, which could be more friendly (needs a lot of effort to make them smile). To be recommended.	Reservation works fine; negative point; we received twice a wrong (too cheap) quote (for rooms and airport shuttle), on which they had to come back and correct them.

Anders Ola Gustafsson 2009-04-22	Lamai Inn 99, Lamai Beach I stayed for 3 weeks and I can say I had a very pleasant time in Lamai Inn 99 . Good food in the restaurant , serviceminded and nice staff and the hotell is placed central and close to the beach and Lamai road ,if I go back to Lamai it will be at this very good hotell again.	Very good and fast and every thing was easy to use on the site , I m using it for booking next time I go to Thailand.
Guido Salmon 2009-04-14	Lamai Inn 99, Lamai Beach We had 17 nights (28.03 - 14.04.)in a Garden Villa. The bungalow was quite new, very clean and comfortable. The location, right in centre of Lamai beach, is excellent. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There is a large beachfront belonging to the resort. Its just a minute walk to all the bars, pubs and restaurants. At nighttime it is very qiet. Perfect location.

The restaurant was open until 7 PM and a good value. Mainly used for breakfast and lunch. Quiet location. Booking trips and onward travel was easy because of an office on premises. I would like to see free wifi internet availability	No problem. All information including deposit and reservation number had been forwarded to the inn.

Mark R Groves 2009-03-04	Lamai Inn 99, Lamai Beach This is the third time I have stayed at this hotel. This time we had a beach view apartment. The location was excellent, you couldn t get closer to the beach. The accommodation (room) was tired and in need of updating. Having stayed at the Lamai Inn 99 before and stayed in other rooms I know they are more modern than the Sea view Room we had. One other point you may be interested, none of the rooms I have stayed in at the Lamai Inn 99 have wardrobes. Don t expect draws and cupboards to put your clothes in! Having said that, the location was, as I said, excellent. The staff that clean the rooms are very friendly and love to teach you a bit of Thai . Bedding and towels changed every day. Flowers left to brighten up the room and balcony. Reception was hassle free. I will stay at the Lamai Inn 99 again if and when I return to Lamai.	The booking service could not be faulted. Good communications, no problem with paying by credit card, no issues. I will use them again.

Beng 2009-01-23	Lamai Inn 99, Lamai Beach Hotel was nice and clean but way too close to a very noisy bar. Had to use earplugs to be able to sleep. Receptionists did not understand english very well so I suggest to order trips / cars from elsewhere. Lamai beach not the cleanest of beaches in Samui Island. But instead the hotel pool was excellent!	Booking was simple and excellent. Will use again.
Richard J Tierney 2009-01-14	Lamai Inn 99, Lamai Beach The Lamai Inn is a pleasant place to stay. The garden view bungalows do not have much of a view of a garden since there isn t any garden, but they are only a couple of minutes walk from the beach. The room is spartan but certainly adequate with air-con, TV, a frig, decent bathroom with a good shower and nice, hot water. The beach front bungalows really are right on the excellent beach and appear to be very nice, but of course cost much more. Hotel staff were uniformly friendly and helpful. The restaurant is OK, and there are several other choices for dining right next to the hotels. The souvenir shop, restaurant, beer bar strip that parallels the beach is about a 10-minute walk away. All in all, the Lamai Inn is a decent value.	Efficient and accurate booking service.

The staff are friendly, efficient and helpful. The manager (Sirodom) is excellent and nothing is too much trouble. This place is a gem and I have years of Thai visits for comparisson.	Efficient, courteous and friendly. Even when changing bookings and timings they make it so easy and a pleasure.

But the resort is not noisy. The old wooden bungalows now have been replaced with quite new concrete ones. Nice clean rooms, nothing to complain about. Garden very well maintained. Friendly staff. Highly reccomended.	Everything went well

John Covate 2008-12-17	Lamai Inn 99, Lamai Beach Thai Hospitality...NOT When I arrived the hotel front desk staff told me I didn t have a reservation. When I asked to use the internet to show them the email they told me I would have to buy internet time??? After the lady re-checked her book she found my reservation. She made no apology and then insisted that I show her I had made a deposit... I asked, Would you hold a room for me if I didn t pay a deposit? She said she wanted to See the paper . When I checked out the front desk staff (a different lady) told me I owed them for beers and water that were missing from my room. Not the case. I didn t drink any beer and I asked isn t the water free? They said, No, 20 baht. I did drink water and gave them 20 baht. The rooms in the pictures on the internet have been doctored. At least my sea view room was not as bright as the ones on the internet. And the bathroom is Thai style and not a modern bathroom. Overall an uncomfortable and disappointing experience.	The booking service was very easy, however there appears to be some disconnect between sawadee.com and this hotel.

Christopher Jones 2008-10-02	Lamai Inn 99, Lamai Beach There was nothing wrong with my stay,but I thought it was a private beach, but anyone can go on it.I paid 1500 Baht in Low season for a Seaview bungalow.Even though I enjoyed my stay there I would now not go for the Seaview room,I would Pay 900 Baht for the ordinary room,and walk 3 minutes to the Beach.The swimming pool was good,nice and clean.	No Problems.

Last time we were in the beach bungalow which looks like are now being renovated! We do not think the resturant is up to much unfortunately not very good value for money conpared with other resturants near by.	Booking service was great, We were really tied when we got there and they had out booking and room ready so we could walk right on in! They were all very polite and great service. I will tell others

LL 2008-08-05 until 2008-08-10	Lamai Inn 99, Lamai Beach We had a great time here- we stayed in a garden view villa that was spacious and clean. The room was cleaned daily. There was construction next to the hotel that was somewhat annoying but not too bad. The beach was beautiful- wide white sand and clear water. Lamai Inn 99 is definitely on the nicest part of Lamai Beach- the beach is not as nice further down. We enjoyed the thai massage on the beach at this hotel- the masseuses were very skilled and friendly. I would recommend this place to my friends!	Good service- no problems.

Lamai Inn 99 is in the centre, so close to restaurants/shops/hin ta, hin yai. The beach restaurants are nice in the evening. We had a garden villa and it was good for the price. The sheets, towels are changed every day and there is a good safe in the room! Would stay here again. There is security at the main entrance area to all the accommodation. Reception staff are always bickering with each other when you approach.	good

I had a small self contained bungalow which was spotlessly clean and kept that way every day. 40 metres to the beach and 2 minutes walk to all the action in the heart of Lamai. Yet it s tucked away and as such, very quiet at night. The management were extremely helpful at all times and prices for jeeps and bikes were on the money. I would recommend it unhesitatingly and will stay there again. Nick, Melbourne Australia.	Straight forward, no drama at all

Eigenes Restaurant, super Gerichte. Nachtleben mit Bars und Restaurants ) alles in der Nähe. Ein paar Typs von mir: zum Frühstücken zu Toms Backery (macht super Brötchen) und gegenüber ist Kokila Bar (auch Möglichkeiten zum trinken & essen) was aber besonders zu erwähnen ist ) Kino am Abend (beamer und LCD) aktuelle Kinofilme und ich hatte das Glück die Fussbal EM bei Kokila zu verfolgen ) SUPER. Summer Summarom ) ich bin sehr zufrieden mit meinem Aufenthalt in Lamai 99, übrigens Grüsse an das Team und sehr hübsche Putzfrauen die mein Zimmer jeden Tag sauber gemacht haben ) Danke, ich hoffe ich sehe bald alle wieder. Fred Davies 2008-05-18 until 2008-05-19	Lamai Inn 99, Lamai Beach I booked a room with lamai inn over the net because the pictures, prices, and reviews seemed great. Upon arriving though I was somewhat upset.. when booking there was an option for an extra bed; to therefore sleep 3 people. But infact the rooms were to small to put in an extra bed comfortably (big main bed) so i had to sleep on a matress on the floor. Now i blame this on sawadee, or mayb the resort, as there should be no option for an extra bed or triple room.. there is no room!! The counter staff werent the nicest in making my stay comfotable, I think they should have offered the extra bed at a lower cost...since it was a matress on the floor.. but declined the notion. After searching around lamai for a triple room and doing the pricing, we just decided to stay at lamai inn and get 2 rooms, as the benefits outweighed the little cost. We stayed in the standard rooms to the left side of the resort and they were very nice, and somewhat new. Huge king bed, clean, stocked minibar, etc. nicer than the string on the right side. The beach in front was kept clean and nice, had to use the beach chairs at the rest. next door though as none were supplied; but this was no bother as you only had to buy a drink and the staff there were very nice and cute. The difference between lamai and Chaw. beaches is that lamai gets deep right away, and the other you have to walk a ways to get depth. Chaw is better scenic wise, and busier. Depends what you like.. i seen many jellyfish in Chaw as well; to note. Try the snorkelling by grandfather rock, not bad if u can find clear waters, especially in the crevises around the rock (but be careful of the crustations u dont cut yourself)	should not be an option for an extra bed, no pick up service
