Samui Sense Beach Resort, Lamai Beach the hotel is great staff very good, welcome drink and cool toewl upon arrive, room is prepare and aircond on before we come over so we feel good cool in the room. Beach is great and not too much of people, more quiter than chaweng. Have a very good sea site restorance and the price is ok too. Night life and restoreance, shop all very nearby in walking distance. Also 10 walk away have a small nightmarket selling all the local diner food, is cheap and very local teaste compare with ohter in lamai.Room picture as same as show in web site, i think even nicher. good resort and good location. |
i book all the hotel in thailand with sawadee.com. not need spend too much time on the compare price because i can say you will get cheapest rate ( 90% of it) than other agent/ web site |

Samui Sense Beach Resort, Lamai Beach Me and my husband spent 3 nights in Samui Sense Beach Resort in Thai Villa and were very pleased with everything. Helpful and friendly stuff, beautiful beach and hotel facilities. Lamai Beach area where hotel is situated is nice with a lot of small shops and restaurants but not too noisy. Will highly recommend this hotel |

Samui Sense Beach Resort, Lamai Beach We stayed 6 nights in a pool villa. The room was confortable however the bathroom definitely needs renovation. It was clean but the shower system a bit old and we often took a cold shower . We really liked the hotel, small, cosy good service and the breakfast was OK as well (however always the same). The restaurant at night is really nice with lights on the beach and the food is excellent ! Not expensive either. We moved hotel afterwards and realised that the price we payed for Samui sense is quite expensive and you can find rooms of better quality cheaper elsewhere. (we moved to Lamai Wanta). It would be nice to put big plants between the pool villa terraces to create some intimacy. |
smooth, no problems |

Samui Sense Beach Resort, Lamai Beach When we arrived to a rather drab reception area, we were given a very welcome cold towel and welcome drink before being shown to our room. As soon as we entered the building there was a strong smell of dampness and when we went into our ground floor room the smell was overwhelming. The room itself was lovely and (for once!) just as shown on the website. We unpacked, showered and went out to the pool. When we returned to the room a couple of hours later we decided to have a little sleep but found that the the bed and linens were really quite wet. Our clothes which had been hung up for just a short time also felt damp. We asked if we could be given another room and were shown to one on the next floor which appeared to be fine - no smell of damp. However, when we went to bed that night we found that the bed was very damp and although we had booked this hotel for 6 nights, after 2 we moved on to another hotel. It s such a shame as this could be a lovely hotel but they really need to sort out the dampness. I must add that the breakfast was very poor too. |
No problems at all with the booking, as always but were very slow responding to my email about changing to another hotel meaning we had to spend an extra night in a wet bed. |

Samui Sense Beach Resort, Lamai Beach Usually I don t complain about hotels because I tend to take things in stride. But I was very disappointed with this hotel. It wasn t even close to the pictures on line. Two things were decent - the beach and the cleaniness of the rooms. There are a lot of things that went wrong but I ll only go into detail about two. There was no hot water and they brought in a whole staff of people to our room for hours trying to fix the pipes. They said something had broken. After a while I finally asked to be moved to a different room. We walked back to our hotel late in the evening and there was no security and the gate was open. We finally found the security after we went to speak with the manager. Apparently the security was eating and left the gate opened and unattended. It doesn t sound like a big deal but when you spend a lot of money renting a motorbike, the last thing you want on your vacation is for it to be stolen. I would not recommend this hotel. And believe me I ve traveled the world and this is my first complaint about a hotel. |
no problems with the booking. |

Samui Sense Beach Resort, Lamai Beach The online Hotel room reservation from Germany, as well as our modifications and short term extention by telephone of our stay at the Hotel went just perfect - very competent, accurate, considerate and friendly personnel. The location kept a 100% what we were expecting of a dream holiday resort in Koh Samui (tastefully furnished, clean, spacious rooms in a tropical garden, directly on the most beautiful sand beach of Koh Samui (a lot better than Chaweng - we personally checked it out !!). It is defenitely our preferred place to stay in Koh Samui and we will defenitely return next year. We recommended the place to friends today, that are travelling in June and asked us to recommend a place! Although we had a short escape of 1 day (30. - 31.3)to a real gorgeous 5 Star Luxury Hotel, we returned after one night (despite we were booked 4 days !), because even the 5-Star hotel just couldn´t compete at all with the beautiful location of the Samui Sense Beach Resort. The cost/performance ratio is excellent. The restaurant on the beach, sitting on nicely set tables with harmonic candles and lights with view over the bay and the sea, while feeling the warm white sand under your feet, is wonderful holiday feeling pure. The menue has a delicious, well selected variety of food and surprisingly we had the best cocktails there within our total stay in all Thailand ! Congratulations to the Hotel and thanks for having turned our vacation into a dream holiday. |

Samui Sense Beach Resort, Lamai Beach Hotel was great. Friendly staff, and overall a wonderful stay. My only criticism is not of the hotel, but of the compulsory gala dinner that all hotels seem to expect you to pay. 4000 baht per person (about 60 pounds per head, not including wine) is very expensive, and I don t like being told what I have to do on Xmas or New Year s Eve. |
Good. |

Samui Sense Beach Resort, Lamai Beach I stayed in the superior room for a couple of nights in Jan 2007. Room was very small. Service was below average. Breakfast and restaurant didn t impress me either. The best thing about this hotel was its location. This hotel is overpriced and not recommended. |
Very Good. |

Samui Sense Beach Resort, Lamai Beach Nice resort with very friendly and helpfull stuff. We stayed 4 nights at the thai villa. The room was clean and comfortable (with a hairdryer and save). The villa had pretty much space (enough for two person). The room is a little bit dark, but I think it s normal for a thai style villa. The pool is nice and the beach is clean and quiet near (20 m away). The breakfast is ok (you can choose between continental-, american- and thai breakfast). We would give 7 of 10 possible points. |
The booking service was perfect. Very easy, very quick, very comfortable. We would choose sawadee ever again. |

Samui Sense Beach Resort, Lamai Beach Thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The staff of the Samui was excellent and very friendly. The rooms were clean and well maintained. Stayed in one of the Thai Villas and it was fine. I will stay here again if I get back to Samui. |
Booking service went smoothly - I encountered no problems at all. |

Galaxy Resort, Lamai Beach Great location, friendly helpful staff and good facilities. The pool was nice and the restaurant was adequate. The bathroom was not the best and the room a little dark but comfortable. On the whole a 7 out of 10. |
Excellent as always. |

Galaxy Resort, Lamai Beach The Galaxy Resort was in a perfect location for my needs, the staff very friendly and the room comfortable. BUT The hotel was in the middle of renovations to the main building, which we had not been informed about, so quite noisy during the day. The restaurant closed at 6pm every day although advertised till 11pm, but restaurants outside were very good. can really reccommend the Salatai as the food was superb. |
Absolutely first class and hassle free. I also seem to have received a better deal than others in the hotel who booked by other means. Thankyou |

Galaxy Resort, Lamai Beach A good choice that we made off the internet - not as large as some, but good facilities. Very quiet since the rooms are well away from the busy main street in Lamai. Nice pool and rooms. The restaurant food and staff attention were very good, and the setting right on the beach front was lovely at night. Our waiter Me was great. The beach was wider than at some locations further south. They are expanding and renovating part of the resort, but there was no problem from the construction. Front desk staff were very pleasant and helpful with tours, safe boxes, etc, The free email was a nice touch. We would definitely consider returning to this resort if we are back to Samui - but we will probably choose a more secluded island next visit. |
Worked well - we were expected when we arrived. |

Galaxy Resort, Lamai Beach Great beach location. The room are large but decor is very outdated and needs upgrade. No safe in room.I personally think it is very over priced for 2300 B. Saw a property (Marina Bunglows) right next door, brand new with ocean view for 1000 B. |
Good booking service |

Galaxy Resort, Lamai Beach We stayed at Galaxy Resort for 11 days returning to UK 26/9. All the staff at Galaxy are very pleasant and helpful, they made our stay a pleasure. The rooms are clean and tidy and whatever you need they will try and help. We will be telling all our friends about Galaxy and would love to stay there again. Lamai is much quieter than Chewang, Galaxy is just far enough away from all the noise but very easy walking distance to all the best bars/resturants. If you want car hire or trips Galaxy can organise for you at same or less cost than you can for yourself. If you want a suit made ask at reception as they can guide you to most reliable tailor in town. The restaurant serves very good food and the staff especially Bar are very friendly. You will be sure to enjoy a stay at Galaxy Resort! Room 01 is best for beach/pool views. From Donna, Ged and Christopher Gilmartin UK |
We booked through Sawadee and all instructions were easy to follow, our reservation had been made for the room we required. Would use the service again. |

Galaxy Resort, Lamai Beach We stayed in a Thai-style bungalow for a week. Nice pool and hospitality. However I feel we should have stayed in the beach/pool-front cottage which they provided it in the same rate because it was easy to access to the pool and the beach rather than thai-style bungalow. Also in the Thai-style bungalow, I felt very dark because of the coller of the wall and the lack of the windows. |
No problem but I was little confused with a lot of email from various company such as the card system company or something. |

Galaxy Resort, Lamai Beach This was a very nice hotel, especially for Ko Samui. The hotel is at the end of the main drag in Lamai so it is close enough to everything but just out of earshot of most of the noise, and everything else is drowned out by the sounds of the ocean. I would stay here again. |

Galaxy Resort, Lamai Beach We enjoyed our stay at the galaxy. The bungalow (Thai Style) was very nice and clean. The staff helpfull and friendly. The big problem was the breakfast. I never had such a lousy breakfast in any other hotel before. The choice was not even basic and most of the time empty bowls, dry bread, dirty plates. I hope they will improve - very soon. |
Perfect |

Galaxy Resort, Lamai Beach The location and setting of the Galaxy Resort is ideally situated with beach, shops and local services all within walking distance. The setting is very tranquil but the rooms are tired in the main building. The bungalows look best. |
Very prompt and kept us up to date as to what was going on at all times during
the booking process. |

Galaxy Resort, Lamai Beach I Don´t recommend this hotel. It´s a very unfresh hotel that haven´t been renovated for many years. In the bathrooms is it a lot of mould. In the neighbourhood in Koh Samui you can find much better hotel. |
