Hi Coral Cove Bungalow, Coral Cove Beach
Located beetwen chaweng and lamai I recommand this hotel for people without young kid, it s necessary to rent motorbike if you want to move easily, it s a quite place with a wonderful view on the sea you can appreciate taking your breakfast (which is include in the price). The rooms are clean, equiped with air conditionning and a fridge supply with fresh water every day. you can use the beach below the hotel but unfortunatly it s impossible to go for swimming due to the rocks. I don t regret my choice for this hotel and when I ll have to come back to koh samui I will probably choose again Hi Coral Cove Bungalow.

booking service was perfect and the answer for confirmation was quick

The hotels receptionist was so bad at english that it was almost impossible to ask any questions. No welcome or anything as we arrived. No beach, nice view though! Would not recommend.

Beautiful!

Hi Coral Cove Bungalow, Coral Cove Beach
The hotel environment is good, quite, has beautiful seaview. The room that I stayed is big, clean and comfortable. We booked double bed room but ended with 1 king size bed plus 1 single bed. From the room balcony, I could enjoy the nice seaview. The hotel staff are friendly but only with limited English speaking. Only the hotel owner could speak better English. The hotel is bit far from famous and happening Chaweng Beach. Don t ever think of walking to Chaweng Beach from this hotel. You should take a taxi (should be quite expensive) or rent a motorbike to get there.

Very convenience and responsive booking system.

The location of the bungalow is great with sea front view (right on the cliff). Resort staff service attitude is good ,very responsive and enthusiastic. However, vehicle rental and laundry service price is not competitive.

Booking response is quick.

Since it was the third time I stayed at Hi Coral Cove, in 1992, 1997 and now in 2006, the resort everything grows up better. The new swimming-pool ist very nice to relax.

Very fast booking ......excellent

Hi Coral Cove Bungalows, Coral Cove Beach
Lovely cabin on the beachfront with impressive views of sun and moon rise over the rocks and sea. Steep sloped site with plenty of stairs but that s why all cabins have a view. Beach is a bit rocky at low tide but very pleasant otherwise - might be a bit crowded at peak season but Lamai beach is very close. Helpful owner will happily arrange for scooter/jeep hire. In low season, restuarant doesn t appear to be open after breakfast but didn t matter as others were so close to walk to - also nice to be away from Chaweng and Lamai but still close enough (10 mins) by vehicle. Good value for money.

Excellent - no problems.

Hi Coral Cove Bungalows, Coral Cove Beach
We had booked two nights. Because of many reasons we decided to stay only one night. One thing was that we found the information about the hotel incorrect, for example there was no TV and no mini bar. In the hotel information they inform about: a magical underwater paradise… This was the main reason why we booked this place. The beach was OK, but it was very difficult to get into the water because of a lot of rocks, and some of them were sharp and slippery. We asked two different persons in the reception how to get into the water. None of them had been into the water themselves and had no ideas about how to get into it. They advertise the hotel as a magical underwater paradise and don’t know anything about it – strange… But the main reason to why we checked out earlier was because the room was unclean and filthy. It was a lot of dust on the floor, broken lamps (4 in our room), a lot of ants (about 40-50) and a big cockroach in the bed.

OK

Not a bad place to stay but then not the best place either for the money you pay. It s right on the water and has awesome views but there is only a coral/sand beach at high tide and the rocks are just below the surface. Breakfast is good. Rooms - very bare and need of a redo (the resort is more than 20 years old and the rooms haven t been touched in 10 years). Also there is NO TV in the room as stated on the website - not a big deal for us but still misleading. The staff are great however I m not a hugh fan of the owner/manager.

Good - your hotel gets booked and its hasle free. Just don t trust all the info on the site about the location of hotels or whats provided (probably something the hotels are misleading on rather than Sawadee).

If you want a break from a busy city lifestyle, this is it. I stayed in a double A/C bungalow with a lovely terrace which made a for great place to read a book and relax. The beach itself was rocky and at this time of the year not that great for swimming but still a great spot regardless. The family who runs this bungalow is very nice and friendly, too.

Very efficient, I booked the morning of my departure - without a single hick up.

Great service and clean bungalows. Jip the receptionist was very helpful and spoke great english. The hotel staff was very friendly. We had originally booked the cheaper Bungalow 1 but decided to upgrade to the Bungalow 2. Enjoyed waking up to the beautiful bay view each morning. After visiting Chaweng and Lamai we were thankful that we decided to stay at Coral Cove to avoid the hustle and bustle of all the tourists. Anytime we wanted to go out, we simply hopped on our motorcycle and drove 10 min to either Chaweng or Lamai. Would definitely stay here again.

Booking on sawadee.com was very fast and convenient.

Far enough out of Chaweng and Lamai to be lovely and quiet but only a ten minute songthaew ride (about 50 baht)to either towns. Rooms basic but clean, fantastic views over the bay and private beach (but it s stony and rocky). Bit of a hike down the steps to the rooms but decent breakfast included in the room rate.

Hi Coral Cove Bungalows, Coral Cove Beach
If you re looking for a step up from the backpacker bungalows, but still an affordable place to stay, we recommend Hi Coral Cove. Perched on a cliff above the sea with outstanding views, it s even prettier than the pictures on the website. The first night our hot water shower started smoking, and we were told to use cold water until it could be fixed. We expected a patch job, but when we returned to our bungalow an entirely new shower had been installed. This is typical of the excellent service at Hi Coral Cove. The staff were friendly and helpful. Best of all, Hi Coral is away from the clatter of Chaweng and Lamai, but still only a 10 minute songthaew ride from either. The private beach is not really swimmable but is certainly beautiful. The breakfast included with the room price was fine- eggs, toast, coffee, fruit- and would cost 100 baht elsewhere on the island so it was a good deal. All in all, a great relaxing quiet place to stay...well worth it.

The booking service was excellent, with prompt responses from the bunglaows informing us whether they were available, and later confirmation e-mails. No problems checking in...a great website and a convenient service.

Hi Coral Cove Bungalows, Coral Cove Beach
We had a wonderfull visit at Hi Coral Cove. This is a beautiful resort, well maintained, inexpensive, and the staff are wonderfull. Loacted between the two major beaches, it is easy to get a ride either way. There are several restaurants within walking distance and rock climbing across the street. Hi Coral provides breakfast with a wonderfull view. If we ever return to Koh Samui. This is our place.

Nice quiet place to relax and have a break out of stessing life. For people who need only 1 to 2 star level on vaccation this place is very nice situatit between the tourist-spots Chaweng and Lamai on Ko Samui.

The bungalow was just by the water on the private beach. Calm and nice and ok standard at the room. Unfortunately our aircondition did not work during our stay but was fixed the very same day we left. We had good breakfast and some lunches, but regrettably the restaurant did not have open after 5 pm. Friendly staff and good service.

Remarkably smooth and efficient! I am really impressed!

Hi Coral Cove Bungalows, Coral Cove Beach
what can i say? the setting is magnificent. right on the beach with views to die for. we stayed in a bungalow right on the sand and free use of the snorkelling gear was just an invitation to spend hours face down with the fishes. breakfast was a set meal but extremely edible with fresh juice and fruit, eggs, toast & jam & coffee or tea. the bungalows are a bit the worse for wear but the people and the setting more than make up for a bit of age. there is one small down side: from our beach side bungalow it was a very long climb up to the reception and road level(100 steps & 4 steep paths). would we stay there again? perhaps not. if they could provide easier access to the rooms yes we would stay again

great. easy to use and all information required is readily available.
